Color Me Mine is a fantastic place to bring our family. Our grandkids love it and have won ribbons at the fair with their art. My husband and I made flower pots from clay and painted them with glaze. The kids have made holiday and character art. They went to the kids summer art camp and had a ball. The staff there is the best! They have taught us so much! It's a relaxing and fun-filled hobby that has become one of our favorite activities. read more

Such a well Sunday funday for our family ! The girls that were working were very welcoming & attentive ! read more

Typically my experience at color me mine is great, last night though was different. I completely understand having fun banter with your coworkers, though the staff was very inattentive to customers (I.e.checking on if paint needs to be refilled, water needs to be changed out). Also the music at times was inappropriate for kids. One song saying the f word and "you make me want to kill myself" multiple times. Also the staff would be hanging out in the party room section rather than focusing on customers. Since I come often, I knew my way around getting things rather than depending on the staff. It was still a decent experience, and I'll come back. I wasn't even going to write a review because this is the first time experiencing unprofessional behavior at color me mine until I got the text asking to give a review. read more

The girls working on 7.12.26 were so friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they got for us or let us know where to find it. They are good at anticipating needs. There was an item out of stock and they let the manager know to reorder the item. I look forward to coming back to paint a small birthday cake plate! read more

Love color me mine! Perfect peaceful way to spend some time being creative. The staff is so helpful and kind. We will be back.

Such a fun and peaceful activity to do with kids or other adults or even by yourself. I took my 2 year old nephew and my 8 year old daughter and it was a blast! Was my nephew a natural? No it was definitely some work to get him to understand but we still truly enjoyed it. Heads up though it is on the pricier side I did not see anything less than 20 the cheapest I saw was a mug for 23 all together with fees they charge I paid 140 for three products. Pretty pricey but good for a special occasion! The ladies helping us were on top of it they were refilling everyone's paints and were very patient. They cleaned our brushes and replaced our filthy water with clean water. I wish it was more affordable because I would come back over and over. read more

Enjoyable good service highly recommend Service was fast the ladies we're nice . Had alot of pieces to choose from . Prices little high but not too bad read more

We stopped by here when we're driving from Las Vegas Central California. It gave my kids something to do after being in the car for so many hours. But I won't lie that I was really shocked by the prices of the pieces! I remember doing this when I was younger and there were $10 pieces available for people who are really just there for the experience and wanted something small to paint. But the cheapest item I found at this location was $23! My kids ended up both picking up piggy bank that was about $29 each and we had to pay $10 for each child as a studio fee to actually paint. My kids are three years old and six years old so after they walked in and we told them already, it was hard to explain that we might not be able to paint because it was going to be so expensive! So my husband, I just decided to let them paint and think of it as something that is a reward for them sitting in the car for so long. But it ended up costing us over $80 for about an hour worth of painting!!! Pretty expensive. That is my main issue with it and the reason why we probably wouldn't go back. I wouldn't have minded letting them paint a $10 pencil holder or something to have to pay over $30 for each kid to paint and take a piece home with a little expensive. But the service was really good and the studio was clean. I kids needed a refill on the paints a lot, and they were always there to help. We also needed our order to be rushed because we were going to be coming back through Bakersfield earlier than seven days. They were able to finish it in time and fired up so we could take it home and not have to worry about coming back to hometown and finding color mine and paying three dollars to get it fired at our location. That was a definite plus, and we were very happy with that service. So if you're in the area, it is a fun activity, and the pieces are nice, but just be ready to spend some money! You also have to tip the people in the studio so that is also wide ended up being almost $100 for us to get to piggy bank for my kids!! read more

Color Me Mine - Mushroom salt and pepper shakers - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Bakersfield, California

This place is so fun. Very friendly staff, and super fun activities. The prices are perfect as well.

It was easy to make a reservation online, and the staff had our table set up early. My granddaughter and I appreciated the large selection of ceramic items, and the process for choosing our paints. The whole experience was enjoyable! read more

Team was awesome & extremely helpful! They were able to squeeze us in and made the whole process easy!

Took my daughter to color me mine this afternoon. Never been there before. They were very friendly and helpful. They had a good selection of items for sale to purchase and paint, although the prices were a bit expensive for me. Yes, I am going back to finish the project we started. A 5 year old doesn't have that much patience to finish at one sitting. There is also a studio fee, which surprised me and if you don't finish the project when you started as it is for us, we are going to have to pay an additional studio fee at half price I was informed. read more

Staff was amazing, friendly and courteous. They also kept checking on us to see if we needed more paint!

It's a great place to take the kids or just go yourself and create something wonderful! Everyone is Very helpful and caring!

We went for Mother's Day and had a great time. None of us are creative but it was a great experience and overall a great memory! The staff was much attentive and helpful! read more

Fun activity for the whole family. They have a great selection of pottery items to paint for every occasion. The staff is helpful and friendly. read more

This place is awesome! You can pick any of the pottery on the shelf and the price will be on the bottom. Each piece ranges from $30-$40 roughly some or less in the $20s. Once you choose your pottery piece and pay you are seated at a table and it's like having a waitress wait on you with pink colors and brushes. I recommend calling first to reserve a table bc sometimes the tables are filled. A workaround as the tables are all filled as you can get it to go and I'll give you all your paint colors and brushes, and you can sit out outside at one of the tables. They don't tell you this trick. When you paint the pottery, it may look dull, but once it's fired, it's amazing with bright vivid colors! You can pick up your pottery piece in seven days. read more

Color Me Mine - The little one having a blast painting her unicorn. - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Very nice local Art Studio, you can try your brush on a canvas or some pottery. If your really feeling artistic you can make and paint your own pottery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer different activities and classes for the kids and adults. Our favorite offering is once a month in Fridays they do a kids night out (aka date night for mom & dad) they get pizza delivered, provide an art project and a movie. All while supervising and assisting the kids. 2 hours of education & entertainment for around $30. read more

This place is not very friendly or helpful. The attitude We got was like you're on your own. You would think that at their prices their customer service would be better. It takes 2 weeks to get your ceramic paintings, they don't even call you to tell you when it's ready. We were not happy at all. Doubt we'll ever go back. read more

My daughter and I spent one afternoon painting here and the staff was so helpful when we needed help. We could stay as long as we needed to paint and chat. What a relaxing way to spend the day read more

I brought my five year old daughter to Color Me Mine in Bakersfield for the first time as a walk in. Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. She explained in details the painting process and made my daughter feel comfortable. my daughter chose a cat to paint and the lady helping assisted my daughter with her multiple needs. My daughter asked for different materials such as: stencils, different writing pens and brushes. Customer service was excellent as she asked if we needed anything or help. This location is clean, organized and there is many options to choose from. I would highly recommend this location to family, friends and solo painters. read more

Today was my first time here and I was overwhelmed not going to lie. I went with my 3 year old and Reanna, (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) was extremely helpful and made my experience the best. Hands down would come again. If it wasn't for her I would have maybe given 3 stars because this was pricey but her customer service and helpfulness was very appreciated and really made my day. We thank you for the Cat! read more

Buyer beware! Should be zero stars. Be careful with this Color Me Mine. I spent over $150 on items for my kids to paint. They said they were busy and pickup was three weeks out. When I went to pick my items up they had thrown them out. They claimed they tried to call to remind me, but had no record of it. They said there was nothing they would do to fix their actions. I will never go back there. read more

Great place, gives your kids an opportunity to express there minds through art. Also great selection for kids and adults.

This place was a lot of fun! However it is pricey. They have a lot of seasonal options to choose from like pumpkins in preparation for fall, as well as classic mugs, plates, charcuterie boards, animals, and other home decor places. The employees working there were friendly and helpful with how to go about painting some of our pieces. This is a fun activity for anyone of all ages looking for something creative to do! read more
