After lunch dessert on a weekday. The place was empty and we ordered two small cones. They charged me for the medium and in a waffle bowl (I asked for cone). Disinterested workers. I mean, just to avoid boredom can't you TRY to be a little pleasant? Ice cream, of course, was delicious, but jeez! read more

Very complicated place and the app says different prices than the store then they tell me they can't scan my phone for rewards then they tell me my phone number isn't in the system, terrible experience, and then my brother ordered cookies and cream and the lady didn't speak English and didn't give him crushed Oreos , will not be returning read more

Return yesterday 5/24/25 at around 4:45pm. The 2 young ladies were fabulous! Immediately welcomed us (party of 4, 1 child). Very nice to us and allowed my granddaughter (5) to try 2 samples. We each got exactly what we wanted. The young lady was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful! What a huge difference from my last disastrous experience! Congratulations on your new staff!!! read more

Nice people but ordered 3 ice creams to go and just got home to find that all 3 ice creams were the wrong ones. SMH...

Horrible service. Ordered for pick up and waited no one acknowledged me as I stared at them. Finally a guy looks right over me and asked the guy behind me his name. I told him I was waiting for my order. They intentionally go super slow and none of them speak English . They don't say Welcome to Cold Stone. read more

I took my nine year old daughter for an ice cream treat at the Kendall & 137th Avenue in Miami, FL location and was overcharged for a Kiddie Cup, the manager Teanya Brown-Gosa charged me $5.39 for a Kiddie Cup of ice cream,. She couldn't even give me a full scoop of ice cream she gave me a half of a hollow scoop & folded it over to make it look larger. When I asked her if she could give me a full scoop, she said she would have to charge me for a regular size. Then while paying, I asked her why she charged me that amount & if the prices went up, she was rude, sarcastic and couldn't answer my question regarding prices, while my daughter was standing right next to me. She then proceeded to tell us Goodbye, several times. I visited this Cold Stone about a month ago & paid $3.69 for the same Kiddie Cup ice cream for my daughter. I will never visit this Cold Stone again and be targeted and over charged & disrespected by a General Manager who feels as if she needs to overcharge customers so she can Compensate for the customers she she has Dismissed or Run off. After my incident, I called another Cold Stone Creamery and the girl who answered advised that a Kiddy Cup was $3.99 before taxes. This is the reason for my negative review, I received terrible customer service and was overcharged for an ice cream. read more

Nothing better than nice, cold, creamy Ice Cream. I love coming to Coldstone and the ice cream that they offer. My special favorite is the Mint Mint Chocolate Chip off of the signature menu. I love mint ice cream the most and it doesn't hurt to add a little bit of chocolate and brownie. The location is similar to others, but the biggest pro was that there available chairs for me and my girlfriend to stay and enjoy our ice cream. Usually there isn't too much room in Coldstone and they have to wait for the limited chairs to be disposed. I like coming to Coldstone every once in a while and I definitely will return for my monthly dose of ice cream. read more

AWFUL! I've been coming to this Coldstone for many years exclusively for birthday cakes. Service is always spotty, sometimes good and sometimes bad. I tend to walk in during slow hours so wait time shouldn't take long right? WRONG. Staff is always in the back somewhere and I always have to shout out for someone to help me with a cake. When asked to write out a name on a cake, they always take it to the back and take 5-10 minutes to write down a quick happy birthday. Last time I was there, I ordered a Cookie Dough ice cream cake. Being the only one in line, I didn't expect to wait 15 minutes for them to write happy birthday on my cake. I got home only to find that the cake I ordered was a Cookie & Cream cake underneath the frosting. I went back to Coldstone and without an apology, the "manager" said "Well, what do you want me to do about that?". I'm very upset with the lack of professionalism of the staff, for not offering an apology or accepting to exchange the cake. I get that mistakes happen, but Coldstone should attempt to fix them, especially when they're clearly in the wrong. VERY UPSET! read more

So I'm normally hard to displease but if you go to an ice cream shop you expect to have ice cream. How are the fridges not working selling melted ice cream and not even warning people before hand. I paid for coffee soup with Eminem's and Oreos. Not to mention I was going to get my partner a shake but once I saw how bad the first ice cream was I canceled the shake before they made it. The guy was so quick to charge me he didn't realize he charged me the shake too and we had to wait for a manager to come and refund us. Your business is literally based on your product being cold, if you can't deliver on that maybe you should close until that problem is fixed. read more

Worst experience ever. The employees and the manager are super rude. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone. The granite where the blocks are mixed are never cleaned correctly so all the flavors mix and the spoons they use to scoop ice cream don't get rinsed. All the flavors mix and when you tell the employees they give you attitude and don't do anything about it. You should atleast consider hiring people with manners and that atleast speak English. The most terrible cold stone I've been. I've been going here for years but don't plan on ever visiting again. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They don't even deserve one star. I was there Sunday evening with my family. The place overall looked dirty where they prepared the ice cream how are they even open anymore. read more

Order here for years, even had friends work here. This was probably the worse experience. I ordered online for pick up. 1 of my ice creams didn't have the mix ins and 2 of my ice creams weren't mixed at all, they were scoops of ice cream with the mix in placed on top. I understand there being a long line and rushing but to not mix 2 of the ice cream is being lazy... The staff working all had an earphone or air pod in while attending costumers. You could tell the workers didn't want to be there or deal with anyone just by looking at their faces.. read more

Service and ice cream is great. I would encourage you all to visit and get your favorite.

I went November 15 at 2 pm to buy 2 ice creams, one small and one medium, the African American young women charged me 9 dollars and something, and I added a tip for a total of 10:32 dollars, when I checked my discover credit card , the woman stole me 10 dollars and I was charged 20:32 , I don't know what that happened since I signed for 10:32 People are dishonest, I will never come back read more

I have been going to the cold stone creamery for years, but never to this location. This cold stone creamery site ( Store#21450 -8448 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33144-(786) 275-8888) was my worse experience. My wife and I were there for around 40 mts because was a line there; all this time, we were looking at the store personnel attending to other customers. They were polite and knowledgeable about the job. They also served the right portion for every ice cream size. When it was almost our turn, a new girl arrived; maybe she was on her break. The girl is 5.3" in height and brunette. When she was attending us, I asked her how she calculated the right portion for each ice cream size, and she said this is done by appreciation. After she attended us, I asked for her name, and She said, "My name is Elizabeth." Going for Cold Stone Creamery for years not makes me an expert in sizes or portions, but I know she gave us around 60% of what we always get when coming to cold stone (others locations). She served us less than we were supposed to get, and even though she didn't give us the right portion, she threw away least than two ounces of ice cream. My wife and I look each other amazed at what was happening( It was not correct). We also had the opportunity to compare the other attendant portions by size, and Elizabeth was always low in the portions. I advise you to go to another location because this experience was miserable and unpleasant. This girl has to be trained again and gain the level of appreciation that she needs to serve what we paid. If you plan to go to cold stone, think about other locations. read more

My review is going to be mostly based on the ice cream itself. I love the texture of cold stone ice cream. The variety of options for toppings and the texture it creates is absolutely devouring. This Cold Stone in particular was in the past very friendly. Unfortunately during the day they only have one person working and they're busy, barely get to say hello and he/she is backed up in orders. Its unfortunate because the product is amazing in my opinion therefore it sell itself. However, when that kind of environment becomes the norm eventually people just stop going because it isn't fun anymore. If you want good ice cream, definitely go just eat it else where. read more

Coldstone is great, especially when your trying to kill a sweet tooth! Unfortunately the service was not good. I'll simply say, when you see other employees (2 of 3) look around to see where the 3rd employee is, you know it sucks for them. Employee "P" hands off an Uber order and goes straight to the back to do "stuff", I imagine. When they ask for help, she reminds them that her shift ends in 10 mins. But it always starts with one employee doing the minimum and then it becomes the standard. I hope she improves for her colleagues, customers, and herself. read more

10/10 service i loved it will definitely be coming back! loved all the workers. love the area that its in. right by my house.

The first place I ever discovered that uses a marble slab to produce deliciousness. I've been a "regular" since high school and I've always ordered the same thing. What can I say...creature of habit. I know what I like. Birthday cake remix is heaven. I've tried other ice cream shops version of cake batter ice cream, and none stand up to Coldstone. It's creamy, it's soft and it literally tastes like cake batter. Add some fudge, brownie pieces and colored sprinkles. Voila! I always order a "like it", the staff always prepares a "love it"...another reason why Im obsessed with this place. There are take home options as well, for the true fanatics. Get a custom made pint to take home, or pick up their in-store cakes or cookie sandwiches. Perfect midnight snack while everyone else is sleeping. Their taste is consistent, staff is always young and energetic, and convenient locations make this place a favorite. read more

Amazing experience and fantastic customer service

I would like the employees to work instead of just chilling in the back dawg I'm not waiting 10 minutes for an ice cream

They don't know how to make shakes. Very disappointed. I ordered a Oreo shake and it was straight water.

The ice cream is great as any cold stone store. The crew however is not. Because of coronavirus you can only do online orders BUT be warned they are no punctual. When you make your order online it says it will take 10-15 min (which is okay) but when you get there the staff doesn't even realize they received an order so they make it on the spot. Not timely or professional. I'd rather drive to another location. read more

I agree with Tania R. Cold Stone has some awesome ice cream. Very rich in flavor and creamy. Their selection is also fantastic. Love the idea of the "cold stone" (pun intended) to prepare it on. My favorite is their cotton candy flavor on a waffle cup. 4 stars. I'm a fan. read more

I'm an ice cream lover, and Coldstone is one of my favorite places. The concept of mixing the toppings before serving is a great idea, since the toppings don't melt or mix into the ice cream, preserving crunchiness and flavor. As mentioned by other reviewers the service can be spotty... sometimes it is great, sometimes it is bad... and sometimes tables are very messy, sometimes clean, so I had to remove one star from my rating... I think consistency of service and cleanliness are important. Anyway... if you never had Coldstone I highly recommend you try it. My favorite is the Oreo Overload, just a hint! Enjoy! read more
