They came yelling at my door and windows because they didn't like being told that you pick up stuff not just go around it and throw it somewhere else on the property as well as video from other owners of them doing it too. I have video of these people also breaking my window screen and have lied about replacing it and it's been broken since December 2021 and it's now 2022 ( I still have the broken screen). They violated my rights as an owner . Tried to tell us that we couldn't have cameras or pictures even if it's our security camera. Hopefully you have a good lawyer if your hiring these human.

I received no phone call or notification from Stefano's about the fact that they have been for over a month "mowing" a dead lawn, or even that my lawn was dead in the first place and might need to be reseeded. To be fair, the tenants should have told me about it earlier, but it isn't their job. Stefano's is the company that I pay thousands of dollars a year to specifically to take care of this lawn!!!! For context, I have been using Stefano's landscaping since 2015, so 7 to 8 years now. Initially, when the company was smaller, they offered a customer friendly service that was attentive to individual customer needs. I live in the Montreal area and have relied on Stefano's landscaping to take care of the lawn for my property in Wakefield, MA, year after year. When I contacted them to ask why they had not advised me of the problem with the dead lawn, they blamed me for not watering the lawn, and that weekly mowings were a take it or leave it proposition whether or not the lawn is dead. They were completely insensitive to the fact I didn't know the lawn was dead, and that THEY DID KNOW and didn't advise me. Because they forced me to choose between weekly mowings or nothing, this left me no choice but to cancel the service. However, I thought it would be fair that they take responsibility for the many weeks they have now spent giving the lawn "services" consisting of driving to the property then driving around on a dead lawn without notifying me. Their response was to accuse me of being dissatisfied for wanting bi-weekly instead of weekly mowings (which was NOT the issue), accuse me of being inconsiderate for taking up other customers' time slots, and that they had after all "done things" on the property. Baffled by this response, I pointed out that this would result in a negative review online, after which they accused me of threatening to leave a negative review in retaliation for not receiving free "services" and that the owner of the company would contact their lawyer to sue me over this. IF IT IS NOT CLEAR FROM THE ABOVE, TO AVOID A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

The driveway has humps and low spots all over... in the winter we have puddles that freeze and are a constant hazard. It looked like this 6 months after getting installed. I specifically requested and paid for additional thickness for the sub base to ensure this would not occur... and also asked for extra thick layer of asphalt. But looking at the pictures you can see that they did neither! I contacted the company multiple times over the past... each time they assured me someone would be by to take a look and fix the issues. But no one ever showed up... they just kept leading me on for years. Well, I am sick of trying to chase them down. I again do not suggest using this company! They do not stand behind their work! They do not seem to care about your contract for specs of the depth of sub base or top layer... and only do the job the cheapest way they can... which does not even last 6months! I they put in an Irrigation system for be back in 2010 and it was great! I know over time things…read moreneed fixing but wow. So I had them come out to get some stuff fixed on the irrigation system and everything was great paid just over $1300.00 to get it fixed wow but I paid for it! Well I think it was maybe a month later or less one of the sprinkler heads started to leave a puddle so I called them back out one person and he said it was the filter inside one of the valves that was replaced all ready. I said ok and I walked inside and I guess he fixed it. Well the next morning I had a flood in my yard that head along with the heads that are with it on the system stayed on and I couldn't turn it off from inside. So I send an email and Deb said that someone would be out in a bit. Well 3 hour later no one showed and now I wasted 3 hour of my time that they didn't seem to care about! Well I sent an email again asking what is going on and Deb asked if I would be there later in the afternoon. Mine you it was also going to rain a lot that morning. So I said to Deb no I will not be here I have things I have to do and I wasted my time waiting 3 hours for you all. So after another email back and forth. I sent one that said I would be home tomorrow but I just need a time frame she said how about later in the afternoon and I said ok. Well my husband got a follow up email from them for tomorrows visit for a estimate WTH I said to myself. I sent Deb and email saying that this is not an Estimate appt. This is something your guy did and you need to fix it. So when I couldn't turn it off from inside my Husband turned it off from outside. All I was asking is for them to came back and fix it. I'm pretty sure it was something that was not turned back when they fixed it and left a part in the valve box. So some money down the tub and some of it well spent . But they never showed again that day for the appt. So it looks like we are going to have to fix it with someone else or ourselves. Not sure what is going on with them they used to be so good and now not so much. I do have pic's of everything the flood and the piece that was left in the valve box and so on. About 20 years ago, Steve designed --and he and his crew put in --a series of pitched drainage…read morepipes from my basement sump pumps and gutters, leading to a big underground dry well they constructed in the lower corner of my yard, and the system eliminated once and for all huge and deep ponding that would happen every spring (and after any big rain, truth be told). They didn't take half measures and used nice quality materials including crushed pea stone, and they fixed up the yard after all the excavation. The guys really treated the yard with respect and they displayed mannerly professionalism during the whole process, and solved our very big problem. Thanks to Steve DiCicco and his drainage crew, we can relax even when we are away, knowing that our yard is not hazardous to animals and perhaps even wandering young children in our Danvers neighborhood.
