They were recommended to me by Post Oak Motor Cars to fix a small paint problem with the passenger side door. They said it would cost $6,700 to correct the problem and no guarantees due to some previous minor bodywork that had been done, this was a killer for me. I took it to Bill Fogle #3 and $2,700 for the same work, the manager Gavin said the initial work was poor, but there was no problem and they guaranteed the job 100%. The paint matched perfectly (no small task on a Rolls-Royce) and the job was done right the first time. A large metal panel under the engine compartment came loose and was scraping the street. I tied it up with a piece of wire and went to Collision Plus because it was the closest body shop to my house. Sam looked at it as best he could in the driveway, looked up the parts and gave me an estimate. He said it might be somewhat higher if more parts were required, but it was hard to tell. I was called a couple of days later and told that more parts were needed. It took a few days for the parts to arrive but I had the use of my wife's car. I asked if he could show me what work was done, since it wasn't visible without lifting the car. A few days later he called and said the lift was available, so the car was put on the lift and Sam showed me the metal and plastic parts that were replaced. This wasn't a typical collision repair that required straightening dents and painting, only the replacement of parts I probably damaged by driving over too many parking lot concrete blocks. The price was reasonable and the work was satisfactory. I hope there won't be any more damage to the car, but I will definitely take it back to Collision Plus if there is. read more

I was in the unfortunate situation of being in 2 collisions within a 4 month period. Neither was my fault but anyway the first collision repairs were completed at an actual Tesla Repair Body shop. The front bumper and quarter panels were repaired. The 2nd time, my wife hit some road debris and once again the front bumper needed repair. During this time the Tesla body had closed due to COVID. I did some research and found Collision Plus. I met Sam and he immediately ask who had repaired the front bumper? He had noticed the paint was very slightly different. I couldn't tell until he explained what he saw, and then, I can see it also. He explained his process, gave me a tour of his garage and made me laugh. Update: Sam contacted me after this review and asked me to come back so that he could fix the issues below. I did bring back the car and he determined that the alignment was due to an out of spec fender. He contacted my insurance to get them to give me a new fender and had that one installed. He also repainted the hood since he agreed that it was not up to their standards and located all the remaining missing parts and had them installed. When the repairs were complete and I came to pick up the car there was an issue with the headlight not being fitted correctly. I had to wait an hour for the tech to return and fix it, but it was corrected. The only remaining item is the hood shifted after I left. The crazy weather likely has a part in this and Sam as guaranteed that it is covered and will be fixed. My schedule as not allowed me time to get this last item resolved, so this issue is on me. Original post: Horrible experience. I've taken my Audi twice to be repaired, but never again. Both times I ended up with the same horrible experience. Pro: car was eventually fixed, paint match was pretty good but quality and fitment was lacking. Cons: both times the car was completed past the original estimated date. First time two weeks over second time by 6 weeks! When I finally got a call that the car was ready I show up to find out that it actually wasn't ready for pickup and I had to come back! - parts were missing after being fixed both times and I had to go back to get them. The second time I was told to go somewhere else to go buy them myself get it and installed and bring them a bill. They tried to not to pay the bill after I did that saying they lost the receipt I sent in, but luckily I kept a copy. - both times there was heavy holograms in the clear coat that I had to take into a detailer to get a 2 stage paint correction. I figure a high end collision shop would at least compound and polish the paint properly. - after the car was taken home I got a call from my insurance saying that I requested a new bumper because the one installed was not acceptable, but I did no such thing. Not sure what that was about. - alignment of parts was poor. Bumper did not line up with quarter panel when received and the hood wouldn't even open it was so out of alignment. Had to make yet another trip back to get the hood was resolved but they would not do anything about the bumper. With so many positive reviews I figured this was a great repair shop. After my experience and noticing that none of the awards and certifications are recent I believe this once might have been a good repair shop but definitely not anymore. read more

I have an older vehicle that runs great, but had a bad paint job from an old minor fender bender. I brought it to Sam as a cash deal at a great price for a repaint, but even though there was "Lifetime Warranty" there was a price. If you keep your vehicle long term I'd suggest you request and upgrade the clear coat. Ask for proof of the brand purchased for the paintwork. Also, maybe take videos of your car getting waxed as I was declined a repaint stating that I should have been waxing the car. I take care of my cars, but from what other shops told me the base coat may not have been cured properly or the buffing wasn't done properly. Either way the clear is letting up and now I have to pay again for a repaint and deal with another shop after I was declined warranty work stating that acid rain caused the issue. I brought my Model S to be repaired here and Sam took great care of me. He is a perfectionist and will make sure he returns the car back to you in pristine condition. I could not even tell anything had been repaired. Yes, Tesla parts do sometimes take time to come in, but that is not his fault. Tesla is a new company and they simply do not have a backlog of inventory to repair their vehicles. All available parts basically go towards producing new vehicles. My experience with Collision Plus was pretty good. I had taken my 2007 Honda Civic in to have the hood replaced and bumper repainted after someone backed into me at a stop sign. They gave me an honest estimate and took my car in quickly. They set me up with a rental car from Enterprise and I was good to go. They told me the repairs would take 7-10 days to complete. The repair ended up taking three weeks to complete and this is where they lost a star for me. My insurance company was not to pleased with the repair time, but the end results were amazing! My car looks great and just as it was before the accident. They matched the paint perfectly and it looks good as new. They do great work and I'm sure it's usually done in a timely manner just not in my case. read more

The main person we dealt with was also pretty genuine and sincere, refreshing to deal with.
