Started off a little thinner than I like and get more watery quickly. I like my shakes pretty thick so that was disappointing. Was only about 70 outside and after dark so no reason it should have softened so quickly. Flavor though, delicious! Huge chunks of cookie, great flavor overall. Staff was friendly and fast, two young women working well together to get the orders filled pretty fast. Location was clean and bright. Great location as well.

Definitely SO appreciate that, as some spots nowadays can tend to be a little more stingy. I recommend ordering their Twirls (which are basically a blizzard). What's amazing is they top the Twirls with not one, but TWO toppings of your choice! The two toppings are also mixed in. Chef's kiss. They conveniently have a drive-thru or you can go outside and order at the window. The staff is always super friendly, and are nice and quick preparing your order. Something most people don't know -- Twistee Treat has a loyalty program. I am a regular, so I rack up a few dollars off my order pretty frequently! I can't say enough great things about Twistee Treat. The shape of the store itself, brings joy -- as it looks like an actual ice cream cone! A wonderful ambiance. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your ice cream. I will forever be a customer of theirs!

The reality was a mediocre-tasting ice cream that melted before I made it to the end of the block. I'm no ice cream expert, but I have to imagine it's the brand or recipe they use since that wasn't my experience from other ice cream spots we visited. The best waffle cone smelled better than it tasted but still got the job done. At the end of the day, the service was quick and friendly from the teen behind the counter, and it got the job done. Frankly, there are better options, but if you're passing by and need a fix, you won't go wrong with Kilwins but it deserves its 3.6 rating.
