I never personally tasted any ice cream here. But I figured since my son gracefully requested a double chocolate chip mint to-go, might as well give a quick first impression of Cold Stone Creamery. I've seen this place in passing plenty of times. But it wasn't till I walked in that I remembered, "that's right--they're famous for mixing their ice cream toppings on a countertop!" Yeah. Like, RIGHT on the countertop. Or it could have been a cutting board of sorts, I'm not sure. Aaaaanywho.. Obviously, they have more flavors than Baskin Robbins and the grocery store combined. Same with the toppings. And...I ain't gonna lie; I definitely saw some flavors there I wouldn't mind trying. Most of which involve Reese's peanut butter in just about every form you could possibly imagine. It's just a shame that I don't really eat sweets anymore. Or when I do, it's extremely rare. Still, if El Paso can't have a Friendly's (y'all westerners don't know), we may as well have a Cold Stone. I hereby grant them 4 chocolate mint tubs with M&Ms mixed in out of 5. I always have and always will love Cold Stone Creamery!! Not just because of their delicious selection of ice cream flavors and toppings, but i always looked forward to tipping them and hear their lil tipping jig lol. Well at least that was the case a few years back but i dont think they bother with a jig these days. Oh well, such is life. As long as they never change their cookie dough and pecan options for Add ins, we're good! I dont know what it is about the combonation of the 2 but i thought of it since i was in high school half my lifetime ago and have not turned away since! What i wish they would do is bring back their vanilla bean ice cream flavor option. Good lord was that a majestic flavor! It was so perfect with the cookie dough and pecans and i was devastated to realize it was never coming back. Sweet cream is the next best thing. Well, im glad they do military discount here so its not costing me an entire arm and leg. But even without it, i would give up both limbs for this scrumptious treat! I had a coupon for a free cup of ice cream. It was valid until 12/31/2022. I tried to redeem it on the 30th. I stood in line for 15 to 20 mins. They were short staffed, so I understand that. However, by the time that I get to order it, I was then told by an employee that it was no good because they had a new owner. They don't value coupons anymore??? What the ... is going on ??? The employee was rude we will not honor that coupon. The way she said it was extremely rude. So long story short This place is true crap and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs. Baskin Robbins is a much better place to go. read more

Well to start... the oreo overload had a ton of chocolate chips and 1 oreo cookie. No fudge topping and the girl mixed PEANUT BUTTER in it. I'm allergic to peanuts! There's inside and outside seating. The tables are made for two people, so maybe going in a big group isn't the best idea.. Military discount here. ALSO.... pregnant lady discount!!! This only applies to normal ice cream orders, not shakes or anything like that. You must be obviously pregnant or provide an ultrasound picture. This is my new favorite ice cream spot. I was greeted as soon as I came in, as well as the young lady asked if there was anything I needed to help me decide what I wanted. She took her time and made sure I had what I wanted and even asked if I was a veteran, which I am not, because she wanted to make sure that I received any discounts that may be available to me. Great ice cream flavors and mixtures. Their birthday cakes are really good too and I have used them several times for my sons birthdays. Tons of different options with always something new to try, but I like sticking to the strawberry blonde with a waffle cone. We came here twice (separate nights) to use our groupon coupon. Our first experience was good. The man who was serving us was very patient and made our coupon work! Our second night, last night, the shift leader was the one checking us out. She was not very friendly and when we told her about our groupon, her attitude turned for the worst! The man who checked us out before helped her and told her how he did our transaction the other night to.make the process easier. She was completely rude about it and very unwilling.
