My review is based on the service... it was not good. I came in asking for money pieces and a calico under neath. The owners daughter did my hair, mostly.... It was supposed to be an estimated 3-4 hour appointment, hourly color correction is how she wanted to charge me. I was fine with that after our consultation and she explained why. So first part fine, I just sat there talking. But when she finishes rinsing the color and toner, I stared in the mirror and just as she was looking at it she got quiet. She started showing me and I just started crying. I was 3 hours into my appointment and my money pieces were yellow. The calico was supposed to be blonde, red, and brown. It was yellow, pink, and brown. She said she didn't know why the red didn't take. I had to walk out to collect myself. I came in a minute later and they offered to tone it more and add more red. Now we were past the 4 hours. She had other appointments coming in and I had to sit and wait in between customers. The owner (her mom) came and helped between but I ended up sitting there for 6 hours in total. My hair was still nothing like any of the photos. I just wanted to leave so I said that was fine. I didn't want to keep waiting between other clients because she didn't leave enough time to work on my hair. I never took photos of the final color result because I hated it so much, wish I did now. The stylist did take a photo to show me the back at the end of the appointment, but I never got one. But now about 5 weeks later I decided to get it fixed, and I was shocked! This new stylist asked who did my hair and where because the cut was so bad and jagged and absolutely chopped in the back. I obviously don't look at the back of my head very much so I had no idea. I walked around like this for weeks with not a clue. I paid HUNDREDS of dollars and even left a tip because I felt it was a genuine interaction. She just doesn't know how to do hair is really the only thing I can figure at this point. She did offer to fix it but she didn't say for free so I wasn't going to come back and pay more money when it was already a very bad experience. Why would I trust you to fix it? During the consultation I told them both I had a very bad experience with someone a few months prior and I was nervous to try another salon. I trusted them and they sounded confident... I don't know about the other stylists but I do not recommend the daughter to do cuts or color. (I forgot her name)

I've had both Rachael and Peyton cut my hair and I love both of them and the haircuts I get…read more They've always really listened to me and given me exactly what I asked for, and the times I haven't really known, they ask me this or that questions to figure it out. And especially with Peyton there have been times I told her to just do what she thought would look good and I've always been blown away and thrilled with the results. They also both excel at cutting wavy and curly hair--and making me feel good about my waves, rather than just straightening them out all the time. Most recently (July 2024) they did a balayage on my virgin hair. It was something they've both recommended to me for years, but that I was nervous about. Still, I wanted to try something new this summer and go lighter as I've always kind of wanted to go blonde. But I was worried about the color coming out too cool and clashing with my natural warm skin tone and freckles, so I asked for a golden, strawberry blonde. They got the color exactly right!!! I'm so happy with it and it looks really natural. Two months later, I'm still getting compliments on it at my job. For anyone wondering about the salon itself, it's very clean and has a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. They use Kevin Murphy products which are excellent. And personally, I love all the brick. 12/10 would recommend!

I arrived early for my scheduled appointment.. After waiting 25 minutes, the stylist is still late…read more So I left. What happened afterward is what earned this review. The owner contacted me and actually told me that she didn't think "anyone was really at fault" and characterized the situation as "the timing didn't line up well." Excuse me -- what exactly was MY fault? I arrived early. I was sitting there waiting for the appointment THEY scheduled. The stylist was 25 minutes late. There was no mutual "timing" problem and absolutely no reason to insert me into a discussion of fault. Even more audacious was suggesting that my arriving early somehow had relevance to the situation. Had I arrived at exactly my scheduled appointment time, the stylist still would have been 25 minutes late. Instead of simply taking accountability and saying, "Our stylist was late and we apologize for wasting your time," the owner attempted to repackage it as some unfortunate, neutral circumstance in which nobody was responsible. That was incredibly condescending. Being 25 minutes behind is bad enough. Trying to minimize it afterward and manufacture some bizarre suggestion of shared fault with the client who SHOWED UP is what made the experience unacceptable. My time is not less valuable because I'm the client. I was there. The stylist wasn't. That isn't a "timing issue." That IS the issue. UPDATE: The owner's response actually confirms the issue. My appointment was at 4:00, and at approximately 4:25 the stylist was still not ready for my appointment, which is why I left. I never expected to be seen during the 45 minutes I arrived early, so my arrival time before my scheduled appointment is IRRELEVANT. The issue is simply that 25 minutes AFTER my "scheduled" appointment time, my appointment still had not begun. Rather than simply taking responsibility for that delay, the response continues to emphasize that I "chose" to arrive early and "chose" to leave. Yes--I chose to leave after waiting 25 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time while the stylist was still unavailable.
