I hired Manny to be the DJ for my birthday party not knowing if the music was going to be good or…read morebad. I was really surprised and impressed by his set and his music selection. At first people weren't dancing simply because they were still enjoying the food. The music was still good while it played in the background and made you want to take those shots at the bar early in the day. As soon as he started to play some bangers that's when people quickly jumped out of their seat and hit the dance floor with no hesitation, and just like that we had a party. The party had all types of music such as Reggaeton, Top 40's, Rock en Español, Cumbias, Salsa, 80's and Hip-Hop. What I really liked was that the dance floor was never empty which means the music was good and people were having fun. I would definitely recommend Manny for all your upcoming events. I would also book him again for my next event. I give Manny 5 starts because they were well earned. He showed up way earlier than expected, set up quickly and even started playing before scheduled. Not to mention his set up was great and definitely gave the party a different vibe with the light show he provided. Thanks again Manny!!

We also got the fathead "Turn Up" show which was a huge hit with the teenagers and adults. Lastly, his lighting and monograms were the perfect touch that brought the space to life. Would definitely recommend DJ Manny to all my friends and family and look forward to working with him again.

I was instantly pulled in by her personable (non robotic) emails and communication skills. She's so easy to get along with and was so helpful. I love that she understood my vision and her joy for weddings is refreshing. Even though I hired her for just the day of, she always communicated with me and remained updated with all the wedding details. I knew I could always trust her and knew she understood my vision. Aileen and her team handled everything seamlessly on the day of the wedding. They were all very nice and professional and a joy to work with. Aileen makes sure that her brides are always happy! Hiring Blu Events was definitely one of the best purchases we made!!

Aileen would spend many late nights answering my concerns or making exceptional recommendations to bring my visions of my wedding day to life. When I walked into the reception area for the first time at the Villa Verano Estate, I had tears in my eyes and I was literally speechless. From the flowers to the lighting to the table cloths and all the rentals, our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. A special thanks to her team on the actual wedding day because they were absolutely amazing and it went off seamlessly. Her and her team were by my side the entire wedding day constantly assuring me that everything was on track and going as planned, which I didn't particularly see but appreciated so much because I wasn't bothered with one thing. Aileen and her team anticipated what I needed before I even knew that I needed anything. We owe so much of our beautiful wedding day to Aileen! We couldn't have asked for a better coordinator in all parts of the process. She went above and beyond all of the responsibilities in the contract, and you can tell she really loves what she does. Early on in the process, we had already planned some of the wedding ourselves but we didn't have a very cohesive idea for the design side of our wedding. Aileen took the photos we'd saved of things we liked and our thoughts on what atmosphere we were going for and she created a digital design board for us. Her design board included our color palette, layout ideas, and design ideas for every aspect of our wedding from start to finish. It brought all of our ideas together with new ones into one cohesive, beautiful vision. If I could do one thing different it would be that I had found her sooner in the planning process. Thank you again Aileen for taking my childhood fairy tale and making it a reality. -Ashley H.

NOT AS ADVERTISED. Dangerous, Disorganized, and a Complete Rip-Off…read more I genuinely cannot believe this is an attraction being sold to the public. Hallways of Horror was advertised as a haunted house experience, but what we actually encountered was an incredibly disorganized, underwhelming attraction with some seriously questionable safety practices. First, there was absolutely no coherent storyline or sense of immersion. Rather than allowing guests to explore and experience the haunted house naturally, an employee quite literally WALKED US through the attraction, telling us verbatim where to go, what to do, and how to complete each objective. Any supposed scavenger hunt element was completely pointless because we were essentially handed every answer. The final objective was an absolute joke. There was no suspense, no meaningful challenge, and virtually nothing resembling the experience advertised. The physical condition of the attraction was even more concerning. Escape room props and equipment were scattered throughout nearly pitch-black areas, creating significant tripping hazards. It would have been incredibly easy to fall, injure yourself, or accidentally break equipment that you couldn't even see. This was not intentional horror-themed set design. It was a poorly organized environment with very real safety concerns. But the most alarming part? Employees were operating what appeared to be a gas-powered chainsaw and directing the exhaust toward our faces. The following day, I began experiencing breathing issues. While I cannot definitively establish the cause, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. I take potential exposure to engine exhaust seriously, and this is a matter I intend to look into further. We were also chased outside in the rain, across wet surfaces, introducing yet another completely unnecessary slipping and falling hazard. There is a difference between frightening guests and putting them in potentially dangerous situations. I do want to give credit where it's due: SOME of the scare actors genuinely seemed to be doing their best with what they had to work with. A few put real effort into their performances and deserve recognition for that. Unfortunately, even enthusiastic actors can only do so much when the overall attraction lacks direction, organization, and proper execution. My criticism is primarily directed at the experience being sold and the decisions behind its operation, not the individuals who were clearly trying to make the best of it. After this experience, I decided to research reviews of the company's other locations to see whether we had simply caught them on a bad night. Unfortunately, I came across other customers describing similarly disappointing experiences. My concerns do not appear to be entirely unique. The entire attraction felt like a collection of leftover escape room props thrown together in the dark, with employees improvising their way through the experience. No meaningful storyline, no proper execution, and certainly nothing that justified the price of admission. What frustrates me most is the enormous difference between what this company advertises and what customers actually receive. In my opinion, the experience is a complete rip-off. I find it difficult to believe that management could be entirely unaware of the condition and quality of the attraction being offered. I strongly recommend saving your money and going elsewhere. A disappointing haunted house is one thing. An attraction that raises legitimate questions about guest safety, particularly regarding potential exhaust exposure and physical hazards, is something entirely different. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, because some of what we experienced warrants far more than a generic apology or a complimentary return visit. Hallways of Horror? More like Hallways of Hazards.
