I have to preface this review by saying I am extremely picky and cautious about having my hair cut. I made a bad hair decision about 15 years ago and I've been terrified ever since! I decided to take a risk and buy a groupon for a cut and highlights at Body Bliss Salon and Spa. Having expressed previous bad experiences and the fear of having my length cut off, the owner herself recommended one of her stylists. I was VERY impressed and happy! My husband gave me a gift certificate to Body Bliss for my birthday. I had a haircut by Sarah, and manicure and pedicure by Samantha on the same day. The salon and spa are both clean and have a soothing and pleasing decor. The employees are friendly and helpful. The owners are professional yet down-to-earth, making me feel comfortable and very welcome. The haircut is one of the best I have had and I have to say the same about the pedicure and maincure. I am really looking foward to my facial on Saturday. Amazingly their prices are very reasonable and it is right here in Wake Forest! . Body Bliss is now my go-to salon and spa! I grew up in my parents hair salon and have been spoiled with free professional cuts my entire life. I moved out of state to NC and was worried I would never find service equal to Mom and Dad. It's been over a year since I made Body Bliss my new salon, and I've been so happy with my haircut every single time. I had not slept in days due high workload and lots of stress. I went to Samantha for a massage and what an incredible relief! Went home and thanks to her expert techniques and working out the knots and pain in my neck and lower back I slept for 10 hours! I thoroughly enjoy going here because of the friendly warm staff and the quiet surroundings and the expertise of everyone there. I am a regular customer since the day they opened their doors, and I have to say it is the best of the best in this area. I've been to other spas-high dollar and chain spas-and hands down Body Bliss is the best. I get my hair done in the spa, then just go right to the spa side for spray tanning, pedi's, massage and/or manicures. It's my Saturday morning fix me up from a long work week. I can't praise Kelli enough for not only doing a fantastic job on coloring my hair but correcting what another stylist had done to my hair. The other stylist was supposed to cover my gray but missed a huge part of the back of my hair and I didn't even know it for weeks! Also they wanted to cut it like they wanted to & not the style I wanted. I was a walk -in client and just had a blow out by Kelli & I asked if should would color my hair and it is awesome! Warm and welcoming salon, but my hair stylist Mica is what made me go ahead and schedule my next appointment after my first visit. She was absolutely wonderful, sweet, and took time to speak with me and make sure I got exactly what I wanted, even though it was just a dry hair cut. No one has ever taken the time to talk to me about my hair or taken the time cutting my hair like she did. AND the prices are good too! Don't hesitate. When I moved to WF I had tried out so many salons and barbershops and was really let down. I struggled finding a place that could men's haircut the way I wanted it. This is truly a fabulous Salon and Spa. All the services are done by certified people. I am so glad that I found this Salon since I am new to the area. It is DEFINITELY my forever salon. I have been a couple of times to Body Bliss Salon & Spa to get waxed. First a bikini wax, then pumped myself up to go all the way for a Brazilian wax. Katy was very professional. The receptionist replied to my initial email inquiry within minutes and helped me determine how to set up my appointments to save me money by scheduling a cut first and another appointment for balayage. Allison did a great job getting the perfect shade of light blonde and erasing all the yellow damage I had from using box dye with a toner. Jake is responsible for my amazing hair! I am African-American (with natural hair) and needed my hair to be washed, straightened, and trimmed while visiting NC. Jake not only did a great job at straightening my hair, but also gave me a very good trim! My hair stayed straight for almost two weeks!
