I decided to order two lemon cupcakes and two birthday cupcakes. There were only two birthday cupcakes left, so I guess I timed it right. I stopped by for some ice cream and ended up leaving with something much more valuable. We talked for a long time about life, purpose, and the challenges we all go through. Patrick shared advice that genuinely touched me, and I know it's something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. You can tell he's the kind of person who truly cares about others and has an incredibly kind heart. At the end of our conversation, he told me the ice cream was on him because of the meaningful conversation we had. Then he even stepped out of the truck just to give me a hug. That simple act of kindness meant more than he probably realizes. The ice cream was amazing, but the people behind this business are even better. I went with a cup of the cappuccino crunch, which has a good mix of coffee and chocolate flavors. It's creamy and sweet without being too sweet. That said, it's not Ben & Jerry's. It just tastes less fresh. Probably because it has nasty stuff like partially hydrogenated soy bean oil in it. Anyway, I don't regret going, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
