Several companies wanted to tear down my fence and my neighbors fence and weren't willing to rebuild them. One company quoted three times the estimate of the tree guys but admitted that the job was beyond their scope and referred me to The Tree guy. Long story short, after dealing with a lot of reputable and unrepeatable companies I landed on The Tree Guy. You will definitely pay for their equipment and expertise but it's a great balance of fairness and peace of mind. They are taking care of their employees and your property. Safety was a concern for me and also a concern for them.

I can't begin to describe how, literally, violated I felt by this company. They have a sales rep,…read moreTaylor, that came out, interrupted every single sentence I made to express what I wanted done on my yard, and lo and behold, half my yard looks like utter shirt since the spring "cleanup." He told me the day after they "finished" that he was coming to get payment but didn't bother asking if I was satisfied (I wasn't). It came to the point that I asked the owner that the sales rep not return to my property as he made me feel unsafe and harassed. I have a good 30 minute recording of him yelling at me because I said they didn't do a good job laying soil and grass seed as I asked in the quote. The posted photos are blue seed that I had to entirely reseed MYSELF about 3 weeks after none of their new seeding took because they, deceivingly, only laid straw without any seeding underneath. They've ALSO been supposedly mowing our lawn as well but only mow the front after I told them I had to replant their failures in the back and they have yet to mow the back for over a month and a half now. Because I asked them to not mowover my new growth that I laid out. On top of ALL of this. The owner promised to "make it right." Has yet to come back out to address any issue I mentioned. Has even "no-showed" on two occasions after scheduling a specific date and time with me. Have also been calling for months to cancel service with no return calls. Every single one goes to voicemail. Would be GLAD to discuss how utterly they screwed up our yard and failed as a "service" if you're interested in their failures. kshaw2310@gmail.com

I signed up for Yelp specifically to give these guys a great review, because: a) they did a great…read morejob for us, and b) they don't seem to have a lot of reviews on Yelp. We wanted to build a paver patio in our back yard this summer. After doing some research, we had phone calls with 5 companies, and ended up meeting in person with 3 different companies. All 3 of them were great - really professional, good at communication, etc. Out of the "final 3" companies, we ended up picking Timberwood for two reasons: 1) We really liked Sam's design. He listened to our "wants" - what we were trying to do - gave us his opinion, and came up with a really elegant-looking patio that met our needs. 2) Timberwood was a bit less expensive than the other 2 companies. We were a little nervous - partially due to the lack of reviews online - but the experience was excellent. The team was super-professional. They built the patio in about a week, and it is high quality, and looks beautiful. In addition, they planted some Arbor Vitae shrubs that didn't thrive - probably b/c it was such a hot, dry, long summer - and when I told Sam, he replaced the shrubs at no charge (and the new ones are doing just great). It is a cold, gray Ohio day right now, but as soon as it brightens up, I'll update this post with some pictures. Anyways, we are very, very happy with our patio, and very happy with Timberwood. We highly recommend them!
