With the current craze surrounding the Dubai chocolates, my husband and I had to try out Cold Stones new take on it as an ice cream flavor! We'll let me just say, they did not disappoint! I think the flavor, as far as an ice cream version goes, was spot on. They even had the little tiny thin crunchy pieces mixed in, called Kataifi. Which, I believe you can request without if you're not fond of the texture, but I would not recommend omitting them as they would take away from the entirety of the Dubai Chocolate flavor experience. My son liked the ice cream . Service was worse than usual . I went to the Hanford location on 6/3/2023 at 14:32. Two girls were working . It was loud and I couldn't hear the girl very well . She seemed to say " we don't do that " for everything my son asked for ( he's 5).. so I said okay just make something that you guys do . I got a 50 dollar gift card . Staff is inconsiderate. Whatever female was working on 7/19/2023 @ 4pm was dismissive. The ice cream flavor we wanted had 2 other flavors in it and she started to scoop one of the flavors out. Today while visiting I had a craving for ice cream. Since Cold Stone Ice Cream Shop was close by I entered. Immediately the young man working, later identified as Matt; greeted me with a smile. Matt asked what flavor of ice cream I wanted. I informed Matt that I was unsure. Matt began described the different flavor suggestions. I finally settled with a vanilla, with peanut butter and pieces of chocolate similar to Reese's peanut butter. Matt, mixed the ingredients perfectly. I sat down inside to consume my ice cream. During my stay I observed Matt interact with other customers with a smile, performed his job efficiently and displayed a positive attitude during my time. This place is getting pretty stingy. 3rd time here in the past few weeks and noticed that everyone is starting to cut back MAJORLY on the portions. The Love It is pretty much the size of the Like It when you compare it! Why am I even having to pay extra for a size up when I'm not getting hardly any more?? What a rip off! Three people were told my order and no one even made it, they just keep passing it off to the person next to them. I generally get very nice service at this Cold Stone location. My flavor of choice is the Sweet Cream with Heath Bar mixed in. Sooo delicious!!! They have really good ice cream here. I tried the Chocolate Devotion and Coffee Lover. Delicious! They have a variety of toppings to choose from. The cleanliness of the store was great and the employees were friendly. I could have given it a 5 star rating if the employees would have greeted me and my love when we walked through the door. Tonight I went into cold stones and two young ladies were working. The one that helped me approached with the worse attitude I have ever seen in this establishment. Making smirks as I asked her simple questions. I ordered three ice creams for my fiancé and our daughter. I still tipped her a couple of dollars because that's how I was raised. Upon leaving she whispered something to her co worker and started laughing. Honestly she should not be working an establishment where kids go. I would never take my daughter there again!!
