Wow, where do I start! I was a fat little kid in the dang store, everything was fresh and looked so good. I am not going to go into what I ate and tell you how delish it was...okay I lied I am... The smores strawberry was huge and great, same with the oreo strawberry...but my FAVORITES WERE THE CAKE POPS! ALL OF THEM! My son took a bite of his strawberry and cookie and said that is soooo good. So there you have it, it has my approval and a 5 year olds. :) Everything is priced really well and I schooled the owner "Olga" I think on what Yelp was and how it could help here and her business as I started taking several photos. Review update: I've been here several times since they opened. I'm still not a cake pop fan, but Glamour Sweets may change that. They have stepped the game up. The cake pops are more moist now and to be honest, it beats getting a large slice of cake. Just a little something to curb your sugar cravings. I love that they usually have a sale of some sort. And now they have the chili powder veggies and fruit tacos. Better tasting cakes and still the same great customer service. read more

I have to give a big ol' thank you to Jason J for introducing me to Glamour Sweets. He presented me with a box of chocolate covered pretzels and cake pops that I ate like a lady when in public, but devoured completely when I got home. Loved them all. Alas, I live in the kingdom of Far Far Away and rarely found myself on the Far Eastside. So I stayed in my tower telling myself that some day my dreams would come true and I'd find myself inside GS. If you wish hard enough (or have a car) this is possible for anyone! Dreams do come true! A couple of days ago I found myself in GS. Clean, well-lit, and overall a pleasant environment. There's a couple of chairs and tables if you like to enjoy your sweets as soon as they're handed over. The owner greeted me immediately with a warm welcome and told me about the different treats available. You definitely have options here and at an extremely reasonable price. They have possibly the lowest prices I've seen for sweet treats in EP. I eventually came to the decision of a chocolate covered pretzel, chocolate covered grape kebobs with caramel, a Nutella strawberry and a cookies and cream strawberry. Yes. Just yes. Do all of this. I ended up with the grapes on the recommendation of the owner and it's crazy how fantastic that combo is. I've never really thought about grapes with chocolate, but I like wine and chocolate so it makes sense. The Nutella strawberry just has that Hazelnutty goodness taste. The pretzel...you just can't go wrong with. And the cookies and cream strawberry is exactly what you imagine and hits the spot. Cute cute little store! Can't take photos of the store not even for Yelp. A little silly if you ask me and since you are reading my review you did ask me. Ha. Anyway we got some strawberries. Delicious and fresh. I prefer the plain chocolate covered style but the gourmet is pretty good too. We brought home some cake pops. Not bad. Nothing spectacular but good. And finally the chocolate covered marshmallow. Yum. That we ate in the car. It's a HUGE marsh mellow too. Really good. Downside? The girl working today was not pleasant in the slightest bit. She seemed like we were annoying her. Honestly based on her unpleasant attitude with us makes me not want to return. And plus she didn't bother to ask to see my id and card isn't signed for a reason. read more

My husband and I went in hoping to find truffles... but they only had chocolate dipped fruit and cake pops. Even though they didn't have what we were looking for, they're cake pops are AMAZING. We also tried the oreos and rice crispy treats. Will definitely be going back! read more

I LOVE this place! I live down the street so I go there about once a week. They offer daily specials M-Th and military discount, and "frequent flyer card". I pretty much always get the cake pops, YUM! Under $2 and much bigger than other places. They are always coming out with new flavors. read more

Let's see...where can I start. I came today for Valentine's Day and there was a small line of about 6 people that soon doubled in number. The place is tiny so soon after I started to feel claustrophobia. It's a very cozy and clean place however. I don't think the staff prepared adequately for this holiday. The majority of the clients there seemed to had pre-ordered online and had an appointment pick-up time, but they all had to wait at least 45 minutes past their appointment. Many of them were upset and/or frustrated. I went to pick up some treats for my niece. She is small so I figured a few were sufficient for her age and we also limit her sugar intake. Since I've heard so many good things about this place I decided to give it a try. Take in mind that I didn't pre-order. The man at the register would ask the crowd who had placed online orders which was everyone except me. While everyone else waited for their orders not once did they ask if they can assist me. My order didn't require special time. What I wanted was already in their displays. I had already walked through and knew what I wanted. It was finally my turn and the man asked me if I had pre-ordered. I said no and he said he would be right back. I waited 15 minutes in addition to the 45 minutes I had already waited before he came back. While I waited a lady spoke up and told the man that she couldn't wait any longer as she needed to pick up her son from school. I must admit that the man was very apologetic and kept letting us all know that he would be right with us, but I feel he should've been more specific or given an estimate of what he meant "right with us". For example, "give me 15 minutes and I'll be right with the next customer in line". Anyway, back to lady...he tells her that he will go check in the back and leaves. Another lady comes out from the back and tells her says that it's not ready since the chocolate hasn't settled and she doesn't want to pick the strawberries up or they will ruin, to give her about 5 minutes. The client argues that she needs to pick up her son. The lady tells her that they have been very busy and are trying their best. This place is small so everyone in there is listening and watching the whole thing go on. The client then replies, "then I don't understand why you make appointments if the order won't be ready at that time". The lady then tells her well I can just refund you or you can wait. The client says I need to pick up my son. The lady proceeds to tell her ok let me refund you and the lady says no I'll just be back. She leaves frustrated. At the end of my hour there I was finally able to pay for my 3 items and walk out into fresh air. It was all an unorganized chaos. I think next time they should hire more staff or come up with a WAY better plan. I'd say stay away during holidays. This was my first time there and it wasn't a good experience. read more
