Placed an online order tonight for two milkshakes. The order was put together quickly. Whipped topping was left off both of our orders, but our shakes were delicious. Would return. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to stop in for some ice cream and saw the store was supposed to be open for another 15 minutes. We knew exactly what we wanted, but as soon as we walked in, the two employees told us they were already closed and turned us away. This was very disappointing. If the posted hours say you're open, customers should be able to order during that time. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Did not listen at all to what we asked for. Tried to give me the wrong flavor. Gave us both extremely small servings and didn't even ask for mix ins. Rushed us out the door. Will not go back read more

This place has gone downhill. Albeit winter so not very busy, but one guy working. No uniform, was not wearing gloves. Milk carton sitting out on counter, cut banana sitting on top of a 8.5 x 11 paper sitting onto of brownie container. Very disappointing. Was helping someone in front of us, so we changed our minds and left. read more

As a first timer and not from the area, the service was quick and ice cream was delicious! With only 2 people in front of my boyfriend and I, the ice cream came out within minutes and was great! Place was clean and girls were nice. Idk where those negative reviews about waiting come from. Must've came during peak hours, oh well. Anyways! Great first experience! read more

Cold Stone Creamery - the interior of a restaurant - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Leesburg, Virginia

I typically love coming to this Cold Stone Location, it has been a favorite of me and my sister! But I was unfortunately disappointed when visiting today for a few reasons: 1. Social Distancing was not enforced. Customers were allowed to come in and order while waiting in line inside. It is my understating that locations are only allowed to offer delivery and carry out options, this was not the case at this location. This was disappointing to see for health concerns. 2. There were more than 10 customers inside this location, thus not following social distancing rules set by the Governor. This was also disappointing to see for health concerns. 3. While I understand things can be busy, but when I got to the location at the time of my order set to be ready, I had to wait inside for my order to be ready as other customers were filling inside the store at this point. When I did receive my order, they were out of the ice cream we requested so we got a different kind instead, totally fine, but when we received the Ice Cream, it was completely melted. The employee said "I'm sorry, it is melted". It was disappointing that we paid for ice cream that was melted. 4. Masks were not worn by any of the employees working there which was also disappointing to see as well for health reasons as masks are a simple way to help. Overall I was disappointed with my experience today. Again, I usually love this location, we have been natives of Leesburg and come here, but unfortunately did not have a very pleasant experience today. read more

We got what we asked for. It was fine. Staff was obviously annoyed we were there. Just cold. No friendliness, just barking "next " at us. One napkin dispenser near the register, frequently blocked by paying customers. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Will not be back. Brusters and Grutos are much friendlier and cleaner. read more

Showed up on a Sunday at 1:20 in the afternoon with my grandson to get icecream. The doors were locked and the place was dark. Tried to call and all I got was a message saying the voice mailbox is full. The hours are clearly posted 12-9. Disappointed grandson, angry Mimi. read more

Ok went in for two people - both wanted Oreo - out of Oreo's - next family wanted coconut out of coconut - Asked for cherries - no cherries GIVE me a break - cost $8 each and you can't keep your options refilled - please walk to Target buy Oreo's/ cherries / coconuts!!!!! I would be embarrassed if I owned this location. read more

If you place an order on their app and expect the picture that you clicked on... don't expect the same thing. Totally bummed. My daughter and her friend wanted the lucky charm over the rainbow ice cream.... Nothing like the picture, didn't even get the cones I asked for and paid and extra $1.25 for 3.... No lucky charms marshmallows like the picture and a light pinch of gold glitter.... Thank god I didn't order more for an extra $2.99! I think I'm done with cold stones over priced meh ice cream. I've had better for cheaper! Bye Cold Stone! read more

Unwelcoming interior. There's only two tables inside and absolutely no other seating anywhere outside or anywhere nearby. The ice cream I got tasted kind of off, not quite the quality I'd get at another Coldstone location. The employees just stared at me the entire time and it was super weird. I don't really care if service isn't super friendly but the staring made me mildly uncomfortable. read more

This is 100% the worst cold stone I've ever been to. The first time I was there they were out of the ice cream that I wanted. Not a big deal. I just got something else. Last night I drove 35 min to go get ice cream. It was late around 9:40 once I got there. But they close at 10. The open sign was lit and operating hours are until 10. As soon as I opened the door they told me they are closed and are no longer taking customers. Don't waste your time with this place. Their management obviously doesn't care or isn't there. I won't bother again and I suggest you don't either. Ended up going to the target across the street which has a huge selection of ice cream. read more

Good place for dessert if you are in Leesburg and you art hear the Outlet Mall. You can have your ice cream plain or have something like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's Pieces, or Gummy Bears. A little expensive for ice cream, but the quality is good. The eating area has only 3 tables, so expect to stand or go outside if there is no where to sit. read more

Went last night. Woman with very long hair took my order. Hair not tied back at all. Used her gloveless hand to push hair back and then scoop my ice cream. $6 for smallest serving. read more

I have not seen a crew of disinterested workers in an ice cream parlor before, as the ones here. The place is overpriced and has limited seating capacity. We ordered couple of ice creams and a smoothie but none of the workers there knew if their Sorbets had dairy in them or not. Most of the Fruits they use for their smoothies are frozen (but for the bananas) which is a major turn-off as well All in all not a great experience and so we won't be returning any time soon. There are other joints out there in Leesburg, that offer a better product at reasonable prices!! read more

I love Cold Stone which is why I wanted to order a Nemo cake to surprise my nephew on his birthday. Since I live in a different state, I had planned on calling them first to check their availability since their website states that cake designs vary by location. I called four different times with no answer and was forced to leave several messages with no return call back. I visited this location during my visit and there was only one employee working. I received good service and the ice cream was delicious but I really wish they would answer their phone for customer inquiries. read more

I went on a Saturday night 15mins before closing. I checked online their hours and it stated they closed at 9:30pm on Saturdays. I pulled up and people were inside, as I was parking the people walked out. As I was walking up to the door a young male ran to the door and locked it in front of my face. I stood there in absolute disbelief that he had just done that. There was another young male inside lounging by the register on his phone. I understand wanting to close early on a Saturday night and they very easily could have started the closing process while I was in there but to lock the door in a customers face is absolutely unacceptable especially when you have 15mins left before closing. This is less than 2mins from my house but I will be gladly going to further away to Baskin Robins or Brewsters to give them my money and not here after this experience. read more

The cold stone creamery at the Leesburg location is absolutely TERRIBLE. We drove around 30 minutes to get there and arrived at 9pm (they close at 9:30pm). We walk in at 9:05pm and they tell us they're closed and we had to leave. I have never seen more unkind service as they wouldn't even listen to us when we stated that we still had 25 minutes til they supposedly closed. Do NOT go to this location. They don't deserve your business. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Cold Stone Creamery closed at 9:15pm when stated that it closes at 9:30pm. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Leesburg, Virginia

Went in 10 min before closing without realize and the lack of interest they had was unbelievable. Rather than saying hello or how are you, we got a "we are about to close so what do you want?" With the most annoyed tone in his voice. Chick fil a across the street will "my pleasure" you even after closing time so go there instead. Go to brusters instead kinder service and more bang for ur buck read more

Nice kids and they are good, and fast. Prices are fair, only place that has good cake batter ice cream

Good, but sooooo slow. They only have 1 worker on a Saturday??? Why? Took us 17 minutes to get one order - with one family ahead of us (4 persons). Just not worth the wait. read more

We drove a distance to visit this location only to find they locked the door and walked away when we arrived. When we called them to find out their hours we were told they needed to close the store early. I am not sure if that is true but the customer service was non existent. If they were closing early they could have politely told us instead of rudely closing and locking the doors. Our visit February 5th, 2022. read more

I was there today and Faith and Bella were there working and they could not have been more unprofessional even if they tried. It is a shame that these kids are let to run that store. Besides waiting for one of them to come back in from her smoke break , waiting for them to catch up on what happened during the one girls break and getting skipped. Watching both girls while wearing gloves wipe their foreheads off from sweat and moving there hair. I will not be back there again. read more

My friend and I drove over 30 min to get here at 9 and they closed at 930. There were 4 people still in the store and we walked in and the guy tells us that they are closed and proceeded to kick us out. I don't understand how they would refuse service and have terrible customer service. I am never coming here again. read more

Awesome place, great flavors...well kept. This place has the same menu as the rest of the Cold Stones. Went in for a quick scoop and the service was exceptional. The gentleman took our order and had our ice cream to us within 5 minutes. Tables and counters were clean and the floor was spotless. Bummer on the limited space but I think the all are like that. A must visit if you enjoy ice cream. read more

*drool* This place is the best. Do you like ice cream? Of course you do. Go to Cold Stone. Basically, their ice cream is really thick and they mix it with various yummy ingredients and then push it into a delicious, hand-made ice cream cone. I dare say, it's even better than Ben & Jerry's. The only part I don't like is the singing when you leave a tip. When I go, I say to the cashier, "I'm going to leave a tip, but don't tell your friends. I don't want a rukkus." They get how annoying it is and I think they appreciate it when they don't have to sing for their money. I know it's winter, but eat there anyway. Maybe it's less of a shock to your system? I don't know, just eat ice cream like Jesus told you to. read more

I have a nut allergy and cold stone always takes the ice cream from the back and makes the order in a little box to prevent cross contamination. My sister and I went in today and told the employee the order was an "allergy" he said he can make it on the stone and we said no, he insisted the stone was clean. We told him no that it needs to be made in the box. He reluctantly went to back and got the box. When he came back he went to grab the ice cream front and I told him to please get it from the back and he refused. We then proceeded to walk out. Being made to feel so different and such a burden is no way to treat anyone. This cold stone has always hired employees so unwilling to work. read more

While Cold Stone has great ice cream, the service is inconsistent at the Leesburg location and many of the workers do not wear gloves when they are mixing your ice cream which is unsanitary. Cold Stone is a great franchise but it's obvious this one is poorly managed. I hope the franchise and the owner read these reviews and improve the service since I really like the ice cream. read more

Every time I come to cold stone, I am never impressed. I use to go there a lot because a friend use to work there. The few times I went this kid Andrew ruined my order and was rude when I told him he messed it up. The ice cream was also melted, so I guess it wasn't frozen enough. The service is extremely slow and they for certain don't have enough people working at a time. Their managers seem unprofessional for the kids they are hiring. Never going back here again. read more

Tuesday, August 5, 2:00 PM, and they are closed. The store is dark with no note or sign (other than the ones saying that they should be open) and their voicemail box is full. This store has always seemed to be poorly managed and this, for me, is the last straw. Fortunately, good ice cream is right up the street at DQ, or Baskin-Robbins, or Sweet Frog, or Luvnberry, or Zinga, or Il Dolce, or Fantasticks, or Gruto's, or Target, or Giant, or Wegman's, or Harris Teeter, etc., etc. read more

The ice cream is great, but I gave only 2 stars because they never have enough people behind the counter. On summer nights, why would you put only one person in the store alone to wait on all the customers (usually 10 deep) AND handle all the money, too? It grosses me out to see the same person handling all that cash, and also swiping the credit cards, and handing customers the pen to sign, then go over and use their unwashed hands to prepare the next order. I almost walked out over it tonight. I feel sorry for the employees who are put on the schedule alone by this, apparently, cheap SOB who owns the place. Put one person on the cash register, and 1 - 2 people on the counter to wait on your customers. Geez, you obviously don't care about your employees or your customers. We waited nearly 30 minutes in line tonight. Who has time to stand in line for 30 minutes for ice cream? This ice cream is hand crafted by individual order, so it takes longer to prepare each order at Cold Stone. So why not put enough people on the work schedule to accommodate these needs? The owner must be a greedy jerk. Been going there for years, but I'm really over it. read more

Ice cream is very good but both times I've been there have had terrible service. First time kid was just rude,. This time huge sign was up behind server advertising all day milkshakes for $3 (like it) and $4 (love it) but was charged $6.99! When I complained he said "that offer isn't on anymore." When I pointed out that the sign was still up and had no expiration on it he said that he had nothing to do with it! Bait and switch and just plain bad customer service. Should have just left it and walked out but didn't. Will not be back. read more

Just your standard Cold Stone... Only at this location you can literally watch the ice cream freeze because the guy was SO SLOW!

This store is the worst! They always keep their sign on and never close the door so they could just tell you "sorry we are closed" . I get back to my car and the employees are just gathering in the back and their store sign says open. Also, their waffle machine is always broken. Not a good service! I love ice cream but won't get it from this store. I hope they can get their service back in line. read more

I guess there has been a staff change or I went during a different shift. The moment we walked in, we were greeted and tended to. Even while I pondered my decision (birthday cake remix is my go-to), two other staff members came out to assist. I was even given my like it size cup into a love it bowl so that it wouldn't create a mess. I was very happy with my service, as well as my decision (cheesecake fantasy) and hope to be back soon for the peanut butter cup perfection! read more

The ice cream great, as it is at every Cold Stone, however, the service was very "meh". Unimpressed by the way that the signature collection ice cream was made/assembled. Just not enough of components. Other Cold Stones in the area to go to. read more

The line is always ridiculous and always have high schoolers running the place.. never an adult manager in the store. The employee literally rolled her eyes when I told her I wanted a 32oz ice cream to go because she had a lot of ice cream to mix. Sucks their ice cream is so good bc the high school employees ruin it. Over 20 minutes just to order service is unbelievable. read more

For starters, I bought a small (I like it) and it was $5. That's a lot more than Dairy Queen, but the harder ice cream that gets mixed toppings is nice. But it's still overpriced. The real reason why Im leaving a two star review is that there's horrible service. The past three times I've been there have been the worst. The first time, the owner who was behind the counter and took our orders was rude and downright disrespectful to me and my family. The second and third times nobody has been behind the counter when I walked in. On one occasion, after I left, he did too and went to Starbucks, leaving everything unlocked. Today I stood for several minutes calling out before someone came from the back of the store. However the sign up front says that they're hiring, so I hope this horrible customer service changes soon. read more
