They are a FULL service gas station! Yay! Remember these establishments where you could get your fluids checked and air in your tires? Well here's a place you can come for really good service!! I went today to put air in my tires and Timothy said "I can do that for you for free!" He also blew the leaves out from under the hood of my car and checked my oil and water. I am so very thankful to have this level of service in our neighborhood! They also work on AC, brakes, do oil changes and other automotive maintenance and repairs. read more

Dave did a diagnostic test on my granddaughter's 2017 Nissan Sentra after having some concern about noises after dealership did work on the front axle's and breaks. They did a thorough inspection and 3 different tech's did test drives. They found no concerns and said every thing was tight and safe to drive. That is great news to hear for a grandparent. I had my car serviced today at college park Sunoco. I had a tire patched and an oil change. They open at 8am and it's first come first served. They did a great job and work was done quickly. They had two suggestions (wiper blades and cabin air filter) for items that needed to be addressed but they weren't pushy at all and when I told them I needed to wait for finance reasons they were perfectly fine with that. This is a full service station and everyone there is so polite, friendly and knowledgeable. You feel like family here and not just a number at a large company. i highly recommend this station in college park. read more

Absolutely worst service. The manager is disrespectful and it is locally known this place is no good. Other repair shops have said this place offers terrible customer service and repair service in general. All they want is money and to scam their customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. My car left this place more messed up than it already was when I brought it in. After I told them It was their fault my car was having these issues, they attempted to manipulate me and make me think my car already had these "preexisting issues". I recently took my vehicle here to fix my brakes. I was told that I needed front brakes, rear brakes, and rotors replaced. I was also told that I needed all four tires replaced ( they said I was at 1/32 ), and an oil change ( I still have 50% oil life ). They wanted a ton of money to do all this. I agreed to let them do my rear brakes and rotors for over $500. The following week I took my vehicle to a coworker of mine who is also a mechanic. He told me that the front rotors will always go bad before the rear ones do. Since my front rotors were in good condition he said they should not have replaced the rear ones. He also confirmed that my oil and tires are fine. College Park Sunoco should have been honest with me, and only requested to do what was needed. I will never return and I will tell everyone that I know not to go there. read more

Not sure I'd call this place full service. It's more like slow and confused service. If you can wait a week they might be the place to go. Unfortunately I don't live in Mayberry in the 1960's. Been here 4 times, garage empty every time, and was told each time that it would be 4-5 days before they could get to me. Nothing crazy, wiper blades, patch a tire, recharge my A/C. Simple stuff. Now, I'm done. Today I went home and watched a you tube video for instructions on what to do and took care of it myself in 15min all while saving $80. I guess you could say them refusing my business was good since I fixed myself and saved the $$$. read more

This place was horrible. I explained that I didn't know much about cars and the manger I guess belittled me the whole time and was extremely rude the entire time. So at first they say I can't leave and come back in and hour I have to drop it off right now or wait until Monday. So I leave my car with them and they check it out. I get a call that this that and the other is all broken and there's not point in putting break pads in. These people wanted to 1500 dollars!!! He continued to be rude on the phone. I made a phone call to my dads personal mechanic and he said bring it up to him. Anyways I go back to get my car because I'm not paying 1500 dollars I don't have that kind of money. Anyways this guy explains what's wrong and then charges me damn near FIFTY DOLLARS FOR NOTHING. Anyways I finally got my car took it to my dads mechanic and ended up getting it fixed and it's running perfect driving perfect and coming to a complete without making a sound. Don't bring your car here and if you can avoid the guy in the blue shirt behind the desk he's extremely rude. read more

They're great in many ways, including being upfront about what needs to be fixed now and what can wait, which help keeps your out-of-pocket expenses down. Great local repair shop! They're always there for me with a quick diagnosis and super fair pricing! Most of the time they get me in the same day or at the latest, the very next morning. It's like having your Dad there to fix your car for you! Plus the staff is very nice and always very helpful! I can honestly say it's the first repair shop I've ever found that doesn't treat me like a "dumb girl that doesn't understand mechanical concepts" I mean I do have a degree in economics I can cipher! Plus if you live close by and have to drop off your car they'll give you a ride home! They've also done very well for a friend of mine by keeping her car running for almost 20 years! I have been going there for regular oil change for years. I used to give them 5 star, but I can definitely feel their Service Quality Drops. Last time I went there to tie back a rubber part at bottom of my car, it took only couple of mins and they charged me $50. However, after I drove away for about 20 min, that part falls again! This time I went there to have the some issue checked. They said it cost more than $1,000 to fix, then I went to dealer got a $507 quote. Kind of disappointed. read more

Don't go near!!! Had water pump replaced . The belt was so tight it killed the alternator. And now 2 months later the ( new) water pump has failed. These guys can't be trusted with the most basic repairs. If they offered free repairs for life I would decline . read more

We have been going to College Park Sunoco/Texaco for over 20 years. My last oil change was $31.90 just 6 months ago. Today it was $40.02, a 25% increase. Ford dealers only charge $29.95 and at least rotate your tires. Bob's does not. We do everything we can to support local College Park businesses, but I can no longer support this one. I did talk to Bob and he just said it is what it is!!!! Not very customer friendly. read more

I have always been pleased with the work on my vehicles here. However, there is an issue with employees calling off & being short staffed to service your vehicle. It appears there is an issue with staffing, that for me, resulted in very poor customer satisfaction. On 9/2/16, I made an appointment for repair for 9/9. On 9/9, i went to the station to drop off my vehicle, & was told too many employees had called off and there was not enough techs to do the work on my vehicle. So I rescheduled for 9/14, which i was told would be a better work day for them. I dropped my car off on 9/14 in the morning by 8:30 am. At 5:00 pm, I called for an update and was told that although 7 servicemen were scheduled for that day, only 2 were actually working. So, my vehicle sat throughout the day untouched. I also was not called to tell me that the work was not going to be done. Usually, someone can take you somewhere and pick you up as a nice courtesy on their part. Seth dropped me off at my office in the morning, but no one could pick me up from the station in the evening.There was not enough help to do so I was told. My family was unavailable, too. So, I had a nice walking exercise of 2 miles to pick up my vehicle which I would not recommend for those in poorer health. I suggest that, at least for now, i would stay away from the repair work at this station until they get their staffing issues resolved. Unfortunately, I do not know how long that could be. Sounds like it could be a while since the business has not had recent success finding qualified employees. And I don't know why scheduled employees are not coming to work, either..The only other thing that was disappointing for me was no remorse was communicated for the inconvenience created. No apologies were made; only excuses for the work not getting done. Again, there appears to be big problems internally with this service station that is affecting it's great reputation of customer service. read more
