Their excuse for not disclosing costs upfront was that their services were related to emergency services and a home insurance claim. Furthermore, they waited several weeks after insurance claim was denied to mention we owed for their services and asked for immediate payment on first notice. No reasonable payment plan was provided for the expensive service. While they offered two payments, they had to both be made in two weeks time frame from invoice being serviced or else face threat of lein. The notice of the lein was not given until a week prior to application of the lein.
