Didn't take pictures but husband had biscuits and gravy and side order hashbrowns and I had the chicken fried steak. Plus coffee!! Everything was AMAZING! Small but cozzy! We sat facing the street and it was cool to people watch. Husband even said, "I think we just found our new place to eat!" And I couldn't agree more. Had an outstanding omelette. Came with hash browns and toast. Coffee was very good. They were very accommodating, I was able to swap a few items. Brought me salsa for my omelette and 1/2 and 1/2 for my coffee. Tiny place - 3 larger tables and 3 or four two tops. read more

Ordered #5 Scramble - diced and bagged frozen potatoes - I see what appears to be fresh cut potatoes on other reviews but this was not the case for my order. Coffee is definitely over sold as it was offered about 4 times during my breakfast. Value for 2 - I really felt scammed. 33 dollars for frozen potatoes, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and I think one plate had some onion on it. Not sure if that was an accident? I have to think maybe the omelette is better but I wouldn't hold my breath for jugged liquid egg. Blah, staff were friendly. I went there several times with my family when I went to Seattle Premium Outlet mainly on Saturday. Only one time we missed it since they closed early. I loved their club sandwiches which is really tasty and the burger my son ordered was good too. That's why we keep coming back to stop by on the way to or back from the outlet even we live in Lynnwood. I even like the atmosphere and the decor of the store like the 60's. They have all those old car pictures on the walls. I guess the owners are those who work there and they look like grandpa and grandma cooking for family light meal. read more

My son and went in here because the Strawberry Patch next door was closed. We left feeling unsatisfied. Maybe it's because our heart was set on the Strawberry Patch's menu and fulfilling portions? For $30 we got 2 shakes a mushroom Swiss and a side burger patty with cheese. The burgers were very small and didn't come close to fitting the bun and were so thin you couldn't even tell there was a burger there hiding between the buns. We were charged full price for my son's burger patty and didn't even receive fries. I feel a little cheated I have to say. I was in the area and decided to stop and give this place a try. What a disappointment! 2 stars, for good service, but nothing else! I ordered the corned beef hash as I do most of the time when I go to diners for breakfast. As I was sipping away at my coffee, I had a clear view to the back of the kitchen and saw the cook place a huge can on the counter. My first thought was "please God, no!!"Deep down I was praying it wasn't corned beef hash, but to my utter disappointment it was exactly that....so I paid $10 for corned beef hash straight out of a can with nothing added to it? YEP! The least they could have done was add a little something for garnish. Nope! Needless to say, I will never be coming back. Great hole between the "walls" still there from when they built small diners between buildings. Not a lot of seating for big groups, but if your looking for a quick stop with good food and smiles all around your next destination is here. I didn't take photos because it just felt wrong with the atmosphere. Pictures of ole cars and friends cover the walls, elbow with your past neighbor or new friend. Getting the taxes done stirred up our appetite. We checked out the Colby Diner since they had some solid reviews. Very small and quaint 50s/60s style diner. When I say small, I mean only about 6 or 8 tables. The service was awesome. Very friendly and prompt. If your looking for a huge menu with a ton of options, you might want to move on. However, if your looking for a home cooked staple for breakfast, this is worth a shot. I ordered the Denver omelette. Very hearty and mighty delicious. The biscuits are homemade and buttered and grilled. The only reason giving this place 4 stars is the fact that a side of gravy is $3.50. The gravy is not a knock your socks off gravy. It's ok, but not worthy of the price. Overall, this place is good if your in a hurry and not needing to wait in line for 20 mins. Give it a shot. read more

What a great hole in the wall! We stopped in before going to an event at the Xfinity Arena. We were disappointed that we missed breakfast by ten minutes, but were not disappointed by lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese that was cheesy and buttery with what I think we're hand cut fries. My BF ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and had too much food, which is unusual for him! The decor is spot on and the pictures of the classic cars on the walls brought everything together. Finally, I highly recommend the fresh banana shake! We'll be back for breakfast! read more

The reviews brought us here while passing through. My husband is particularly fond of biscuits and gravy. The place is very small and some folks left when told there was a 20-minute wait. The waitress was super friendly and pleasant. The restroom was very clean. The eggs were done beautifully and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Here ends the praise. Coffee was mediocre, biscuits were mushy, and although I was given 2 huge patty sausages, they were greasy and under-cooked. In this day and age, a diner doesn't have to be a greasy spoon. Upon entering greeted by a humble older gentleman running the kitchen and restaurant solely - Admiring the photos of vintage car collections on the walls while waiting, bringing nostalgic memories of how simple life used to be having local mom and pop shops - to the mouth watering delectable breakfast that tasted like a home cooked meal. Colby Diner is such a cute little hole in the wall. Relatively small space, however it has great food for a great price ($7-$13). We come here whenever we visit from WSU, and the owner/workers are very friendly. For breakfast we have gotten the chicken fried stake with sourdough toast ($12) and the pancake, 2 eggs, and bacon plate ($7). For lunch we got the philly cheese sandwich and the burger dip. The owner cooks it all himself and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. Sadly, he said this will be his last year open so try this place out while you can! read more

We both got the scramble, which was actually a LOT of potatoes and very little egg. It was just okay. We got there at 9:00 am and at 10:06 am, the cook (owner?) came to our table saying that they were going to need our table and we had to go. No apology at all. Found this place on yelp and thought I'd give it a try. It was during the week in the morning when I went and only a few people in there. Was greeted by Mike, the owner, and he took great care of us.
