We had an unusual experience at Cold Stone... Our ice cream was put into the cup melting. The service was great, awesome options, and extremely clean location inside.. a bit difficult to find but you'll figure it out once you loop around the mini strip mall. The ice cream or shall I say "creation" itself was a bit off putting. Perhaps it's the heat from the Blimpi sand which spot located within the premise? Not quite sure, but Cold Stone Creamery is best serviced cold, and when the creation you've ordered is being made, it should still be chilled and hard rather than a melting mess. Which unfortunately seemed to be our issue. Prices are definitely on the much steeper side of ice cream, we were charged 7.99 per creation and it melted even more as we walked it. A tad bit, Na, who am kidding.. PRETTY disappointing. Here's to these business owners fixing the issue, and trying it out again. Cheers Yelpers

There was free parking and tons of seating indoors. The staff was quick and the ice cream was good.

I wanted to sooth my sweet tooth and save some money since I had a Cold Stone gift card so I came here. Upon my arrival I was greeted by multiple servers. Great service, no problem. I place my order and patiently wait for it. I am smiling from the inside out with excitement because my ice cream was coming!!! I ordered one of their flavors which was cake batter ice cream with regular and golden Oreos and whipped cream. All of my favorites wrapped in one, can't go wrong with that right? Well... I'm not sure what went wrong, but the 1st bite was the best and then after that things went down hill. There was a terrible aftertaste and I wasn't sure if it was from the ice cream base or if it was from a mixture of the flavors. Either way, it went from a party in my mouth, to not. I was a little disappointed because I really wanted some delicious ice cream and I wanted to try a new flavor. What I learned from this experience, in this case was to stick to what I know and not get out of my comfort zone (unfortunately). If I'm in the area I may return if I have a jonesin for a like it size Founder's Favorite...

It's been a long time since I've been to a Cold Stone. I enjoy their items and selections. Unfortunately, I can not give this 5 stars because there were a couple of improvements that could have been made. Service: There were only two employees working and it seem that they were having trouble trying to keep up with the domain of customers at the time of service. Service was greeted with a smile and trying to work as fast as possible but I feel there could be some additional training. Counter for preparation of orders was pretty dirty. In addition, it seem as if they don't care about appearance of the store even when being shared by a sandwich shop. Food: My order was made correctly but I was little scared to even order due to it not being as clean as it should be in the prep area. Overall: There is a lot improvements that need to be made at this particular location. If you blink you will miss it. I wish nothing but the best for them in the future but they will need to clean up a little to make it a better experience.

Ice cream is not mixed well enough.

If you see Lucas working... run!!! Does not mix the ice cream enough. Just folds in once and calls it a day. I understand if it's tough to break down. But at least mix it to where every bite should have the toppings ordered. That's the point, right?

A great spot for great ice cream. I haven't been to a Cold Stone Creamery in ages. I finally visited one because an awesome LivingSocial deal I bought. $4 for $8 at Cold Stone! I visited this Cold Stone and the one in Culver City. (I went to the wrong location by accident. The LivingSocial was only valid at the El Segundo location. Oops!). At least I had the opportunity to compare both the El Segundo and the Culver City location! Between the two, I prefer the El Segundo Cold Stone. The reason is because it is bigger, CLEANER, and there are more signature ice cream options than the one in Culver City. Also, the ice cream here was more fresh... if that makes sense. I enjoyed the signature ice cream I had and I will be back! Sooner rather than later! Quick Tip: If you shop at the Ralphs in El Segundo on Sepulveda, there's a coupon at the back of their receipt for the Cold Stone Creamery in El Segundo! :D I think it's buy one with one mix in, get one free!

One of my favorite locations since it is like a local hidden gem! Hardly ever need to wait and the staff is great!

Words can't even begin to describe the excitement I feel when I hear someone say, "Let's go to Cake…read moren Bake!" I get this crazy, emotional, cosmic energy that makes me want to jump up and down, cry tears of joy, and yell, "¡Vamos a Cake n Bake!"...and I don't even speak Spanish! I honestly feel like I ate Cake n Bake in a former life and somehow found it again. I could literally eat their cakes every single day. My boyfriend and I discovered Cake n Bake one afternoon after lunch when we were craving dessert. It was easy to find, and street parking wasn't difficult either. (Just be careful crossing the street--the drivers can be a little crazy!) As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and helped right away. They have a beautiful display of cakes baked fresh daily, with both individual slices and whole cakes, along with cheesecakes. On our first visit, we ordered the Tres Leches cake, Vanilla Berry cake, Carrot cake, Chocolate Cherry cake, and two servings of banana pudding. I couldn't even wait until I got home--I opened the container and started eating in the car. One bite of the Chocolate Cherry cake and I was instantly hooked. The cake was incredibly moist, the tart cherries were plump and juicy, and the whipped frosting was light, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I honestly can't wait for my birthday because I fully intend to order an entire Chocolate Cherry cake just for myself. The banana pudding tasted just like my Yia Yia's (grandma's) homemade banana pudding, which says a lot. The carrot cake quickly became another favorite of mine. Since that first visit, we've already gone back three more times! We've also tried the pear cake, and the spinach cake and honey cake are next on our list. I almost forgot--they also serve coffee and refreshers. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I absolutely love their refreshers. They're made with fresh fruit purée and sparkling water, served in a really nice cup that I honestly wanted to keep. The customer service is just as amazing as the desserts. We stopped by on Father's Day later in the afternoon and were so happy they were still open. I was disappointed because they had sold out of the Chocolate Cherry cake, but the gentleman helping us actually went into the kitchen and made me one. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. I really need to remember to take pictures the next time we go because I want everyone to see what I consider dessert perfection. If you're anywhere near Cake n Bake, do yourself a favor and stop in. Just be warned...you'll probably be back again and again! They have a nice seating area in a cover patio in front and to be honest I can't remember if they have tables inside because I'm always focused on the cakes in the display.

Absolute danger zone for anyone trying to eat clean. Every single thing looked unreal, but the…read moreHoney Cake stole the show -- hands down the best thing there. Perfect balance, rich without being too heavy, and ridiculously fresh. The Chocolate Cake came in strong at a close second... deep flavor, smooth texture, and not overly sweet like most places. You can tell this bakery actually cares about quality instead of just making things look pretty for Instagram. Friendly people, clean spot, and the smell alone when you walk in should be illegal. Definitely one of those places you try once and then keep coming back for "just one slice."

We came here during our trip to watch World Cup at SoFi Stadium…read more I was specifically looking for a Cuban bakery in the area to take some guava rolls and this place did not disappoint. I bought a dozen to take home and it was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and flakiness. This is a mom and pop place where you can either dine in or take some to go. The place is very clean, quaint and homey. The lady spoke to us in Spanish at first but then she probably realized that we're non-Hispanic speaking visitors. They have sandwiches and rice plates from the menu as well as dessert and of course Cuban coffee. There is only one person attending the restaurant but she manages to keep the flow going. We will be back here to try the sandwiches and rice plates.
