The gentleman welcomed us in from the chill of the winter night & patiently waited on us to make our choices. I'm so glad, it was definitely worth coming outside! My ice cream was DELICIOUS! It's always a bit difficult to review chain restaurants because while the menu will always basically be the same, what differs the most is both the service and location. While I'm a huge Cold Stone fan, as a lot of other people are, the ice cream was great. Creamy, tasty, and just as we expected. However at this specific location the service was poor. The two ice cream scoopers behind the counter couldn't have smiled or made eye contact if their jobs depended on it. In general I'm rating the ice cream a 5 but the service a 1. Pictured is yesterday's small 'like it' size but way more than a dieter's portion. Yeah, they had healthier options, but cannot say no to this. Friendly staff were pro, fast service, great value for the price. Dine-in area isn't exactly a lounge but probably intentional. I like to order the triple pints to keep at the house, but I must recommend against it. At least be careful with your mix-ins. Anything that needs manipulation for a premium experience is a thumbs down. Chocolate chip cookie dough for example. The cookies must be crushed to be shared in more bites. Even after specifically asking for this, I get cookies that are halved or quartered at best. You would think they could have a tool that could make chunks, but I guess not. It's sad as their ice cream flavors are so good, but if you're paying that much for 3 pints, I would think the least they could do is chop up the mix-ins if asked. read more

First nice weekend of the summer 2021. We frequent this cold stone often and usually it's pretty empty around 9pm. However this weekend there was a line down past Verizon. When we finally got inside the girls working were clearly upset (eyes rolling, complaining to each other about the line, throwing lids/ice cream onto the counter). I felt for them but also it's ice cream and the beginning of summer. It took an hour to get through the line with clearly uncomfortable, frustrated workers. Hopefully, they prepare for the line again next weekend with the change in weather... I guess we'll see. I drove 40 mins here just to get subpar service from 3 teens who are rude and disrespectful. Upon ordering I went to pay and they didn't accept contactless payment. I checked on website where they indicated they do! False advertisement. I'm happy I had enough cash on me but the people working here have terrible customer service skills and wierd attitude. All the girls working gave me terrible service , never coming back here. It was my first and last time! I wrote my name on a piece of paper with my number when I went to get my other form of payment. Flavorless Triple Berry! I have to say, I wasn't even supposed to be in the shop because I'm currently cutting back and working on losing a few pounds. This was a cheat treat for me and I was greatly disappointed. The Triple Berry in a small cup is what I requested and after taking the first spoonful, I knew I was going to throw it away. I ate two more spoonfuls and made my decision to save my calories for something far more worth while than this cup of ice milk! That's right! It tasted like ice milk instead of icecream! By this time, I was in my car and onto my next errand. I almost turned around to return it, but had to keep it moving. This was bad! Virtually no flavor from any of the three berries and the same was true of the other cold material in the cup. 1st time here my daughter wanted to try. I ordered mint choc chip (small) mind you I ask for it cause I see a pic of what's a normal mint choc chip(green) . Well--he scoops up just plain mint(green) ice cream then mixes it on the stone counter( guess that's how they do??) I thought maybe he's just gonna put mint chips or shavings on ur. No, he put a brownie or cake at bottom of my cup drizzled choc syrup & then chips as well mixed it to where it turned NO longer any green but chocolate color & runny mess & handed to me & charged me $4.59 for small mess. I took like 3-4 bites trying to give it chance---no this is a def not coming back for me. I threw it out. Daughter got a strawberry blonde in cone. Hers tasted ok, but 2min I f having it--sloppy mess. She too threw hers out after bout 5-7 scoops. This is a NO for us again. & worst $10.58 spent. read more

This Cold Stone is in People's Plaza, another wacky collection of stores along US-40. Their parking area is shared with Starbucks and a Verizon store but on the afternoon of my visit, there seemed to be more than enough parking. Like most Cold Stones, there is not much interior seating. However, on a nice day, you can use one of the tables outside. It may be unfair for me to rate Cold Stone on this visit because it was the counter guy's first day at the job. However, he was nice and very apologetic about not being up to speed. I'm guessing I'm the only one who doesn't see anything really special about the ice cream, compared to say, Dairy Queen, but the selection of mix-ins is pretty good. read more

I frequently visit this Cold Stone location after seeing movies at Regal Theaters. The staff is normally very friendly and prompt, and the store itself is clean. I ordered a "Like It" (read: size small) Cookie Dougn't You Want Some from the Signature Creations menu. The gentleman behind the counter offered to make me a smaller portion after he heard me express to my boyfriend that even the "Like It" size was more than enough for me. The ice cream was delicious and packed with mix-ins. I also like that Cold Stone is one of the few ice cream shops in the area that stays open year-round. read more

I came here with my family to celebrate an adoption. It was such a wonderful moment for us but, unfortunately, we were met with unfriendly conversation and rude service. The two boys working on 2/4/16 at 5:30 pm stared at us with either blank faces and raised eye brows or furrowed brows and annoyed faces. It put such a negative tone to a joyous event that these two boys couldn't have cared less about. They didn't even crack a smile as we told them enthusiastically, "We are celebrating their adoption!" The final show of their customer service is when I showed them that there was only two tiny pieces of Reese's cups in my big bowl of vanilla ice cream. The boy shrugged and said, "Sorry." I asked if I could have some more and he said that it would cost me. I finally just gave them my cup back and asked for my money back as the whole family was waiting. I typically LOVE coldstone but I was rather disappointed with this visit. 5 of us ordered ice cream and 5 of us received poorly mixed/combined ice cream and we all felt that the employee was very very stingy with the toppings. But, I have an issue with any restaurant with a sign up speaking to the cleanliness of the place when the walls around the seating area are visibly dirty and the register/counter (right under the sign) was layered in dust and pieces of trash. I got mint chocolate chip cookie dough and the guy just throws a scoop of chocolate cops on it and a big chunk of cookie dough pushes the chocolate chip down and the breaks the cookie dough into 2 huge chunks puts it in the cone and hands it to me. I'm not originally from here and my only experience of Cold Stone has been in another state. I have always loved Cold Stone since they opened when I was in high school, the price has never bothered me because I love how they mix everything right in front of you and sing and dance when you tip them. This was my first time here at this location, I brought my 7 yr old daughter knowing she would adore the experience as much as I always did. However I was sadly mistaken, I was so disappointed to see that the flavors were premade instead of just starting with standard vanilla and adding EVERYTHING to make your special flavor, the staffs friendliness was subpar at best, neither of the people helping even smiled at us. My daughter got the Oreo ice cream and added white chocolate chips, the woman did not add any Oreo to her ice cream and when I tried to pick my daughter up to watch her mix the chips into the ice cream the woman just quickly folded the ice cream over the chips and tossed it into the cup. I was beyond disappointed by now!! I talked this place up and had my daughter so excited, what a complete and utter let down. Even when paying I wasn't thanked for coming in, I was NOT surprised that the tip jar was only a quarter full with pennies at 4pm on a Sunday. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a Cold Stones or any other creamery for that matter. I will not be back, I'd rather drive further to another place. read more
