We used to come here about 18 years ago with our oldest girls. It is nestled in the corner of the shopping center. We had a Cotton Candy with sprinkles, Strawberry with strawberries and sprinkles, and a Cheese Cake with Strawberries. It was yummy and my girls were happy. They could really use a deep cleaning where they set their display cones and some new ice cream trays as theirs are pretty beat up. Maybe even line up the ice cream under the correct flavor names. Just a little pride of owndership. I am sure the items that needed to be clean are just presentation and cleanliness around the station. The girl working today was masked and friendly. I'm sure everyone would say the same thing but with all the hype around dubai chocolate I thought the experience would of been better. The staff were unpleasant even with no business. Firstly, I'd like to say, this is a "creamery". A creamery is a place dealing with cream. The place is existing for ice cream and also shakes. However, this very place seems to hire kids with a "BurgerKing mentality", in which, when you ask for a shake, they see it fit to explain that they cannot make shakes, either due to the machine being broken, cleaned or, believe it or not, they're out of milk. Hiring people that just do not care is running this business into the ground. I never returned. I will not do so in the future. It's more expensive than anywhere else anyway. Other places do shakes that are just as good, if not, better. Also, the atmosphere sucks. Not recommend at all. To the young man working July 13, 2020 around 9pm. I'm sorry if you've had a bad day but that's no excuse for you to treat my husband and I so badly with your customer service. Also, I get that we all need to wear a mask in the establishment making it difficult to hear each other. However, this young man was rushing(we were the only ones there) and dropped the ice cream that he scooped up right before mixing the ingredients. Karma must have wanted you to slow down and be nice. But instead continued to rush my husband to order. My husband asked for his ice cream to be in a cone. This young man only gave us the option of picking from the waffle cups. Even though we told him that's not what we wanted he continued to argue with us. We gave up and we were not satisfied with our order. This location is tucked away near the corner of litchfield and indian school. If you don't have GPS you may get lost trying to find it but, once you do you're in a good spot. I've come here more times than I have ever checked in because I'm always sucked in by the welcoming ladies and gents that work at this location. Their energy is always great and they know what they're doing. Is it a smaller creamery but, the flow and ebb of the place is rather great so it never gets or feels too crowded. They offer everything any other cold stone offers as well as a military discount. The one thing i did notice recently is the water faucets are not in working order. Must be a bad day but I'm right here Saturday night at cold stone, with two young girls at the register laughing at a long line of customers 18 to be exact. For some reason they seem to think it's funny not helping and taking their time .... moving very slow while they both laugh at customers. Disturbing because I've been coming here for years on my way home to pick up my husband's favorite ice cream and never had a problem in fact never seen a line like today, usually staff is very friendly, do your self a favor ...stay clear until these rude employees are gone. they seem to laugh every time customers walk out the door angry and in discuss of their obvious behavior.
