This place is our family fav for our neighborhood ice cream joint. The ice cream flavors are consistently delicious. If you ever buy me a birthday cake, please get the Coldstone Coffeehouse Crunch - hands down my all time fav cake! The service is just ok. Not overly friendly or helpful, but never rude. I took away one star for ambiance because the outdoor garbage cans are ALWAYS overflowing.

Ice cream, shakes, smoothies, cakes, its all good and smiles for me... I don't come to these places too often. I've been here a few times, and it never disappoints!

I got the chocolate ganache and banana ice cream with kit kat. The ice cream is "stretchy" but is lacking in flavor, is not very rich, and ultimately is not that satisfying. In short, if you want cheap ice cream, McDonald's is a better bet (and this was not as cheap as McDonald's). If you want quality ice cream in the burbs get the custard at Culver's. If you want really good ice cream go into St Paul for either Izzy's or Grand Ole Creamery.

Cupcake is located in a large plaza. You can't miss the signage of a huge cupcake in blue and pink. I parked in one of the curbside pickup spots. I was picking up a takeout order and felt that it was fine. While waiting for a nice woman to fetch my order, I was looking at the desserts. This place has ice cream, macarons, and lots of baked goods. The chocolate croissant caught my attention. I knew that I needed to get one. When the woman returned with my Mason Jar Kitchen order, I asked if I could get the chocolate croissant. Yes! She got me one and placed it in a paper bag. I paid with a credit card. I also managed to include a tip. It was straightforward. I thanked the woman and headed back to the hotel to have lunch. I had the chocolate croissant as an afternoon snack. The croissant was okay. It was buttery, but it wasn't as flaky has I had hoped. It was more dense like a paperweight. I wanted flaky and airy. The chocolate was yummy. I prefer dark chocolate and loved it. I feel the need to go back and consume more items. The cakes and cheesecakes looked yummy. I was too early to take advantage of 50% off all pastries after 3 pm. I need to come back after this time and see if I can find a pastry that wows me. (459)

The frosting was a very silky buttercream frosting the best thing about it, the cake was dried out, very dissatisfied and disappointing. They do sell Sebastian Joes ice cream however, perhaps to draw people in to get them to buy their cupcakes.

She even shared that we have the same birthday, hers is just one day later, April 30, which made it extra fun. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. Of course, I couldn't leave without treating my team, so we picked up lemon, Oreo, and chocolate chocolate chip. All were a hit. Nothing Bundt Cake has become such a favorite of mine. I love the boutique feel, and I almost always leave with something I didn't plan on buying. And the cake really is the best out there. Sandra was a sweet surprise and Nothing Bundt Cake is lucky to have her.

What I don't love is that the franchise owner of this location (and the other one closest to me) chooses to not carry the Classic Vanilla flavor. I don't know if it's a new owner because I used to get that one every time we went, and it's still listed as available at other stores that aren't near me, the employee there just told me the owner chooses not to carry it. Sure, vanilla can be boring but it IS a flavor and theirs is very good. We'd usually buy half a dozen bundtlets each time we went. Their other flavors are fine, just not my favorite. And everyone who tried the vanilla when I'd grab a few extra all loved it too. Obviously the owner can do whatever she wants but not carrying classic vanilla is definitely... a choice. It's good enough that I'll drive out of the way to get one for a special occasion but disappointing I can no longer just stop by when I feel like having one. I could just get another flavor because as I said they're all good, but I won't, the vanilla is too good.
