The worst part was ambience, the vent right above the ice cream had left a pretty bad dirt stain all down the wall and the ceiling. This made me guess that it had been spitting dirt and smut all over the ice cream and the utensils used to serve it. Very disgusting and disappointing. The ice cream was great, probably the only thing that gave it a star. Service wasn't too bad, the lady that helped me just didn't seem to enjoy her job and bummed me out a little. After looking at other reviews, it looked like the owners aren't super caring for their employees, so it makes sense that the lady didn't seem happy. Pretty sad. read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THE OWNERS OF THIS LOCATION . Owner does not care for his employees or work ethics. They have been stealing wages from employees and lying about hard earned promotions by working there management without paying for there work . No establishment should treat there staff so poorly. The Staff at this location is amazing and it's disappointing to see a Cold Stone franchise owner not appreciate the employees that make them profit and provide them with continued customer service that brings business . DO NOT WORK HERE. I worked at Coldstone for a while. I loved working with my coworkers and working there in general with the managers I had, however the owner is absolutely the most immature man I have ever encountered. First, I had to ask him to start emailing my pay stubs because he wasn't automatically doing it. Then when I asked him for all of them he barely acknowledge this. He still has not given them to me which can only lead me to assume things. I also was receiving my payment directly into my savings account regularly until one day I didn't. They were going through perfectly fine before. I brought this to his attention and he handled it very poorly. He sent me a check (late I might add :/ ) the first time but I had no pay stub to see if he took money from this check. After this he told me to fill out a form so that the money would go into my checking account, so I did expecting I would get my money on time the next paycheck...only I didn't. I tell him and he says I should have my money. I then call my bank to see what is the problem and turns out he has it listed as going into my savings instead of my checking so my bank is not accepting it. So I tell him this and tell him what needs to be fixed and that he can send a check or deposit the money again. He sends a check...only he takes money out of it to pay for shipping when I told him he could deposit once he fixed the problem. It also was not a mistake on my end that the money did not go through. I bring this up to him along with the fact that I was told by my managers that I would get a promotion to shiftlead that has a raise because I was doing the work of a shiftlead but then told I wouldn't get that promotion until Dan had met me. I told him this and how he hasn't made an effort to meet me so it seems unfair. He then told me to "change your tone" and talk to my managers. (Normally I am professional right, but he was so damn petty with me, like bruh?! Who are you to tell me to change my tone? Not my mom that's for sure so please excuse any of my own pettiness...I could be the bigger person but I don't think he even deserves that ) I told him I was simply standing my ground and bringing up concerns and he did not contact me after that. So I wait a few days and contact him asking for the money he took from my check and my pay stubs. He refused to pay me the money and did not acknowledge the pay stubs. He was very rude about it and so I told him that he is legally required to keep record of payroll, so he should have them and that he needed to send me them. Then I said I was effectively resigning as of that day. His response was and I quote "Good Goodbye!! I don't work for you" he still has not given me my pay stubs as of today and I told him I would be taking action then he said and I quote again "Lose me number" (guess he was just in a silly goofy mood telling me what to do after I quit and all he also told me to lose his number twice because i sent a screenshot of another review on here saying he took money from his employees) so do with that information what you will, but it definitely feels like something is going on behind the scenes...you would think he would easily be able to email me at least my pay stubs but he had also asked when I started working there which makes me believe that maybe he doesn't have them... Ultimately my review of Dan is 0/10 :) he not only is difficult to work with but he does not value his employees. Multiple of his employees have felt that he not only is hard to work with but also gaslights and talks down to them, including me. This location seems to only be run by teenagers with attitude. They were in a hurry, they gave me the wrong size of ice cream, and the wrong flavor. They were rude when I asked for a lid and bag for the ice cream because I was taking it to go. Not worth the money read more

Cold stone has signature ice cream and all their ice cream is consistent with all other franchise locations visited in other states. However, this particular location seems to struggle with customer service. They didn't have any carry bags for their ice cream cakes. Have also seen no front line staff while customers having to wait to be served as all the workers were in the back area. It only takes a little customer service to make this place a more enjoyable visit . read more

Quite possibly the worst ice cream cone I've ever purchased. We walked in and there was not a line or anybody in the building, but there was ice cream sitting on the counter melting and inside the "freezer", which was not a good sign to begin with. I asked for a small cone (think child sized) of French vanilla with banana mixed in. The employee proceeded to scoop some ice cream that was not even frozen, barely chop up the banana (2 huge chunks), and try to make it stick in the cone. Once it was dripping everywhere, he was going to hand it to me - there was not even ice cream on top of the cone, just in the inside. He then decided to stick it in a bowl and charged me $8.50. We stopped in for ice cream last night here at Cold Stone. We loved the product but the customer service was terrible! The trainee did not smile and had the attitude of not wanting to be there. He also took our order wrong. It was very disappointing. A family of 5 came in after us but because it took the kid so long with us, the family left. Not worth the Money. I've been going to Cold Stone for years and never had a problem. Cold Stone is known for their over sized portions so I always order a like it size, but this time the ice cream barely filled the cup! Terrible customer service and very inadequate cake decorating skills. I ordered a cake 3 days in advance and scheduled a pick up time, I arrived on the scheduled day and they told me my cake wasn't done yet and to come back in 15 minutes. I came back to a cake that wasn't what I had ordered. I payed $35 for a cake that wasn't frosted all the way and with the wrong toppings saying "Hopoy Biahdoy." I will be taking all of my future ice cream cake needs to Dairy Queen. read more

Place seems to be run by teens so the calls for mediocre service is warranted. My biggest complaint is the freezer. We have been in a few evenings since Softies closed and are disappointed by the lack of freeze on the product. Ice cream seems to be melting before it even makes it into the bowl. Don't know if this is Cold Stone trying to save money or bad management on the part of the owners. Either way the 17 yr old isn't gonna be the individual that solves this issue. read more
