Couldn't find the actual business storefront. Called and turns out it's a wholesale bakery - not open to the public.

We spent a relaxed afternoon at la Madeleine in Webster and left reminded why French cafés have…read moresuch staying power. Food: I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu Baked Pasta, and it was pure comfort. Creamy, cheesy, and generously portioned, with tender chicken and ribbons of ham woven throughout. My daughter chose the Strawberry Nutella® Crêpe, which felt like a little celebration on a plate. Light, delicate, and just sweet enough. My husband went with the French Dip au Caramelized Onions. The beef was tender, the onions perfectly sweet, and the jus rich enough to make every bite worth dipping. We couldn't resist taking home pastries, and they were just as lovely later that evening. Service: Friendly and efficient. Orders came out promptly, and the staff kept the line moving without making the experience feel rushed. Ambiance: Cozy and inviting, with the feel of a neighborhood café. The pastry case greets you as soon as you walk in, and the scent of coffee and baked goods makes it hard not to linger. Overall, it was an easy, satisfying afternoon spot for families or a casual lunch. Sometimes you just want something warm, familiar, and well done. This delivered.

Had a meal at La Madeleine for the first time in a long time. Went for breakfast around 11 a.m…read more I was disappointed. First of all, what restaurant does not have sausage and bacon when they have the breakfast menu out? How does that happen exactly? Even if the Sysco truck did not bring it, the manager is not aware of H‑E‑B? I mean, go pick some up. At the very least, tell customers, up front, there is no bacon or sausage when they order. Not when they have gone through the line to pay. "Uh. Did anyone mention we do not have sausage?" Me: "No. I'll have bacon then." Him: "Um. We don't have bacon either. How about turkey bacon?" Nobody likes turkey bacon. They plated the scrambled eggs, French toast, and the offending turkey bacon all on one small plate. Normally pancakes or French toast comes on its own plate so it is not tainted with runny eggs or greasy bacon. The Croque Madame was dry, room temperature, and generally disappointing. It was like it was cooked 5 hours prior. The Cesar salad's lettuce tasted of chemicals. Though not crowded, service was horrible. There was not one employee who smiled nor said anything nice at all. To anyone. Ever. Then I saw the manager who looked so miserable and like he did not want to be there. None of those employees had actual printed name tags. All, including the manager, had to write their name on their tags. What place doesn't have printed name tags. It's like their employees are temporary and disposable. And guess what? The lack of service, lack of basic breakfast foods, and cold food reflects all of that. Frankly I did not see anyone one customer who appeared happy. Tables all around us spoke of their own disappointing experience. What has happened to La Madeleine? What I know is I cannot go back. There are too many good restaurants who actually want business. It's a miserable place filled with miserable employees making food that reflects all of that. It's been taken off our list of area restaurants to attend.

I can only speak of the coffee because that is all I have had, but it has been excellent each time…read more I live in Galveston for school but often have to travel to League City or Clear Lake, and I get excited thinking about Millie being close enough to grab a coffee. I've had the viet iced coffee, viet iced latte, and the ube coffee. All of them have been the perfect ratio of bitterness of the viet coffee balanced by the sweet condensed milk. The ube one was a little bit too sweet for my liking, but the flavor was excellent, I love a good cold foam on my coffee. My only concern is that the drinks are pricey, but to be honest, what coffee shop/cafe isn't these days. Appreciate the ambiance, but it can be busy at times or too loud to get work done. Have brought friends here who have also really liked the suggestion. Service has always been quick for me. This cafe will continue to be a staple my last year in the city!

The young lady taking our order was just passing for friendly. The rest of the staff was young and sort of loud and unprofessional while making orders. I usually don't care, have fun at work, but it was a bit off putting. The drinks were good. We ordered matchas, coffees, and fruit teas. The food, however, was a pass. We ordered two different banh mi, hep quay and thap cam. Overpriced and just underwhelming. The spicy tuna sandwich was not good. The only thing that tasted decent were the spring rolls. They came mini sized and were fun to eat. Definitely will come back for the drinks!
