I went to find a gasket for my new gas water heater for the inlet/outlet copper hoses that are sweated in place (not want to do that again). The copper hoses are fine, the washers after 15 years are worn and need replacing. I looked all over the store but could not find any these specific heat resistant gaskets for those tubes/pipes . Pete (District Manager no less) was there looking like a regular employee and asked me if I needed help as most of the Home Depot staff do with me. Pete was able to get the two (heat resistant) washers for me (since there are no replacement parts gaskets for this copper tubing to be found) in a matter of minutes. What a life saver Pete was and it was not until later did I find out he was the District Manager, just figured he was a regular Home Depot staff. It was not until I said I wanted to get him recognized for quickly finding a solution to my problem that he introduced himself with title. I was impressed and tremendously delighted at his kind, customer focused, efficient problem solving skills. On a previous visit the other day, two staff employees were unable to solve my gasket issue maybe because they do not have the authority to do what Pete did for me. Either way, I sure hope this message makes it to Corporate so Pete can be recognized for his excellent customer facing skills and attention! Thanks Pete!

We recently completed a whole kitchen remodel using Bay Area Cabinet Supply for our cabinets. I…read moreoriginally planned to reface our old cabinets or do IKEA cabinets with updated fronts from companies like Semihandmade, but ultimately found Bay Area Cabinet Supply to make more sense in terms of pricing, quality and time investment during the planning and design process. I walked through Bay Area Cab's Dublin showroom a few times to confirm they have cabinet styles and colors I liked, and the employees were very accommodating in letting me check out cabinet door samples to see in my actual kitchen. I'm so glad I did that, because the color we originally wanted ended up looking dingy in our northern facing kitchen. We went with their Icy Avalanche color, which is a cool toned grey, and have never loved anything more! The design and estimate process was simple and likely less time consuming than even wading through the IKEA kitchen designer yourself. Chrissy was patient, professional and very knowledgeable and made sure every detail was handled to perfection. She even hopped on the phone with our contractor a couple times to make sure every measurement was exactly correct. But her excellent customer service really came into play after our cabinets were delivered and we discovered an issue--due to a slant in our kitchen floors that weren't accounted for in our original measurements, our crown molding wouldn't fit! She and her sister, who heads their other branch, redesigned and supplied a new molding quickly so that our remodel wouldn't be too behind schedule. And if that wasn't enough, when my contractor mis-installed a drawer, Chrissy replaced the broken pieces for me immediately. For just the customer service level alone, I'm so glad I went with Bay Area Cabs. There are already so many small things that can go wrong in a kitchen remodel, and I was so glad to have the cabinets be headache-free! Finally, the quality of the cabinets is amazing. We've been in our new kitchen for about 6 months now and are happy to report that all our cabinets, drawers, shelves and doors are working perfectly. I now have a functional bathroom that I enjoy using, is easier to clean, and has a lot of storage. I had a meeting with Julie where we discussed cost, potential time frames, and I decided to move forward. Julie came with a contractor to take photos and measurements. We scheduled a couple sessions and went through all the pieces and parts for several hours. Their office has a ton of samples to choose from and contrast / compare. During the meetings, Julie was creating a visual model so I could see the layout and make adjustments aesthetically and logistically. The Bath Studio produced a binder with a layout, all part numbers and vendors, and reference of where to put outlets, drawer handles, how to lay the tile, how many tiles to order, mirror positions, and dimensions etc. etc. They ordered all the parts, told me how much space I needed to store it, and parts were delivered to my garage as the demolition of the old bathroom began. Fred went through each item that was delivered, and also highlighted info that other customers had asked and the couple parts that were on backorder. Laura followed up on those, and it did not impact the time frame at all. The treatment I got from the team made me feel like a Real Housewife of San Ramon! As other Yelpers mention, there are 2 contracts: 1 with The Bath Studio and 1 with the contractor. From the construction execution side, the team was punctual and professional and it was fairly easy to get in touch with them. I was impressed with the demolition and installation of the electric infrastructure, the cabinets, sinks, linen closet, lighting, floors, accessories. The team always cleaned up after themselves which was very much appreciated. No remodel goes perfectly I guess. There was a problem during the build-out of the shower that caused some damage to my downstairs ceiling. There was another execution mishap later that took several weeks to get closed. Because I had partnered with a pro like Julie I remained confident the contractor would address these, though it was stressful. So - if you are looking to tackle a renovation and don't have the bandwidth or experience to lead and project manage the design and logistics, I totally recommend The Bath Studio.
