Referred to this local famous pizza joint. Fast & casual: Order at counter & sit down & foods brought out to you. Guy at counter was gruff at 1st but had quirky sense of humor as he comes around frequently checking on you & cracking jokes. Rustic feel w/ old antique decor & lotsa wood. Good classic music too. Hot food came out fast - just as salads were done. Mac & cheese pizza - daughter loved. My BBQ chicken pizza was pretty good. Lotsa toppings. Spaghetti & meatballs were also enjoyed w/ the best breadsticks (long twisty ones). Side salads were huge - we coulda shared one. Drink station in middle affords free refills. Good value too for portions. read more

would not recommend! Ordered food two hours ago still have not received food from delivery. Have called store several times and was told by a man on the phone that "we have been very busy tonight you can either cancel the order Or just deal with it". I was not allowed to speak to management either that I asked for several times. I have been here several times with no issues. I will not ever order from here again and I recommend if you want your food in a timely manner that you don't eat there as well. It is not worth 2 hour wait! read more

Fairly good pizza, not exceptional but a little better than your avg. small town pizza place. Don't get the wings. Soggy, *Zero* attempt to make them even a little crispy, also expensive for the amount you got. If in the area, sure stop in, just don't drive out of your way for it. read more

Great pizza, small space to eat with a large party, but they are always willing to accommodate. Meat lovers and BLT are some of my family's favorites, to name a few. read more

Lady time I got a take out order it was really bad. Old lettuce, missing ingredients, I was surprised, because I have always felt the salads were fresh and full. read more

Listen we're from Jersey, so the standard for pizza is pretty high. However, it got the job done. Flavor was good, crust was nice. But... it was the bbq chicken pizza that stole my heart. Mmmmmm! Delicious even leftover. Town is quaint and service was nice and this is a nice sentimental stop for our family. Our Jersey kids thought the pizza being cut into squares was quite funny. read more

Finally got a chance to stop in and get pizza a few weeks ago. The other two time we stopped, the place was packed, and so busy we were too busy to wait. Pizza is worth the drive to Cedarville, dough is chewy and had a good bit. I was disappointed with the antipasta salad, I would like a little more meat, cheese on it, and a nicer visual presentation (check out my review of Venecia Italian restaurant) We will defiantly come back, and we have learned to order ahead, and they will likely be packed or busy most of the time. read more

Classic small town pizza place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pizza is always delicious!

Alright the food was amazing! Perfect crust! I mean you wanted to eat it all, the sauce so much flavor. Everything you would want when it a local small town pizza place. Atmosphere was great. The servers were nice and quick! Highly recommend! read more

Person taking order didn't know how to use the register. Waited 40 minutes, still no pizza. Several people had the same issue and went to the register wanting to know why the wait. They weren't that busy either. No apologies. read more

Very good pizza I recommend . The place is very nice , well maintained, decoration is country still, handicap accesible and pet friendly. read more

First time here and found almost everything we tried was good. We arrived before it got crazy with dine in and carry out. We tried the pizza, two different subs, potato skins and mozzarella sticks. The pizza is a hand tossed crust with great flavor, the sauce is a sweet sauce. The only thing we tried that we didn't like was the mozzarella sticks they were baked and not long enough for the cheese to get hot and melted. read more

Coming from someone that works at a pizza place I was reluctant to try this place, but my buddy wanted me to go. I'm glad I did... one of the best places I could have stopped at. The pizza had the freshest toppings in the area, and there was a generous amount of sauce. The wings were as large as my hand and cooked to perfection. Any time I'm in the area I will be returning here.... It's my new favorite read more

We have been long time customers. Colonial is expensive so we do not order often. We just ordered this evening to support a fundraising event. We got an 18" BLT pizza. It was inedible. It tasted like bacon bits piled on crust. The bacon bits were held together with cheese and kept falling off of the crust. There was way too much "bacon" on it and it was teeny tiny crumbles. I'm positive it was bacon bits or bacon cooked in bulk one day a week, chopped up and refrigerated. $30 bucks down the drain because we couldn't even chew it! Colonial used to have nice large chunks of bacon on the pizza- not teeny crumbles of dry unchewable bits. I left my review at 4 stars because one bad experience doesn't mean I'll knock off more than one star. We will not be ordering any time in the near future, though read more

Good pizza. I could have ordered better, perhaps. We ordered 2 large pizzas, One more traditional and one without meat and low dairy. The regular pizza was as expected. Eaten quickly by teens. The veggie pizza was unremarkable... now... maybe I should have tried harder to find out if there were other veggies I could have added... like banana peppers or jalapeño peppers, more bell peppers or whatever, but as is, it was a bit boring. But- that may have been my fault! My recommendation- give it a try! But if you want a veggie pizza- try to see what additional veggies you can add to flavor it up. As for advice to the business, I would suggest to try hard to feed your plant based customers well- lots of veggies on veggie pizza- because those plant based eaters might be the mom who pays the bill. I'll try this again in the near future- and advocate for more veggies when I place my order. Thank you to colonial for making our dinner on a busy day! read more

Best pizza ever!! I love the crust, chewy but a little crispy. Love the dining room, very eclectic feel. Great baked goods, and breadsticks. We stopped by on a trip through town. The restaurant was very cozy inside. It was Friday night and the phone was ringing off the hook for carry out orders. The daily special was a one topping 18 inch pizza and a basket of cheese covered breadsticks. The breadsticks came out really fast and they were delicious. The pizza came out just as we finished the breadsticks, so perfect timing. The pizza was huge and our family of four could only eat half of it! This restaurant was keeping up all of the COVID restrictions- seating spaced apart, wiping everything down and mask wearing. I highly recommend this place! read more

This place is a hidden gem. The food is great! The wings are one of the best around. The pizza is amazing. My only complaint is that they have done away with their online ordering. They updated their menu with new pricing and the online ordering went away. Online ordering capabilities are essential and critical in todays market. They could be making so much more money. The ambiance is quite unique. I believe this was an old train station so it's very nostalgic. I highly recommend at least trying this place. read more

Nice decorated walls with laminated newspapers from decades ago, tv show posters, arts, etc. even the restroom was pretty cozy and decorated with art. But despite all that i didn't quite enjoyed their margarita and olive pizza. It was quite bland and generic. Or may be the ones I ordered were like that. I don't know. Otherwise it's well decorated place, interiorly. read more

Not much to choose from when visiting this part of Ohio but Colonial Pizza was a "college campus" suggestion. The place was a bit divey which lead me to believe that this pizza just my have a shot with me. Nothing really special about the Franks Red Hot chicken wings but those garlic Parmesan wings was on point the thin crust sausage and pep had just the right amount of sauce and the garlic butter that I slathered on the pizza crust and cheese bread was delicious. The steak sandwich was decent but that chicken bacon tach sandwich was slamming. AND NO I DIDNT EAT ALONE! anytime I'm back this way it's a pretty chill place to grab a pizza only thing I hated was walking out without grabbing a slice of that Oreo pie and a couple slices of that Turtle pie DAMN DAMN DAMN !!!! read more

Colonial Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Cedarville, Ohio

We placed an online order for pickup, two pizza's, one pepperoni and one chicken alfredo pizza, and an Asian salad. When we came in to pick it up, we were accused by the manager of having beer in our coffee cups and questioned several times about it while we waited to pick up our order. Then we received food that was not made as expected. The website states that the chicken alfredo pizza comes with chicken, Alfredo sauce, bacon, onions, and cheese, but our pizza only had chicken, cheese, and sauce. The website also states that the Asian salad comes with spring mix, red cabbage, craisins, almonds, rice noodles, chicken and Asian dressing. Our salad was made with iceberg lettuce instead of spring mix and came with raspberry dressing instead of Asian dressing. Since we were visiting from out of town, there was no way to have our order corrected. But when we called in to let them know our order was wrong, we were met with a rude response from the owners son that our order wasn't made incorrectly, but that the website was incorrect and they apparently are not responsible for what their website says. We will not be eating at this restaurant again. read more

Pizza was very good; I like the square cut. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere makes you feel cozy.

Stopped here on a ride, it's just a couple blocks off the bike trail. Nice place with all the sports pics and other memorabilia on walls, clean, and the staff were pleasant. Had the Saturday Special which was a salad, garlic bread and a drink which all hit the spot and came to less than $5. read more

I ordered the Margherita pizza. Barely any cheese and way to much tomato. The bottom crust was still raw. With the COVID rules, they lock you out the back patio so you can't go back in the back door. Instead, you have to go all the way around. If I go back,I think I'll just stick with a plain cheese pizza. read more

Carry out only -no dine in due to COVID. Pizza was excellent - very fresh and hot. Would definitely eat here again.

If we're talking best pizza in town, Colonial's the place. It's also the only place. They have solid pizza and sub's. The menu has a lot of good choices and they have good hours. If you're looking for a good place to eat for dinner, colonial is a solid choice. It's not the delicous thin crust east coast pizza I've become accustomed to, but for an Ohio pizza joint it's not bad. They also have Pepsi, which we all know is the inferior cola. Overall a solid choice for food in the 'ville! read more

Considering it's in the middle of the corn fields it's a good pizza joint, although it's priced a little higher as there is no competition.

Not a bad pizza shop, but there aren't too many food options in this college town. Their wings are good & so is their spicy hot sauce pizza.

Visiting in town. Realize businesses may have altered hours for Labor Day so called ahead. Message said were open till 11. At 930 we're closed. Bush league. And very disappointing. We actually stayed in Cedarville b/c we had been very happy with the pizza on a previous visit. Maybe our first and last. Will look for a different town and a different pizza next time. read more
