I've had a great experience with Alpine Maids so far, both with the initial clean and the first follow-up cleaning. Noa handled the most recent cleaning and did a very good job. The house was thoroughly cleaned, and it was clear that attention to detail was paid. I especially appreciate the small touches, like the way the towels are folded and how the toilet paper and facial tissues are neatly presented. It gives the house a bit of a hotel feel and is a nice touch. Everyone I've dealt with has been friendly, pleasant, and had a good attitude. I've been using Alpine Maids for a while, and every cleaner besides Gabriella has done a poor job -- but the most recent cleaning with Karen was absolutely unacceptable. The floors were left covered in kitty litter and debris, even though my cat hasn't been home. Counters were still dirty, stove vent wasn't cleaned at all, and the stove grates were literally dripping with oil. Surfaces weren't dusted, and nothing was decluttered or organized. I honestly don't know what she spent two hours doing. I've attached photos because the results speak for themselves. For the prices Alpine Maids charges, this level of service is inexcusable. Unless there's a major change in quality control, I'll be finding another cleaning company. read more

Rose is very good with our huskies, who can be a handful, and the house always feels fresh and clean when she heads out. I love to clean, but there are times when you need a little help, especially when your dog has other plans for your clean house. This is where Alpine Maids steps in. Even before coming over, Maggie was so friendly and professional helping me get set up for our appointment. You also need to read the tips Chris W., founder and president of Alpine Maids put on their blog. It's really helpful. Kendra W. came out to work on our house. I was on a business trip last week, so I was behind on my routine. Having moved into a new build over a year ago, I have a new challenge of keeping three floors and four bathrooms clean. But my nemesis continues to be the stairs and the baseboards. I asked Kendra to focus on those first, and if there was time, she could work on other things. The other hard-to-reach spot I asked if Kendra was able to clean were hard-to-reach window sills leading up to the third floor. I feel badly because I didn't get to clean up before Kendra came to clean (doesn't everyone do that?), but her cheerful attitude and dedication to doing a great job helped her make the time fly for her. My husband and I booked Alpine Maids to clean the ground-level floor and second-floor of our 1800 sq foot rental, which included two bedrooms and a bathroom and excluded the basement, second bathroom, and third bedroom. We were quoted $350 which was pricey but just in our price range, but the total came out to $430. We don't have pets and my husband and I clean once a month ourselves, so I know our home wasn't particularly grimy. The final cost was a shock to say the least. Even so, if they did an INCREDIBLE job, I wouldn't have complained. But they did a mediocre job cleaning the bathroom (I had to redo the clean myself), and they didn't clean the stovetop or exterior of the oven, even though I specifically called that out and even provided the right cleaning supplies for it (it's a glass stovetop and stainless steel exterior). I think for price + quality of the clean, this service let us down unfortunately. read more

My husband and I have used Alpine Maids for about 2.5 years, first at a townhome and now at a larger home. We have always been impressed by their professionalism and quality of work, especially when you consider that for the majority of the last two years they've had to work around two people working from home in different parts of the house. We just moved into another home and Viyan cleaned the entire thing herself and was incredibly thorough. We have friends who use other services that are slightly lower in cost, but we really feel like this is a premium service with top quality people and products. I signed up for an initial deep clean and the cleaning service was totally incompetent - hardly even a surface clean! These maids were lazy and literally completed a half done job. There were still stains in the sink, the stove was not clean. They only wiped around lamps and furniture on the desk, dog hair still visible on the carpets. Another team was sent out. They got the job done but were tired. I had cleaning service up in my work space for 8+ hours that day, it was very inconvenient. Ophelia spoke to me on the phone and told me she could get the fee waived for this terrible service ($300+ for my condo) - as I followed up with her via email, she changed her mind. I am completely flabbergasted that this company has this many good ratings. I hired them to clean my aunt's small apartment while she is in rehab. I paid more than $300 for two hours of cleaning. Other than some vacuum marks, the place looked and smelled like it hasn't been inhabited since 1960. Dust still covered many surfaces, sticky and smudge marks on the counters and other areas. I never asked what is used for cleaning supplies buy my best guess is that it's straight water. The sinks looked like they'd been wiped out at most. I've had cleaners for years and have never seen such a horrible, terrible job done by a service. I let management know of my unhappiness and they wanted proof (photos) of what I was talking about. They somewhat offered to make it right but I don't have the time to meet them back over there, let them in, wait and then lock everything back up. Lesson learned. Alpine Maids have been cleaning my house for almost three years now. I have always been happy with their services, but they have really exceeded my expectations in the last year. I have been impressed with how they have handled the pandemic and especially pleased with the work of one cleaner in particular: Tim! First, the pandemic. From the very start of the pandemic, the company has been very conscientious about stopping the spread of COVID-19. They have invested time and resources in special training for staff and even shut down for a few weeks voluntarily when new cases were skyrocketing. During this time, they were mindful to take care of their staff to ensure they didn't lose all their talented cleaners. All of this was communicated clearly with customers. I never felt nervous about having them in my home, even though I was pregnant and then had a newborn over the course of the last year. I knew they were doing everything possible to protect me and my brand new family. But the real reason I am writing this review is Tim! Tim is a cleaner that goes above and beyond with every single visit. After he cleans, our house doesn't just look clean, it looks new again. Actually, it looks newer than when we bought it! True story: the bathroom floor was a tan color when we bought the house, but we just realized the tiles are actually a creamy off-white color after Tim cleaned them! That's when I knew I had to sit down and write this review. It's not just Tim, though. We have had a lot of great cleaners with Alpine Maids, and honestly I think each time we get a new regular cleaner they are better than the last. We have had concerns about price/value ratio and have decided to look elsewhere for a cleaning service. This company has a strong leader and we have no major gripes about the service other than the stiff cost and strict time limits placed on the cleaners. We were paying Alpine 150% of what we paid other cleaners and not seeing a corresponding 150% better cleaning or time allotment for the cleaners, so time to move on. read more

I felt that having Alpine Maids was safe as they wore their masks and had gloves and booties on their feet. They did a great job. There were only a few things I would have them do next time that I didn't address and should have. Getting under a window seat pillow cushion for instance. My husband went to the basement to avoid them or outside and I did the same. It all worked out well and since they say they use sanitizers, I feel it was safe. Do you clean fans? i noticed that they did have long poled tools. I will have to check the check list. All in all, a good job! read more

Not horrible but far from 5 stars. Signed up for initial deep clean to bring my property's clean level up to "Alpine Maids standards". That's laughable on its face. Instead of removing everything from a counter, some counters were surfaced cleaned around items on the counter. Top of door jams not touched. Porcelain tile floor mopped but left streaky..... you're getting the idea. My home is a completely renovated property, everything new, easy cleaning job for sure. In my opinion, if a cleaning service can't get the basics down on the very first cleaning when they are trying to impress, you're better off moving on down the road. One thing they are excellent with is marketing and sending many email "reminders". By the time you've read all this hype you have a fairly high expectation. Less hype, more cleaning!!! read more

Terrible cleaning job. A friend got me a 'Deep Cleaning' as a thank you gift. When Jessica arrived I pointed out several items that I wanted to make sure got some attention. There were a couple of spots on the floor that needed a little extra scrubbing, as well as dust on top of the bedroom shades and the lamp in the bedroom. With pets, the dust and hair tend to accumulate. I gave Jessica my phone number and asked her to text me when they were done cleaning. After 5 hours, I hadn't heard anything and decided to head home to extreme disappointment. None of the things I pointed out were taken care of. I can't even say that this was a good surface clean. The bedroom lamp and shades had not been dusted, the top of the door jambs were not touched and nothing had been moved to wipe down shelves. The top of framed wall art had not been dusted and the spots I mentioned on the wood floors were still dirty. It looked like they did a quick clean of two bathrooms, a light floor mop and left. No furniture had been moved to clean behind, the litter box had not been moved to vacuum, downstairs bedroom was not vacuumed and the inside of the fireplace doors were not clean. It looks like about a 2 hour job of surface cleaning the bathrooms and quick mop then they were out the door. Definitely not a 5 hour/ $500+ 'Deep Clean' Extremely disappointing, would not recommend. Update: I am revising my review because of the excellent response from Alpine Maids management regarding my dissatisfaction with the services I received. Maggie from Alpine Maids reached out to me and was very apologetic about the service I received & even sent flowers. I think that I just happened to get a crew that was not up to Alpine Maids standards. Maggie offered to have a different crew come back to re-do the cleaning. Alpine Maids is definitely living up to their commitment to 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' and I do believe they will make things sparking on a return visit. read more

I knew going into the cleaning that my house would be a bit of a beast. This was our first professional cleaning in a cluttered space. Lexi and Jen were super sweet, and attacked the house with no hesitation. They made the most of every minute they were here, and made a huge difference! Our bathrooms sparkled. I'm always a little nervous when someone new is in my space, and leaving strangers in your house alone can be uncomfortable. Jen and Lexi set immediately set me at ease. Trust is so important! I hired Alpine Maids to do a move-out clean for my apartment, and I'm very glad I chose to do so. The booking process was very user-friendly and I love that they confirmed the booking with me immediately. The staff who cleaned my apartment were extremely polite, professional and thorough.
