To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. They are very comparable to most bubble tea joints you can find around the GTA. Nothing particularly mind blowing, but fair. Great location with friendly staff!…read more Like many Starbucks locations, they have great consistency across this drinks. I often order very modified drinks and they've all come as ordered! For example, I often order a brewed tea with 4 tea bags. Once, it only came with 2 bags in the cup, but I'm pretty sure they steeped 2, tossed the bags, and then put another 2 in the cup for when I picked it up (so the cup wouldn't be more bag than tea). They've also taken very ample COVID-19 measures to ensure customer AND staff safety! The location is quite spacious, which is great for social distancing measures to be implemented.
