Very pleased with the process- my appointments are usually very quick ( in and out within 20minutes) and the staff is ALWAYS friendly. Lisa is awesome- highly recommend booking with her! The only reason I'm not doing 5 stars is because of the pricing structure... I'm not sure they have a defined pricing structure? I feel like you can basically set your own price- so my friend's husband is paying half of what I am paying- he's having his back done while I'm having my bikini area done. The 8 treatments did not reduce my hair of 90% and there ISN'T A PREMIER PROMISE---you have to pay more money if you are not hair free after using all your sessions. It is extremely painful and I got burned twice where I had a black scab for a week. They were as nice as can be, almost overboard, until I told them that I thought the prices were way to high. If you did your research you would go with a place that uses actual medical providers not technicians to put a laser to your face.I am writing this on behalf of my poor mother who was treated here and had 6 treatments with no results, the last one they burned her! I am so disappointed with the lack of returned calls, lack of quality to the treatment, you should not be pointing a laser at someone with out being a licensed medical provider. I had a great experience today for my first laser appointment. Catherine made sure to explain everything about how the process works during my consultation and answer all of my questions. Then I was able to start the process immediately with my technician Jackie. The doctor came in for the beginning to make sure that I had no reactions to the test area and then Jackie quickly and efficiently performed the procedure. Definitely a good experience. read more

I am almost done with my treatments and the results are great. I can't overstate how amazing it is to not have to shave. Although, I have recently had some side effects, (significant itching), so I called Columbus Laser Spa and they were very supportive and helpful with tips on how to mitigate the symptoms. My technicians are always friendly and patient with me, as I do not handle the pain very well. Overall a good experience. One piece of advice- do your treatments during the winter months. In order to be able to receive treatments, you must not have had any sun exposure, which becomes very difficult during the summer months if you like to play outside. read more

I am an Indian female, and I would be considered a 'fairer' Indian. I was told I would be a great candidate for the laser treatments because of the dark hair. The areas that I had treated, as well as results, were as follows: Side burns/legs: Great results almost immediately Chin/neck: Hair growth increased Upper Lip/under arms: Reduced hair growth, but still see thinner black hairs After paying close to $2,500, I cannot say I am happy. I was given 12 treatments to start with. I stopped counting the treatments after 6, because I was told that I would be treated until hair growth went away. I was started on the Yag, since I am Indian. After about 6 sessions, they told me they would start me on the GentleLase since the Yag was not working on me since I am more light skinned. The person treating me said because they 'used the wrong laser' on me, they would start the sessions from the start. The GentleLase ended up increasing my hair grown. After I got to session 12, they said I am done with my package and would not treat me again unless I purchased more treatments. I made a few calls to corporate, and finally was able to get the office doctor to see me. He said he would give me 3 sessions on the diode, and I would see immediate results. He told me he would personally see to it. The doctor never gave me the treatments, and after 3 sessions, though my hair growth was not gone, they would not give me anymore treatments. I had a total of 15 sessions, on 3 different lasers. There was no follow-up with me personally to ensure my experience and my sessions were personalized and customized. Overall, I am pretty annoyed with the unprofessional behavior. But I am at least happy my side burns and legs worked out. read more

Has scheduled my consultation for this morning. I was speaking with the lady on the phone about how long it would take because I had limited time. She promised me that it would take 30 minutes or less since I had already had laser treatment and knew what to expect. I show up five minutes late because of snow and traffic, and the girls at the front desk said they were getting ready to call me because they couldn't get me out by 1030 like the note in the system said. They told me it would take 30 to 45 minutes. There's no way that they can do it in less than a half an hour. I explained that the girl on the phone told me that since I had had previous experience with laser hair removal they could get me out quicker by skipping some of the information. The girls at the front desk said no way could they get done in less than half an hour. I drove 25 minutes to get there, and they asked me if I want to reschedule. Are you kidding me? Why aren't these people on the same page? Wasted an hour drive time getting up here only to have them turn me away. I will not be rescheduling read more

I am very happy with the results so far and wouldn't deny that the *results* make the process of getting laser hair removal well worth it. The technicians at Columbus Laser Spa, especially Annie, are wonderful: both in terms of bedside manner and their knowledge base. That said, the overall headache of the process hasn't been worth it. I'd have been happy to pay the same or more to go somewhere else where I wasn't treated as a source of cash for the business. I had my initial consult with Caroline, who I later came to find out is their newer business manager. Her inexperience surely contributes to her inability to convey information in a thoughtful and organized manner; however her refusal to clearly answer my questions about the science of laser hair removal, clinic policies (hair free guarantee and pregnancy pause) and pricing structure was the result of more than genuine naivete. I sat there for about 30 minutes while Caroline continued to fist pump, hoot and holler about her excitement for laser hair removal, all the while flatly refusing to actually offer any information of substance. When she finally gave me my pricing quote, she picked up her computer, winked at me and said, "I'm really good at this." I had to wonder what there was to be "good" at. Surely, no business would trust this woman to select who to give what prices and discounts to. There had to be some sort of standardized pricing. Further, if she was "good" at finding discounts, why would she give them to me? She had established absolutely no connection with me as a person or patient. I felt pushed and rushed into signing the contract, and really wanted to leave. It's my fault for not standing up for myself and saying how uncomfortable the gimmicky presentation and the lack of actual caring for me as if I were a person or patient, but I was so shocked and uncomfortable that I signed anyway, wanting the process to be over. After I signed the contract, I was pushed by Caroline and several staff members to have a treatment that day. Because I was told to let my hair grow for the consult and because my skin gets very irritated when dry shaved, I repeatedly asked to start my treatment package at a later date. I was all but pushed into having the treatment, and of course spent several days with very irritated skin. Since I've had multiple treatments since, all with higher laser settings, I am certain that the irritation was from the dry shaving and not the laser. I went home and felt sick about having been pressured into signing the contract. I felt clueless about some of their clinic policies, and maddened about the way the consult went, including Caroline's general inability to thoughtfully answer questions, explain the difference between Columbus Laser Spa and other businesses and explain the pricing structure. I called back. I was transferred to Caroline who continued to talk in circles. I twice had to stop her and explain to her that she was doing the same thing she did in our consult: she talks and talks and talks, but doesn't actually say anything. She was supposed to follow up with me regarding some questions I had on the pregnancy pause and pricing structure, and of course never did. I called back and asked for the general manager to contact me, who of course, never did. I went for a second treatment, feeling trapped in the contract, and the tech asked me how things were going. I opened up to her about the situation. She was leaving the business and felt awful about my experience. She had me meet with another employee there (Hannah) who was able to do consults. She was very kind and redid the entire consultation for me when Caroline was out of the office, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. I still had questions about the pricing structure and wanted to be certain that the feedback regarding this Caroline person got back to the general manager (Clay). I never heard back from her or him, and so the loop was never closed. It was pretty obvious to me that the general feeling among employees there is that money is the bottom line, the only line really, and having customers feel taken advantage of and unclear on the process and policies is of no concern. Although the technicians are great, I dread going to this place because frankly, I don't believe the company has ethical business practices or that they deserve my business. The results of their service are great, but nothing you can't get elsewhere (despite what they'll tell you). You'll probably pay less elsewhere, although Columbus Laser Spa will tell you that they have a guarantee. Please research the other places- some of them also DO offer a guarantee (CLS will tell you that they don't) and of those who don't offer a guarantee, the cost of treatments may be so much less that the cost of the guarantee is greater than purchasing additional treatments a la carte at another center. read more

I started treatments in 2013 and thought it was great with great customer service. After the year mark I had to change one appointment as I was on antibiotics. Scheduling was not easy as they have become very popular and are booked with their evening and weekend appointments. 3-4 of my appointments I arrived before my appointment time and was still not taken back until 20-30min after my appointment time. I did spend the extra money on the lifetime guarantee (make sure you read the policy). I know everyone is different and results vary from each person. It is 2015 and I can say I am now shaving again at least once a week in all areas treated. My skin now has a severe histamine reaction with laser or scratches and has become very painful to retreat the areas. I regret spending the amount of money that I did and the 2 years I spent on treatments. read more

They are the worst run company I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to give my business to. They have no morals. They will not only steal your money, and time, but then they continue to lie to you, test your patience and try to push you out. First off - the treatment did not work, like at all. And that is not even the half of it. I spent endless YEARS trying to complete my treatment as directed by two different techs in two different offices with basically no visible results due to their admitted but in no way resolved incompetence. This was so much time and money which I will never get back. I had a really long review that wouldn't fit into Yelp so I will keep it short. They also burned me so badly i needed to seek medical treatment. All i can say is I hope your smart and don't trust them but if you do I hope you all get what you pay for by someone who knows what they are doing and are treated with more respect then I was. 12/2/15- They asked for me to contact them to discuss more. So after 2 years of religiously following their treatment schedule and no sun, thousands of dollars paid up front for a GUARANTEE, I am at a loss of money and still have the hair I paid to have "gone for life". While the staff is pleasant and generally helpful, the management protocols and corporate policies of this company is a JOKE. After management turnover, 3 times, speaking with each of them of my progress, or lack there of; the doctor on site twice, I was lied to, several times. Somehow a corporate nurse has the authority over site doctors to try to make something right. I understand treatments vary, I understand the shade of hair matter, and all the other variables. I get that, I accept that, I do not accept that they basically stole my money with false advertisement and lies with not even close to an acceptable result! Why do you think they make you come back every 6-8 weeks?!?! Shedding period. That means they get you back in before hair comes back so you THINK it is a success, and then your sessions are out, you used all your money up, there is nothing left to refund and you are stuck with the hair you wanted gone. As the corporate nurse just told me...it takes 10-15 visits to usually get it maximum loss (NOT COMPLETE LOSS), yet their packages are for 8 treatments?!??! Hmm. Odd or genius BUSINESS decision!?
