We had a simple job. We needed an area leveled in the back yard with basalt rock to match pathways…read morein rest of our garden, simple enough. For starters they delivered the wrong material the night before the job, which I didn't see til the next morning. Before I could say anything about it they started wheeling it to the back yard. Andres, the main guy was probably responsible for purchasing cheaper brown (ugly) rock Instead of basalt that we wanted, yet he quoted basalt. He also quoted me pricing for a full day, possibly 1.5 days he said for 3-4 workers. Next day he shows up with only one guy plus himself. They finished the work in 2.5hrs, hardly close to the day or day and half he quoted. He also told me the area would need 2 yards of rock but he only brought 1 yard. So now the rock does not match the existing rock and the full area was not done per his quote. When he ran out of rock, he insisted the area we wanted to be covered was much smaller. Andres was very argumentative each time either my husband or I tried to ask questions or give instructions. His English is very broken, either intentionally or unintentionally. He just kept saying "I know what I doing, you don't worry...". He does not take instructions well especially from women (at least the vibe I got) and he is not truthful. His prices are also ridiculous. To lay and compact 2 yards of crushed rock (actually we only got 1 yard) he charged us $2500. He kept saying over and over, "I don't drink or smoke, that how I know what I doing, you don't worry". Trust me this guy is not to be trusted and he will twist what you say and then call you a liar. I will be reporting him to Spokane BBB. Do not hire Miguel Landscaping for any reason!!!
