As someone with Autism, loud environments can become physically and mentally unbearable very quickly. I politely explained to two different staff members that the noise was too much for me and asked if there was any quieter seating available. I was basically told the center room was the only option because parts of the restaurant close at a certain time. There was no effort to accommodate sensory needs or even try to help find a solution. Accessibility and accommodation matter. Not everyone experiences environments the same way, and dismissing someone's sensory needs instead of trying to help left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, because of the noise and lack of accommodation, I couldn't even comfortably sit and enjoy the meal with my own group.
