They put new washers and dryers of different sizes. I have more choices. I can use bigger washers for my big blankets and small washer for small laundry. There are top load and front load machines, which I can choose. They had quick response whenever there was an issue.

Old run down and dirtiest laundromat I've used to date

This place is aweful..Don't plan on coming back here..They should just close this location. Machines are broken and appear to have been that way for a LONG time. Everything is old and grimey. Eww..Hope my clothes come out the other side OK. I left a few pictures just in case anyone has any doubts

I've discovered that this laundromat has for more cleaning power and is more economical than using the Laundromat at my apartments, so here I am, writing a review of a laundromat. The place inside is dingy and worn but does not seem filthy, which is good. The folding tables are very worn out and beat up but still serve their purpose well. If you buy detergent from the machine you're a chump. Stater Bros. is next door. Just spend the extra cash and buy a decent quantity of soap. Since I do a weekly wash, I come early to take advantage of the big, high-efficiency washers near the entrance. They are a bit rough on clothes, even on the delicate cycle, so if you want a lighter touch, conventional top-loading washers are interspersed among the Big Berthas. I think this is a great idea because then you don't have to pay for another big washer or try to cram that last bit into an already stuffed washer. We personally spend about $16 to do our weekly wash, which is pricey but we wear a lot of clothes. The laundromat is staffed with a creepy-looking dude who will do your laundry, fold it, and hang up your shirts for a fee. I ain't rich so I choose to wash and fold my own. He also has quarters available if the change machine doesn't like your money. Prices vary by machine, the big front-loading HE washers run between $5 and $6 per wash depending on the setting used. Old school top-loaders are $2.25 per wash, and dryer time is a quarter for every 5 minutes. About 1/3 of the machines are broken and don't look like they'll be repaired any time soon, so that's a minus star in my book, otherwise I'd call it a four-star wash. Opening hours are 8am to 9pm most days, not sure about the weekends.

I just don't understand why laundromats are not held to a higher standard. I understand that we are not eating at these locations but we are trying to get clothes clean. This place is filthy and it scared me every time something actually dropped on the floor. I had my kids with me so I had to lay out towels on the floor just so they had a clean place to sit. So much for those towels getting clean. And only have a washer and dryer at home but for a couple months we have to go to the laundromat. The only nice thing is as I'm able to get five loads done and folded within a couple hours. This place does allow me to do that and the machines did seem to work fine. just had a little dirtier after being there than I did before. ...strange feeling when you go someplace to get your stuff clean!

Took my money, so I left a warning.

Many out of commission washers and dryers. Overpriced washers and dryers. Dryers are 25 cents for 4 minutes and they do not get that hot, even on High. Refurbish this place already!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS - DISGUSTING SERVICE & DISCRIMINATION…read more I hired 4th Ave Cleaners for wash-and-fold laundry for both my business and personal clothing. Before starting, I spoke directly with the owner, Ms. Mason, who assured me everything would be handled professionally and delivered in white bags or clean, see-through bags. That is NOT what happened. When I met the delivery driver and casually mentioned that I am Jewish, his entire demeanor changed. The attitude was immediate, uncomfortable, and unmistakable. I have never experienced antisemitism in San Diego before this. Then came the delivery. My laundry arrived:    *   DIRTY    *   Stuffed into BLACK TRASH BAGS    *   4 items MISSING    *   1 shirt COMPLETELY DESTROYED Let me be very clear: This was not a mistake. This was negligence at best and discriminatory behavior at worst. I trusted this company with clothing that represents my livelihood. What I received instead was disrespect, property damage, and a situation that felt targeted and degrading. This business failed on every level:    *   Hygiene    *   Professionalism    *   Accountability    *   Basic human decency If you value your belongings, your time, or your dignity -- STAY AWAY. I am urging anyone who has had similar experiences with lost items, damaged clothing, or discriminatory treatment from this business to come forward. This may warrant a class action lawsuit, and I am actively encouraging others to join in holding this company accountable. San Diego deserves better than this. ZERO STARS. Use this business at your own risk.

I walked in like a lost soul with my bag of clothes and Ms. Nayeli noticed me and asked me how she can help. What a display of outstanding customer service. She brought me back to the office to create a profile for me, she was very thorough with the process and made it easy , thank you Ms. Nayeli for the warm welcome It took roughly around 2.5 hours for me to get my pick up text , and i was then greeted by a Ms. Shiela or Sheena , my apologies it was a bit busy so i could not hear your name. But i too was warmly welcomed by her and if you are looking for a laundry establishment to get your laundry done, i highly recommend Swissh & Go I also wanted to thank the owner for showcasing his shadow box , i am a son of a veteran and wanted to thank the owner for his service to this country and his awesome laundry establishment.

The employee who helped me was so kind, attentive, and detailed -- she asked all of the right questions and handled my clothes with care. When I picked up my laundry, everything was perfectly folded, smelled super fresh, and was packaged so neatly, I even showed my friend (via FaceTime) because I was in absolute shock. You can tell they really take pride in what they do and care about their customers. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond with both quality and customer service, this is it. I used to wash my clothes sometimes twice and rewash them and soak them here. I hadn't been here for a year and I recently came back and they have BRAND NEW WASHERS. These washers wash incredibly good. I no longer have to use the top washer. I use the front loading washer now. It has a setting where it pre-washes the clothes rinses them and then I add detergent and it washes it a second time for me. It even has a setting where it'll wash your clothes essentially three times and rinse it twice. It has a setting where it can wash your clothes for almost 40 minutes. My clothes smells so fresh when they come out I use Purcell detergent and I started using borax the laundry booster. And a new rinse additive. I only pay a dollar more to double and triple wash my clothes sometimes two dollars more depending but it's very affordable. You don't have to worry about mold in the washer from an old washer or eating your coins and having to try to figure out how to get your money back. But most importantly, why is it called a "laundromat" instead of "laundrymat" anyway??? Dave runs a smooth ship, as this is one of the nicest and cleanest laundromats I have ever been to. They have your standard regular sized washers, but they also have giant 6 and 8 load machines that will have all of your blankets and comforters cleaned in a jiffy. So fresh and so clean clean. I was able to wash a large comforter, too big for a standard washer, along with another very large blanket and 3 standard "back of the couch" sized blankets in one of the 6 load washers for $9.25. Did I mention that they take cards? Although they do have a quarters machine (accepts $1s, $5s, and $10s), both the washers and dryers are one credit card swipe away from spinning their hearts out. It may not sound like much, but who wants to be stuck depositing 37 quarters to get that tumbler in motion. The dryers are seemingly new, very large, and quite fast. I was able to get all 5 items dryed in about 35 minutes while using two separate dryers. The dryers are run in short time increments, so it's no longer necessary to purchase a full 45 minute run when you only need a quick 20 minute dry. If you're pressed for time, take advantage of the fluff and fold laundry service that is $2lb for same day or $1.85lb for next day service. Conveniently, they also have laundry detergent for sale in case you forget your own. Dave, the owner, was really helpful with assisting me in determining the appropriately sized washer for my load, which was greatly appreciated. Not only did his doing so save me time, but it also saved me some cash. Thanks again Dave!

(I also have a history of bad experiences with the smaller load washers NOT spinning well so clothes are still on the wetter side and need more drying. then the dryers are hit or miss on their heat and drying ability which also used to vary the amount of time you got per quarter (eg used to vary from 18 to 21 min for$0.75 NOW I noticed it was only giving 5-min per quarter. oh and don't think 3 quarters will get a load dry. I average a min of $1.00 per SMALL load to typically $1.50 to $2.00 per load to dry. the day I had the 6 loads I actually split 2 load up thinking they would dry faster so I had 8 dryers. started the all with $1.00 and all needed from 2 to 6 more quarters to dry. so drying this day came to $13.00. my total washing and drying for the day came to $46.50 for 6 loads and 3+ hours of my day. the original owners used to run happy hour price on washers from like 6 am to 4 pm or so for like $2.25 a wash-but that was discontinued upon different owners. pros of the place are its, clean, usually no problem of washer/dryer availability, ample folding space, do ofnerdrop off fluff and fold, good/safe location (7-11 there as well as food and other businesses in location, parking available, machines take coins or card payment, always staffed, generally pet friendly...HOWEVER like everything today in this greedy world the increased pricing overshadows everything. enough to beg my landlord to put a washer-dryer in my rental (which they have agreed to do!). looking forward to a little extra change staying in my pocket and all the extra time ill now have for me and my dogs!
