He stores and tried to sell his bikes from the shed. He stated some of the $1000 bikes were found or given to him. He offered to sell me a bike that was the exact same Specialized model and color as a bike that was stolen 2 months earlier from me. I called the cops and let them sort it out. I'll leave the rest of the details out as that is between the police and the guy. The manager decided to intervene in the police investigation. The manager was ignorant and decided to berate my wife and I because she had a preexisting 10 year relationship (stated by her) with the guy and that I should have taken my concerns to her before calling the cops. She wanted me to notify her that i suspected him of possessing a stolen bike (so she could notify him?) Yeah, that's just moronic. You notify the police and let them deal with it. And she was angry at me for calling police. Bad management putting itself in a police matter. When it comes to issues, legal or criminal, she's not thinking straight or protecting all customers.

I didn't have any problems with billing because I payed my bill in-person every month. I've had a great experience working with the staff. When I moved in they allowed me to use the moving truck and provided carts to help get the items off the truck and up to the unit. The elevator was clean, nice, and most importantly fast. Justin, the manager was phenomenal in helping me with all the specifics of moving in. He is truly a caring professional that is really patient & understanding to any changes that may arise when moving an apartment into a storage unit. Super reasonable rates, and all the units are ground floor with drive up access (vs most units where you have to go in a building, up an elevator, around a corner or 2, and down a hallway just to reach your unit). The large doors and roomy drive up access made moving my things in and out SO easy. The hours of access are also super flexible and the place feels clean and safe. This has been such a great experience, especially compared to my experience using a different storage space in the area a few years ago. I'm so glad I found JJ's and will absolutely recommend them to everyone I know!

I got my entire storage unit robbed with $8k worth of stuff which was only intended to be stored for a month while signing the new lease of my apartment. None of the workers cared, they weren't helpful and the cops told me that this happens often. The main manger Marybeth, does not care what happens to your stuff and neither do her lazy workers. They refused to look at the footage and did not act until I told them I was calling the cops. The unit next to mine was also broken in to. Please save yourself a headache, money, and sentiment memories of items. I truly regret not doing research before because I lost everything I owned.

I must say I would not have rented here if I had I read the other reviews first- but I do feel like the property is making efforts to turn the place around. There are now cameras inside, and I saw no evidence of rodents. Truth is that could happen at any storage facility. Hopefully they'll continue efforts to prevent and control it.
