I stumbled across these guys and they are really good. My truck got damaged and the tail gate was put of alignment. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money fixing it and expressed this to them. They took a look at it and told me that they could bang everything back into alignment for $100. They told me that this wouldn't fix the scratches on the gate but everything would be functional. When I bought my Charger SP, the lip/spoiler had a crack from the previous owner which I believe happened driving over a parking stop and when they reversed, it caught on the lip and pulled that caused a crack on one of the screw/rivet points. I tried to ignore it, but it bothered me. Fast forward to me Yelping and discovering Bumper Doc with Eddie and his team. I sent a message on Yelp and had a response promptly. I took my car in and Eddie was straight forward on the price and the process. I didn't think it would be a possible fix, but he said it was it was no problem. Dropped it off and was able to pick it up within a couple days. Looked great with a fresh paint job around the area and clear coat. Eddie told me they were able to re-enforce the area so it would be to be more rigid if driven over parking stops or dips. Luckily I back into parking spots so I should be good. A bullet hole went through my bumper and came out the other side. I took the car to Fix it Auto and Bumper Doc. The difference in quality and customer service was like night and day. Fix it Auto had an individual that never worked on cars give me a rough estimate for doing a poor patch work job and told me to leave the keys in the office. Bumper Doc worked with the Manufacturer and Insurance company to replace the bumper and fix the damage to the sheet metal and inner panel. The level of quality was so different it was my opinion that Fix It works for the insurance company, not the customer. You know how to tell if a business is a great one? When the owner helps you out for over an hour, fully knowing he will not be receiving a dime... Phillip at BumperDoc is awesome! Emailed Phillip some photos of my mustang's busted rear tail light/trunk bumper. Let him know that I was getting rid of the vehicle and didn't want to spend a lot of money fixing the light/bumper. Phillip emailed me back quickly, letting me know I could save over $200 by purchasing the new tail light myself online. (Awesome points #1) Which I did. Took the new tail light to Phil and BumperDoc, and he informed me that the one I had ordered would not work correctly for my mustang. After a few inspections... Phillip called over a different mechanic, who grabbed a flashlight and started looking to see if my fuses were in working order. (Awesome points #2) Once he determined they were, Phillip had narrowed down the problem. He concluded that the wiring that connects the brake lights and the pedal must be worn. He then referred me next door, to Midas, and had me ask for his buddy Tony, and said to say that he had sent me over. (Awesome points #3) Told Tony the issue, and the people at Midas fixed the line at no charge.... At Midas. A separate business... at no charge. Needless to say, I threw the guy a $20 for the quick 5-minute re-wiring and immediately went back to BumperDoc to show Phillip and give him a sincere thanks. Over an hour of interaction with Phillip, and he called 2 other mechanics over to help, and did not ask for a dime from me. Phil is a solid guy! I walked in last month after being rear ended which caused me such a great inconvenience since I was leaving the country. Phil wrote me up a quote after carefully observing the damages in my car. I didn't have time to get anything done but as soon as I returned, I was surprised to see he remembered me after being gone for awhile (that place can get really busy and I wouldn't doubt a lot of faces come through that door everyday). My car had a back bumper that needed repainting. When I got it back, it had uneven gloss that was very noticeable. I was told quote, "Oh, I spilled a little too much sealer/gloss on it. I was told to bring it back and it would be buffed out. Why?? SLOPPY WORK!!! I took it to another body shop and had it done right. The employees were nice, but must have been in training. Unfortunately we had to visit Eddie twice within a months time. The first time, we drove into a short pylon in a parking lot, damaging the front bumper and not a month later, someone backed in to the car at Fashion Valley Mall, again the front bumper. Ugh. For the first accident, Eddie gave us a fair estimate and did everything he could to keep costs down and get our car back to us ASAP because we didn't turn it in to our insurance company. Yesterday, got into my first accident in 10 years. Hit another car and my front left bumper was smashed in. Pretty devasated. Luckily, no one was injured and the other car barely had a scratch. I heard of BumperDoc before when I was looking to get a chip fixed in my windshield...but never brought in to fix. Drove here this morning and was greeted by Phillip, the GM. He came across very friendly and you can definitely tell that he loves his job. His customer service was unparallel. He looked at my car and gave me a beyond reasonable quote to have this huge dent fixed. Not only that, but he was able to fix it on the spot....including the windshield chip that I never repaired. However I knew from the volume of cars in the work bays that these guys know what they're doing. I had complete confidence. They waited for the glass for the glass to cool down and went to work. No, to refresh your memory Sir, your shop did not remove the molding around my window the first time they painted my car, they painted OVER the molding. How lazy is that? The second time I took it back and pointed it out it was not fixed. THEN after pointing it out THREE effing times, you ordered new molding, and according to your shop, that is why you needed to keep my car an extra 5 days....because it was coming from LA or something. But it was still not fixed. Bottom line is, your shop did the most horrific work on my car, not once, not twice , and not even three times, but on the fourth try it still was not satisfactory. I was very polite and patient and you did not come through on your promises. Why don't you comment about that. read more

Called yesterday and assistant manager Philip gave me a quote of $375 to paint my bumper. I show up today and he makes me wait 10 minutes to help me out as he is B.S.ing with another co-worker about non work related stuff. Finally he decides to help me and he slowly takes my information on the computer. He's whole demeanor was sarcastic from the gecko and as if he's doing me a favor rather than being a new paying customer. He tried to charge me $500 rather than the $375. After taking my information on the computer, he left me without saying anything and I saw him calling other customers on the phone about picking up their vehicles. I spent a total of 20 minutes, really not being helped and pushed to the side. If this is how they treat new customers, then they don't deserve my business. I left with my bumper, cash, time and going somewhere else. read more

Got in on the $125 Tint Groupon also. Took a while, but finally brought my car in. The lady at the counter ( forget her name sorry!), was very nice and guided me through choosing a nice shade of tint. They do tell you which shades are legal, but they'll put whatever you want onto the car. They gave me good advice on which shades look nice, and got right to work on the car. I got there around 7:30. I was out by about 11. I was able to wait in their reception area, so it wasn't that bad. There was free wifi and coffee. The Original Pancake House is right across the street and quite a few people dropped off their cars and went for breakfast. Service was awesome and the tint itself looks good. When I first drove off the lot, I was a little annoyed because it looked like the tint wasn't on very good. I could see little little artifacts on the tint. I decided to wait until the next day, to see if they would go away. By the next day they were gone, I guess it was the glue still drying. Would go back again for my tinting needs. read more
