To have a fun place to come, away from the city with so many different activities, is a blessing for the participants. The setting is nestled in a scenic piece of valley along Lake Hughes Road. We went up to the camp for the day last Saturday to be part of a tribute for a nurse who's retiring. We had previously participated ten years ago, staying for the whole weekend. A myriad of activity venues include an impressive and extensive ropes facility, large swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court, go-cart area, hiking trails, arts & crafts building, baseball diamond, soccer field, and more. During camp they offer scuba lessons, massages, campfire entertainment, and other options for all ages. A large dining hall makes for mealtime togetherness. Pingpong tables and other indoor games are under the same roof, but in a separate room. The sleeping accommodations are mostly home-style bunk bed rooms holding about 8 people. Shared bathroom with shower for each room. As I recall, they had a few family units, but otherwise the rooms are segregated by gender to make the most of the space. At under 90 minutes to get from Simi Valley to this great venue for outdoor fun and adventure, it's a hit. It has a homey, homemade kind of vibe. Glad we went up for the day to enjoy the whole atmosphere. That's what fresh air smells like. ;-) There are some attractive yurts on the property now. Am not sure if they're for staff. Didn't get a chance to ask.

He also didn't want to go on the last day I think there's was an activity he didn't want to participate in but he never said. They also were great with insuring kids used their sunscreen and drank their water. It was pretty pricey for 1 week but then everything is nowadays. All in all he had a great time and impressed himself by performing the challenges they had for them and I'm very grateful for that! Would have given 5 stars if not for long lines to eat and evidently not kid friendly food/lunch.

The options are customized to your preferences. The girls gravitated to the culinary arts while the boys were interested in building the super fun robot options, both girls and boys were into the fun of making "slime". There was no down time for the kids as there was always something to do to keep their attention. Rigatoni and Robots was super clean (sanitary), super organized, the staff was amazing and friendly - great for all guests, young and old. Highly recommend and look forward to signing my daughter up for the monthly membership.

Although this is a wonderful program for children, there have been many issues within the workplace…read morethat I personally have experienced. I think it's fair to share with all past/current members that the you've been fed false information... These issues include: * Promises that cannot be made * Workers have to ensure no projects are broken as there are no backups * Inventory leaves no space or time for errors * Inventory is almost never sufficient, so workers are frantic * The children are rushed through lessons, instead of a 45min rotation as parents are told * Most of the time, teachers are completing the projects for the student * Overall unpreparedness/unorganization on the owner's part * Literally a sweatshop * The owner displays inappropriate behavior in front of members' children * Each of her employees are NOT background checked (this, I know to be true). I can confirm that 8 of her employees were never fingerprinted, myself included * She denied her employees 10min breaks (which is required by CA law) when asked * Her payroll has failed to be paid out to her emloyees as a business owner. When 7/8 of your employees refused to work under these conditions, you have to question what/who the real problem is. * When payroll is delayed, we (the workers) are made to feel guilty about the ownerms financial issues, yet she's out on vacations and throwing the responsibilities on the employees. * When problems arise and need to call, she does not pick up the phone
