We were ghosted by Cole Landscaping. The service manager came out to our house for an estimate, gave us lots o information, promised to provide us with a price within 3-5 days. After three weeks, I emailed to find out what was happening and got no response. If they weren't interested in the job, why not just tell us that? Why get our hopes up and waste our time? read more

I am only sorry that there is not an option for no stars. Cole rep made an appointment with me and never showed up When I made a follow up call to see if there was a miscommunication and to reschedule, the phone went directly to voicemail and the call was never returned. I waited all afternoon for the no-show rep, And then they had the nerve to send me promotional emails (even after I unsubscribed). My message: if you cannot or do not want to do the work, just say so up front, and do not waste the time of an octogenarian (or anyone else). read more

We made a big mistake when we hired COLE LANDSCAPING like many other in Parsons Hill in Wenham & unfortunately like MANY or MOST of us in the neighborhood, we had to discontinue their services. COLE LANDSCAPING inflated their cost structure without any improvement to the poor quality of their work. They would continually cut the grass when it was not necessary in hot weather causing multiple dry patches on our lawn. Ridiculous fees to flip a switch for our irrigation system on their schedule. We provided them our credit card information for months yet the internal incompetence prevailed. I would never advocate for COLE. GET IT IN WRITING, IF YOU CAN. Started a project with them to expand our patio that they had previously installed and I wanted to match the materials and other companies didn't carry that maker. Took nearly a month to get a quote, but that was just the start. The Sales Manager, Joe, had some great ideas. As we worked back and forth to get the price and the pricing went up over time on the original patio quote. Could never get any detail on individual items so I could make a decision. At one point Joe said he'd take some money off during the job as a change order - that never happened and the owner wouldn't stand by his employee. I did get the pricing estimate detail on one part of the project, but when I cancelled it, they didn't take the whole amount off. In our conversations, Joe would schedule meeting and not show up, or schedule them and not be prepared. Totally unprofessional. He even scheduled my job for April 20, 2020 instead of April 20, 2021 - I suspect 4/20 is a special date for him. And then when the job was scheduled and turned over to the installation team, the original materials were not available anymore - guess they never checked. That said the installation was done professionally and it looks great, Sean is their greatest asset. But what a hassle to work with Joe, and he laid it at the feet of the owner. They are expensive so get it in writing, if you can. read more
