One company quoted three times the estimate of the tree guys but admitted that the job was beyond their scope and referred me to The Tree guy. Long story short, after dealing with a lot of reputable and unrepeatable companies I landed on The Tree Guy. You will definitely pay for their equipment and expertise but it's a great balance of fairness and peace of mind. They are taking care of their employees and your property. I had called this company early July to come and give my elderly mother an estimate to trim her…read moreyard for her. She had a really good person from a local reputable Nursery who used to do it and did an amazing job for 250.00. Unfortunately she found out that this gentleman had died. So I called this company , All Seasons Landworks and left a message for them to call me. A man called me and I told him what we were looking for and to call my mother in gahanna and get a time set up for the estimate. I believe his name was Doug Hannah. He did and it took him quite awhile for him to come out with the estimate which was 500.00 for the same work someone was previously doing for half of that and the person was a professional landscaper. So being that my mothers yard was so overgrown and we both explained that to Doug , that we needed him as soon as he could get there. He told my mother he would be there the first week in August to do the job. So the first week goes by with no call or message or anything. I even called myself and asked for a call back , but heard nothing. Finally I told my mother we obviously have to start all over to try to find someone because we wasted a month waiting for Doug to come out to do the estimate and then to say the week he would be out , we patiently waited. The yard now was growing weeds up the front of the garage and plants and flowers were hitting people in the head as they walked up my mothers walkway to her porch. So I called and left two messages to let them know we were canceling their services for lack of showing up. My mother also called and left messages at two numbers also to say we had cancelled then due to no show also. Neither one of us got a call back to apologize or anything. Then Doug just shows up in her yard a couple days later. My mother notices him and walks out side and he just stands there and doesn't say anything to her. So she says we had to get someone else , because you never showed or called us. He just looks around and says a few things standing at least 15 feet away from her and his back to her. And then leaves. We have no idea what that was about and again he didn't apologize at all for not showing up or even explaining what happened or why it took so long for him to even come by in the first place. This company has terrible customer service and quite frankly was awful to an elderly woman ( almost 90 years old ) and was charging double over what she was originally paying a professional to do. I don't know if he was waiting until he thought she would feel desperate and pay more or what but it was an awful experience and would never recommend them to anyone , especially someone elderly. Not even a call back is unacceptable. So we found another company to do it for 250.00 and they did way more than the original guy did for her ! And they were prompt and came immediately and actually kept in contact with her the entire way through. Wow ! Maybe Doug should take some notes! Do Not Use this company !
