I'm so glad I did! When I walked in, it was pretty quiet, and I was immediately greeted very warmly. The owner was there and shared with me that they have actually been in the area for several years. The shop itself is a really nice little bakery with so many different sweets and desserts to choose from. I was surprised to also see that they offer lunch items like sandwiches, including chicken salad, along with a few other savory options. Of course, I came for something sweet! They had cookies, brownies, cupcakes, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and so many other desserts, but I decided to try the mini sweet potato pie. It was EXCELLENT! What stood out to me the most was the texture of the sweet potato filling. It was incredibly smooth, creamy, and had such a delicious flavor. That little pie was so good, and it definitely made me want to come back and try more of their desserts. I love finding local places like this, especially ones that have been right in the community and somehow slipped under my radar. I will definitely be back to try the cobblers and some of their other goodies. Thank you for such a warm welcome and a great first experience. 10/10 recommend Cynthia's Kitchen!

She brought her decor ideas -- baby pink and gold (my favorite colors!) -- to Frosting Dreams and all the Things and met with the owner Ashley to talk about cake design. Now, my mom is a lot of things -- incredibly smart, empowered, and loving, to name a few -- but artistic is not one of those things, and she was going to have to rely on Ashley to design a cake for my party. My mom showed Ashley the decorations she'd purchased and told her that my favorite flavors were birthday cake and funfetti, and Ashley ABSOLUTELY DELIVERED! She came up with a wonderful idea of three cakes shaped in my initials and decorated with various treats. Not only was the cake ready on time, it was truly gorgeous and tasted divine. There were beautiful, fresh flowers, perfectly baked macarons, succulent chocolate-covered strawberries, and delectable cake balls decorating the cake. The cake itself was so moist and flavorful, and if I could buy a gallon jug of Ashley's buttercream icing, I absolutely would, and it would be gone in a day! This cake was so beautifully decorated and somehow it tasted even better than it looked. This is an amazing bakery, and I definitely recommend it to everyone in the Deer Park area!

There was no line so we were in and out pretty quickly. They had about a dozen different flavors to choose from. Overall the cupcakes were okay. They were moist, everything seemed very fresh. Flavor-wise, nothing really stood out and it could've easily been from Kroger or Target. The fudge sundae tasted a lot like the red velvet. There wasn't a wow factor. For the price, I wouldn't be back. A half dozen was over $30, and these are standard cupcakes, not a the larger variety you might find at crave or Dessert Bar.
