Without making this a long-winded review I had an experience very similar to those mentioned by…read moreBrigitte and Jeremiah. The home we rented was not well maintained we fixed and cleaned many things myself because it was gross and because it was the nice thing to do. When we stopped renting the property we were charged over a thousand dollars in ridiculous fees for things like a closet being dirty (that was locked and inaccessible to us while we stayed there) and chalk on the patio (the kind that sprays off with a hose) amongst other things like being blamed for paint blemishes (that were there before we arrived) and broken furniture (broken upon our arrival) It looks like the organization rebranded to Itrip So. Idaho because they had such poor reviews. Do Not recommend.

iTrip Vacations is a joke. We were building a home in the area and needed a monthly rental with 4…read morebedrooms. Darleen is quick to call you back when you want to book a place but is nowhere to be found once your contact is signed. The pictures online of the home we rented for 3 months looked nothing like the actual home. The home was dirty and I had to get on my hands and knees to scrub the dirt and grime off the floors to make the home livable for me and my family. The home is pet friendly and the rug in the living room was dirty and smelled like pee. The back yard smelled like urine, there are rocks along the side of the house and I'm sure a previous dog had used the rock area to urinate. The home did not have a hose and no one ever called us back when we called to complain or ask questions. We purchased a hose and poured 10 gallons of white vinegar over the rocks and finally got rid of the smell. The house was infested with bugs and was told by iTrip that someone would come by to spray but no one ever came so we paid for a company ourselves because it was so bad. I would open the kitchen cabinet and there would be bugs in the drinking glasses. The kitchen had the bare minimum supplies and it was all probably bought at the dollar store. There were empty boxes everywhere of things they bought and then filled the garage with the boxes or filled the food pantry with boxes making little to no room. We called and asked if we could get rid of the boxes and they said yes. They advertise there is a water filter but that filter has probably not been changed in years and chunks of white junks are in the water, called and said "oh let me talk to Darleen about that" and nothing got resolved. The master bedroom had a filing cabinet as a dresser and the 3 other bedrooms did not have a dresser at all. A monthly rental should have dressers in each bedroom and should have things like a cheese grater and can opener but this home did not and the property management could care less. I could go on and on about the filthy house (oh don't get me started on the bathrooms!) but I won't because the main complaint is how they handled each situation. 90% of the time they didn't even call you back, when they would call back they would tell you what you wanted to hear but nothing ever happened. For example, the tree in the back yard had branches hanging so low to the ground that my kids couldn't play ball without the branches hitting them in the face. When we asked if the gardener could cut or trim them, their response was "ok we will talk to him". Then our next call to them 3 weeks later they said "well just ask him to do it when you see him". The branches were never cut. We pretty much took care of things ourselves and delt with the crispiness. We signed a contract that stated we could be month to month in that home until our home was done being built. We were informed in September that the owners wanted to come home for Christmas and wanted to stay in their home. We of course were upset because our home was supposed to be completed early January and did not want to move twice. Calls were made and messages were not returned. We called and wanted to speak to Darleen to let her know we were looking for a new place and when we finally spoke to her she tried to find us a new home but we wanted nothing more to do with iTrip. They burned us for $1,800 and charged us stating we didn't give notice when they were the ones saying we needed to be out before our home was completed. We should take taken them to court for the $1,800 because our contact said month to month in that home till our build was done. We left that crap hole and are paying the same price somewhere else and its 1000x better, it's a 2 yr old home, 2x the size, pet friendly, has a beautiful kitchen and a jacuzzi in the backyard. Whatever you do keep looking and keep calling other places! Friendly warning not to book with this company. They have grown quite large and can't handle their properties and don't have the proper staff to run a company. Service is unacceptable and unprofessional.

And then, when I decided to sell my home, he took the listing and did an absolutely amazing job! He made it ready quickly, always being mindful of my budget,, priced it well, and got it sold almost immediately. If you're looking for a property manager or real estate agent look no farther!

First off they're so very "up to date" and "transparent" but then their website recommends sending…read moreVERY SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFO VIA UNSECURE EMAIL THAT IT IS WELL-DOCUMENTED THAT ALMOST ALL "FREE" EMAIL LIKE GOOGLE ETC. (WHICH MOST PEOPLE HAVE) SCAN FOR INFO THEY CAN SELL TO ADVERTISERS. I could never recommend them just for this one policy/ recommendation/ requirement. People have managed to accurately verify others' identities and histories without predatory and risky personal info practices for DECADES, and still can if they actually care about their neighbors and not just themselves and the owners. And are background checks done on owners? They can have violent histories as well, even if they have money or property, and be a security risk to their clients, and they have access to their HOMES AND BEDROOMS. And just because you CAN raise the rent hundreds of dollars upon lease renewal on a long-time years long tenant (that long because they pay on time and are good tenants) and up to the "market rate," and just because it is good for the owners' pockets and yours, doesn't mean its best for OUR COMMUNITY/ COMMUNITIES. You'd know if you spoke to even a couple of the single people, single parent families, other families, and elders, who I personally know, let alone the stories I just hear about over the last 5-8 years, who have been made homeless for months or even a few days or weeks because there's no concern for raising the rent in more reasonable increments that people might possibly be able to absorb over time... and keep being good and happy tenants! And boasting about 50,000 per year increase for landlords who don't actually care about their neighbors as themselves isn't a good look, especially when rents have TRIPLED in some cases in just 5 years... before that they were pretty stable/ rose maybe 5% a year on average for many years prior to that. But then at least you seem to actually repair things that aren't legally mandated, like the A/C when it goes out in mid-summer, unlike other common property owners I know of, so I gave another star. It's disheartening and downright infuriating to see so many people have moved here in droves from elsewhere, CLAIMING to embrace "conservative" values and then go on to clearly be ecstatic to just "get theirs" like almost every other "liberal" ever (I put both in quotes because apparently neither means anything such as truly caring what our Creator wants or what our fellow humans need and what benefits us ALL to build one another UP and to bear with ONE ANOTHER'S burdens so we're all stronger and more capable and resilient). I've been in multiple positions so I recognize comeuppance, the eagerness to gentrify and "make better" while actually pillaging (hello Garden City and Eagle and Kuna most recently) what used to be a state and communities that were a TINY bit affordable, especially for single moms and elders In particular. Regular people (also made in God's image though!) Could be your aunt or cousin, if not your child or parent. or do you think you and yours will never experience health or government problems or that your savings will never be drained or stolen by a desperate health challenge or divorce or abandonment or death or other person or a desperate government that's run up trillions in debt for us all while claiming they're needed and even doing God's will?
