Was in the area so had to stop by the Puddery. It's been on my to do list since I saw all the news…read moreabout it. It's a bit of a hard place to find, at the end of a small plaza next to a school. The store is small, the waiting area no bigger than a walk-in closet. Service is minimal but friendly and fast. You order yourself on an iPad. The hype has mostly died down, so there was no line, but they still have a pretty steady stream of customers coming in. I got the strawberry banana pudding and the chocolate berry me cup. Both were about $8 each. I'll be honest, I thought most banana puddings were the same, but I was wrong. This banana pudding was light, whipped, smooth, and creamy. It had a good amount of layers with the vanilla wafers, intermixed with cuts of strawberry. And while it looks like a small portion, it was really filling, a good size for one person. The chocolate strawberry cups are made to order. Again, while you probably could get it cheaper doing it yourself, the strawberries were perfectly juicy and sweet. The chocolate sauce was smooth and tempered, truly making it a delicious bite. Definitely will need to be back to try their other options!

You order and pay on the tablet. They had a painting on the wall of Keith Lee on their wall and he even has his own flavor item. It was actually a pretty spacious spot for pudding and waffles. I tried the Keith Lee croffle. It was delicious. Sweet and crunchy. The toppings actually paired well with the waffle. The syrup was like melted on there with the pudding?

Lots of really unique art and designs. I came at 10:30pm when they close at 11. I got their signature Dolly Llama blue cookie shake. There was one couple ahead of me. I'm not sure what their staff of 2 (who was nice) was doing back there but 20 minutes to get my order seemed a bit long. I wasn't in a rush but it just felt way longer than you should have wait for something like this. I enjoyed it just fine...but for the time it took, it didn't come off as anything special. It was pretty runny rather than a thicker milkshake that I was expecting. Maybe that is their style but you could get a more traditional McFlurry at McDonald's that tastes better in about 3-4 minutes for a fraction of the price.

Service here is nothing to write home about, it's younger employees who don't really want to be there. We were literally the only ones in there and they did not greet us or ever really acknowledge us. Just kind of rude but they're young. Now for the desserts here they're amazing. We went with the mini waffle sandwich and the og liege. The desserts here are massive and worth every penny I'm still dreaming about my of liege with horchata ice cream.

They have a vast selection of pies, not just flavors, but different sizes and different kinds of crust. Pie made in a cookie crust is so divine! The staff are wonderful, but most of their goods are pretty expensive. They also have cloud cookies, thumbprint cookies, pie pops and you can have your pie either A La Mode or as a pie parfait! They offer catering and delivery. Buttermilk Sky Pie also sells their own jams, fruit butter, and swizzle sticks. The staff, and the quality and uniqueness of their desserts are definitely filled with Southern charm and hospitality. I have to come here again.

To be honest, we originally passed by it, but when I saw really strong reviews on Yelp, I couldn't help but make a short u-turn to check it out. I grabbed a trio of delights: Chocolate Cream Pie: If you love chocolate, this is your jam. I'm not the biggest chocolate person, but my wife and mom loved it. Banana Cream Pie: This was the real winner for me. No notes, I'd happily order this every time if we end up here again. Coconut Cream Pie: This was tasty, but so overly sweet that it almost rattled the enamel on my teeth. I had to eat it in 1-2 bite portions over the course of the weekend. I would happily return again when visiting my family in the area!
