Their contracts are purposely vague and you think your are covered until later when it's too late. The owner is ridiculous he will talk over you and has an excuse for everything. I wouldn't recommend this company to my enemy. In my opinion they should be closed down. How do you install window molding the wrong way? Of course I don't notice until later. Then I tried to get them to come back and fix it. No luck. I have 100s of photos of issues from this company. I can't upload them all but hopefully from my review you get the idea. Buyer beware. Do not use this company!!! Oh they also don't believe in getting permits. Didn't find that out until the inspector stopped by and shut it down. How does a reputable company forget to get permits??? And as time goes on I find more issues. It's beyond frustrating. I just can't even think about this company without getting upset. He will also use leftovers or cheap replacements for items you ordered. He will change them without asking. So if you ordered a blue trim. You'll get bluefish and he hopes you don't notice. It's probably left over from another job and he doesn't want to spend money on what you wanted. He will take advantage every time he can. Oh and he will make a mess and leave it for you to clean up. You will have damage that wasn't there when he started.

Reynolds Restoration Services - Uneven cabinets

Run, run far and fast. After a fire in 2019, I hired Reynolds to restore my home. What I was left…read morewith was a bill I never agreed to and a house that is quite literally falling apart. Throughout the process (over 18 months, btw) I was repeatedly told not to pay attention to the numbers on the quotes since I would not be responsible to pay that. I was also told that I would have thousands of dollars left over to apply to upgrades due to opting for drywall over plaster. Knowing I was planning to renovate my kitchen eventually anyway, I decided to apply some of these thousands towards that project. I also opted for some lower cost materials to further apply towards this expense. I was told I'd owe approximately $5-10k at the end of it. When I finally was able to move home I found a house that looks great at first glance, but was sloppily thrown together. The luxury vinyl floors are peeling in every room, have buckled and are breaking. My family and pets have all been injured by the breaking edges. Trim is weirdly slapped together. The HVAC was supposed to be fully replaced, but 6 months after moving home I discovered that it not only wasn't replaced, but due to being inoperable for nearly 2 years, it had deteriorated to the extent that pieces had to be replaced. A year later, we were told that the AC would need to be fully replaced soon. The ductwork is so haphazardly placed that only 2 rooms of the house receive sufficient AC/heat. The vanity on the second floor was never attached to the wall and water was never turned back on prior to move in. The home was utterly filthy, including the appliances which I was told were professionally cleaned. My built in microwave had clearly been dropped as it was smashed in several spots and the plate has completely disappeared. Recently, my toilet started sinking into the bathroom floor. Due to the broken and slid apart gaps in flooring, I have come to the realization that the old flooring is still in tact under the new flooring. I was told new subfloor was laid. Obviously it wasn't and now the poorly installed toilet has soaked through the 20+ year old, damaged subfloor. At the end I received a random invoice that claimed to be overdue after 6 months of begging for a final itemized bill. An item I still have never received. We found over 200 line items in the quotes that were never performed and the work shows no attention to detail, all to the tune of over $20k. When I demanded an itemized bill, and even had my attorney send a letter requesting this, they responded by suing me. Unfortunately, I was too naive to realize that a contractor telling you something doesn't mean shit if you sign something different. They won a portion of their suit and I won my countersuit. However the whole mess left me in astronomical debt, I filed bankruptcy and they came after me for more than the home is worth. They are a rotten wolf in sheep's clothing organization. I'm sure they'll respond with some bullshit, so just know, none of this is made up.

I had the greatest experience with this company AVK Kitchen & Bath…read more I absolutely love my remodeled kitchen. Their workmanship was superb, and I couldn't find a single fault. The staff and their team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The senior design consultant and manger, Brian was very professional , his recommendations were great, and extremely thoughtful. The production manger Angel, was absolutely fantastic and patient, always answering my calls promptly and attentive throughout the process. The stone company and their team were also outstanding. They told me the project would be completed in three weeks, and it was finished in less than three weeks. I highly recommend them to my friends and family. Fantastic job VKB Kitchen & Bath Team! 18 Months Later... Still No Functional Kitchen We hired VKB…read moreKitchen & Bath to remodel our kitchen and selected cabinets through their vendor, Medallion Cabinetry. What should have been an exciting project has turned into an 18-month ordeal with no end in sight. This experience has been plagued by poor communication, poor project management, and incompetent craftsmanship. The project has taken far longer than quoted, and some of the finished work is so poor that it resembles a DIY job--most notably the installation of our patio door and beverage refrigerator. While some cabinets are acceptable, many arrived defective (cracked paint, loose supports, unfinished details), and others were incorrect or never delivered. It became clear that the initial plans were not properly reviewed, resulting in incorrect material orders. We have had to consistently push to get any work completed and repeatedly demand fixes for issues that should have been done the first time correctly. The project manager was largely uncommunicative, deadlines were missed, and there was little evidence of proper oversight. To be fair, the workers on-site were polite. However, the lack of leadership, coordination, and accountability from management made this a frustrating and exhausting experience. After 18 months, we still do not have a functional kitchen. We have been forced to rely on a microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, and frequent dining out. Outstanding issues include: * Missing and uninstalled cabinets (including refrigerator enclosure) * Incorrect and poorly fitting molding * Damaged quartz (including dulling from acetone use and unremovable smudges) * Incomplete drywall, painting, and ceiling repairs * Pantry shelving not installed * Misaligned patio door that does not open properly * Hardware (handles/pulls) never installed This has been a constant battle to get corrections made. Poor communication, missed deadlines, and low-quality workmanship have defined this experience. We cannot recommend VKB or their cabinet vendor. Do not trust them with your remodel.
