Simple yet appreciated aspects of doing business with Gutters 4 Homes:…read more Honest and timely communicator, when unexpectedly caught in traffic he sent a note about his delay so I knew when to expect him (not so common). Staight talker in regards to fee and scope. Thoughghtful, high-quality install and asked questions to ensure it was done to my liking. Made a special trip the next day to finish one small detail (a rarity if pay isn't held back). Pleasant attitude on the job site. Most of the above sounds like just a part of doing business, but due to the Seattle market being so hot, customer service and pride of a job well done has declined tremendously. Klint at Gutters 4 Homes is the real deal. I would definitely use his services in the future.

I used Klint on a project in Federal Way. He charged a flat minimum fee to repair some gutters. He…read morewent out quickly to do the repairs. After a week, I called him to politely and professionally inform him that the end caps were still leaking. He got defensive and changed his tone of voice and said he would go out and take a look at it. Another week went by and haven't heard from him so I gave him a call. During our conversation his response was " I'm not going to go out there every time!" This was the first time I asked him to take a look at the gutters after the repair was completed. He later called me back stating the gutters are fine and said "I DON'T NEED A F@&$ING SPEECH FROM YOU!!!" and hung up. I tried to call him back but he didn't answer. ***I will definitely NOT use him again for any future projects.

The roof on our house was replaced. There were 5 roofing layers that were torn down. We chose to…read moreuse TPO as our new roofing layer and also got the downspouts, scuppers, vents, and fans replaced. We are very happy with the results and the way the job was done. We chose Pro Roofing NW due to the way John Borbridge handled our interactions. He was prompt and clear in answering our questions and concerns and worked with us to give a good price on the estimates. The job was started in the same week it was scheduled (though it was delayed by 1 day) and finished promptly (4 days total including down spout installation). The roof installer was led by Teles and they were professional and thorough in their work. In addition to the plywood that needed to be replaced, the fascia and barge boards also had to be replaced in certain sections. We found them honest when they recommended replacing just those sections since the wood was fine in all the other sections. They also painted the replaced sections to match the existing color of the house (we bought the paint for them). What stood out to us was they worked with us to ensure the work was done to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them!

They didn't diagnose a leak explicitly hired them for, the leak was worse when they left, and they didn't honor the warranty for required follow-up work. I hired this company last year to install new gutters but they also offered to paint my house…read more Jacob the owner said he was expanding his business in Seattle so I wanted to give them a chance. My house has brand new windows and they didn't even put tape to protect it. There's paint and debris on my new windows. Here are some pictures to share of the paint job. Very disappointed, look at the bubbles throughout the house. Now cracks have started to show up as well.

*** BEWARE *** 1)…read more*** The only other review on Google reviews (where I have also posted to warn others) is by "Andrew Edwards" - which is hysterically funny, at best, as he is a partner and installer in this very questionable business ***. 2) Jacob, the owner, goes 0 to 60 in a heartbeat, from ultra pleasant to a hot headed, irrational, unprofessional, unethical BULLY, not only in my experience but also per his antagonistic and unprofessional replies to other reviewers posted in YELP. 3) They had to replace my gutter twice after first, mis measuring the length, then again, as they installed my downspout cut approx 10" off from my rain chain catch and dedicated drain. When I contacted Jacob to let him know there was a problem, and the cut for the downspout was off so far, it left my rain chain uselessly hanging at a diagonal and nowhere near where it was previously and leaving the chain useless, he started off telling me that they could "move it". As the text conversation ensued, he started trying to aggressively cover his bases, not wanting to either acknowledge that this was yet another error on their part, telling me that they couldn't install it into an enclosed garden. I corrected him that there was a dedicated, underground drain for the rain chain. He argued repeatedly that, it was not possible and that he was not about to fulfill any warranty if we put the rain chain back where it had been previously - where there was an underground dedicated DRAIN PIPE. He became hostile and demeaning, demanding to know, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" 4/2/25, They showed up early morning at my house unannounced, they would not make eye contact or speak but did replace the gutter, then promptly started spamming my phone - I found there were over 10 calls from Jacob - however, no voicemails. Later, he texted me, demanding immediate payment and telling me that payment was due two days ago (* that would have been before they had even finished the original work - and in our earlier heated texting, we had already told him that payment would be made after the job was complete and the gutter replaced to match the original gutters and accommodating our rain chain and drain below) *** NOTE - Jacob's invoice stated that the balance was due 4/26/25. When I got home from work (4/2/25), I made the payment just to be rid of him and to avoid any further discord - however, he continued to text me that he expected payment. I responded to him that I already had, which was verified online as "PAID" and told him I would be sure and leave a review of his business, ethics and unprofessional, discourteous conduct, as I am detailing here to warn others. In the beginning, after seeing their very nice and professional appearing, however, incredibly DECEPTIVE website, we had also considered hiring them to paint our house. While Andrew Edwards originally stated they would paint behind the gutters when they replaced them, they apparently built in the future potential for the paint project as they left the area behind the gutters filthy dirty (I had to request that they so much as use a broom to remove all the debris collected there - however, they had already installed one side of the house so the debris and dirt remains behind the new gutter. No cleaning, no painting behind the new gutters was performed - so now, when we hire (definitely someone else) to do the exterior painting of the house, the gutters will need to be removed to clean and paint behind them. BEWARE.
