This was a great experience, the pilots and everyone involved were awesome. Can't wait to do it again.

The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. We had a large group, but the service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and everything was brought out timely and correctly. My food was really good! It was brunch time so I had coffee, the "Mimosa of the Moment" which was an apple cinnamon, a biscuit with blueberry preserves, and the Southern Shakshouka. All were fantastic and I would definitely get again. I also thought the price was affordable for the quantity.

My server was great. The place is really lovely and I like there is now a parking garage just steps away. I started with a specialty sip cocktail - an Orange Cinnamon Bun Old Fashioned, and ordered 3 apps since they were half-priced for happy hour. The Biscuits for a Cause (2 with butter, jam and honey), Fried Pickles (chips with ranch), and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes (I don't normally like goat cheese, but these are served with stone-ground goat cheese grits) were all fabulous and I had plenty to take home after trying all. I had a glass of red blend wine with my entree, which was the Pan-Seared Salmon. My two chosen sides were the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The salmon was perfectly cooked; it was a great dish. I also got the Rosemary & Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes to go to have with my breakfast this morning. The service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. The manager also helped out bringing food, and checking on me. I would return for another meal.

These meatballs were incredibly tender, sitting in a rich pomodoro sauce that brought a beautiful balance of brightness and depth. Finished with a sprinkle of pecorino Romano, each bite had that savory, slightly salty kick that elevates the entire dish. The toasted ciabatta crostinis were crisp and golden--perfect for soaking up every bit of that sauce. And that fresh basil leaf on top? A simple touch that added just the right amount of freshness to bring it all together. After a day of capturing powerful stories, it was refreshing to experience that same level of care and intention on the plate. This appetizer didn't just hit, it lingered

It was definitely not the same place. However, this place warmed up to me pretty quickly. It looked a lot different when it first opened, has theough a few changes with one being a Hallway to the sushi restaurant next door - Great sushi by the way!! My friend and I were equally impressed. We got the giant meatballs from South Village and 3 different types of sushi from next door. Quite the spread but all of it was good!! I come a lot here - for months I used to come every Sunday night get the wings and hummus. Whatever the old wing sauce was - it was sooo good. They have now switched to buffalo and to be honest other places make it better. Still try the hummus. It's delicious. So is the incredible meatball. Drinks here have always been really good. Quality. Pizza really goood - get the Hot Honey pepperoni. They also used to have one of the best calamari plates in the city - and I have Italian parents who ALWAYS order Calamari. So if you ever see it - get it. Small tv in the corner by the bar - enough to be seen, small enough not to kill the vibe but definitely don't come if your goal is to watch a game. This past time I went I had the Braised short rib, with a Martini and the cookie with ice cream for dessert. I hardly ever get dessert but some broad yelled at me for getting stuck in the great snowmageddon snow on the way here so cookie it was!

We started with the chicken wings as an appetizer - 10/10. Great flavor and texture. Duck Fried Rice - 9/10. More wild rice and a decent serving size of duck, which I enjoyed. Braised Short Rib - 10/10. Wasn't expecting the flavor and tenderness that came with it. It's a good choice for a date night, but beware that the tables are close together so you can hear the conversations next to you, unless you don't mind having to lean in to whisper.

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Parking was easy since there is a free lot out back and there is a decent amount of street parking nearby. We got there during the hour between lunch and dinner where they are flipping the restaurant for the next meal. The server asked us if we would still like to come in and get some drinks and hang out until food was ready. We decided it was worth the wait. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. She even brought me a bag of ice for the milk I had to pump during the meal. We ordered some drinks and talked for a little while and she came back promptly at four to take our food orders. I ordered the seasonal salad, which had an incredible house made peppercorn vinaigrette, Delicata, squash, mixed greens, blueberries, walnuts, and a few other things. I also got a side of beer battered fries with Housemade ranch. Everything I got was five stars. I will honestly be dreaming about that salad and wish they sold the salad dressing by the bottle. I kind of regret not asking for something to go. My sisters enjoyed spinach artichoke dip, a burger, a pizza, the salmon dish, the hot honey brussels sprouts, the nonalcoholic wine, a strawberry lemonade, and a cocktail. The prices were pretty good, especially given the quality of food. The restaurant got pretty busy throughout the night, so it seems as though it is a fan favorite in the area. However, it never got too loud and there seemed to be enough seating that people didn't have to wait. It was a decent size dining room and they had a covered patio out back. I would definitely return and would recommend this place to a friend.

The place was dim and loud with music and people talking. They had to talk a bit louder to hear each other over the music. The tables were very close together but we were comfortable. I ordered a Mimosa and added the Ketel One Cucumber Mint. It was very refreshing. I had the 3/$12 oysters and the Seasonal salad add grilled chicken. It was all delicious and our waitress was great! She informed us that she was new but did such a great job. The only qualms I had was the loudness. It was hard to hear my friends talking. It was a great little brunch spot and we went on the perfect beautiful day.

I don't recommend their new veggie burger, I don't like a lot of spice, and it was spicy. I really wish they still had the impossible burger where I could guarantee it was at least both gluten free and vegan. It was also a wee bit too crumbly however I'm not complaining about the texture. Once seated, we started with the complimentary bread--one was like a sourdough baguette and the other a darker pumpernickel-style loaf. Both were fresh and really good, a nice way to kick things off. For my meal, I went with the Bistro Burger. It came topped with provolone, caramelized onions, arugula, and a garlic aïoli on a sub-style bun. I added tomatoes, and it was served with fries. The burger itself was cooked perfectly to medium rare, which I appreciated. Flavor-wise, it was solid--but for $20.95, it felt a little on the smaller side compared to what you'd expect for that price point. My wife ordered the chopped salad, and it was huge. She really enjoyed it and said it was packed with flavor--definitely a better value portion-wise. Service was fine. Our server was clearly busy but did a good job keeping our drinks full and checking in when she could. And yes, we were at Cheesecake Factory and skipped the cheesecake. At $11.95 for a slice (on the low end), it just didn't feel worth the splurge this time. Overall, they have an enormous menu with plenty of options, but prices are definitely on the higher end for what I'd consider a mid-range restaurant. The burger was good, just not something I'd come back specifically for--especially given the price and portion size. Final thought: Good experience overall, but next time I'm craving a burger, I'd probably look elsewhere.
