After visiting this charming "extremely small" town I realize why locals really pronounce the "NO" in MicaNOpy. The customer service by the female behind the counter was similar to that of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. Unfortunately the coffee and food is mediocre at best but with practically NO where else or nothing to do in famous MicaNOpy it's not surprising why there isn't an increase of returning visitors from crowded nearby Gainesville. A No for MicaNOpy.

Such a cute small town. Drove through here otw to Orlando. My latte was a 3/5. Delicious. Service and the women were welcoming and chill very cute dog too

We are camping in the Paines Prairie are. We came here for a snack. I got Chicken Salad sandwich and chips. My sister got chicken and dumplings soup. So good. They had a little band outside. Great little sandwich shop. Lots of parking and lots of antique shops.

Stopped by for a quick bite after a wonderful stroll in town. Had some music outside where you can dine under fans or eat inside in the air. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a salad sandwich both came with potato chips and a pickle. Who was fresh and quite delicious, service was okay. Would recommend coming and trying this cute little spot.

    Live music, very enjoyable.

Lovely little spot in main Historic Mycanopy. Beer, wine, coffee. Salads, sandwiches, ice cream. Live music on the front porch. Outside seating is dog friendly.

Ceiling of the cutest deck/patio in town.

Cute place. Small and quaint. Lights on ceiling. Beer and wine offered. I feel like I am in the past. You must come and sit for a while.

We have been here before but came by again. The waitresses were kinda wearing mask, sometimes yes and sometimes not. We had the Aunt Sherrys Chicken Salad wrap (8.95) and croissant (8.95) along with some banana pudding (3.75). The sandwiches were great and the service was great. I did watch the older waitress lick a utensil before putting in the sink. I was a bit weirded out by it. I know they have an open kitchen but it was still not appetizing to watch.

Super homey place! Met Lili and Lisa who did a great job of showing us everything they had to offer from their selection of ice creams to all of their home baked goods! The outside setting was very peaceful and beautiful. Definitely a must see if passing through Gainsville

A nice rich cup of coffee and a homemade oatmeal cookie! It's a small mom and pop corner cafe in a small town of Micanopy FL =$4.00

Food was so good. I had chicken salad and my wife a chili dog. No complaints at all and great food in a small southern town. Good stuff!!

We came back later ordered a bruschetta which I didn't get a picture of and it was delicious and we ordered a fresh tomato bacon and garlic pizza and it ROCKED!. We also had a cannoli to share. Prices are good and the service is top-notch. If we lived in the area, we would come here at least once a week super super great food super atmosphere and the staff is phenomenal. they had a sangria special, but I didn't get one but all the people around me I could hear him say how great it was. However our food took ages to come out. The place wasn't packed and for just a few sandwiches and one small pizza and salad we waited about an hour. Not of this takes more than a few minutes to make. The prices are absurd. Very expensive for a pizza place and not worth the money. They serve your food on paper plates with plastic silverware. With how expensive the food is, that is ridiculous. The food was fine. Nothing great, nothing bad. Very high priced for what you get. The only thing making this 3 instead of 2 stars is because the food is fine.

I had the daily special, which i knew what i was getting based on what was at the register, however they made me the surprise (Vegas) by accident... and then made the correct sandwich without a hesitation. My friend and I met after we parked our bikes. She was sitting outside, and as I was locking my bike, less than a block away, she texted me. I just walked to her without responding, and with a smile and a hug, we walked in to look at the menu. The sandwiches have some very creative names that go along with their creative construction. I got a #10, which was a fusion of French dip and Philly cheese!! I wanna buy the person a beer, whoever thought of that one! Even though it was busy, we didn't wait long to order. Every sandwich comes in a paper bag, so you can take it out or stay and munch. We got a combo with chips and a drink, because how else do you eat a big sandwich like this?! There are board games to play, decor that is not typical and a big display of Guy Fieri, from the Food Network, that lets you know this place is on America's culinary map. After the sandwiches were done, I brought them out to my friend Kimberly, who was saving our table. We both were hungry, so out of the wrap and in with the teeth. Mine was full of flavor and the fact that all the sandwiches are heat-pressed, made the texture very satisfying. The au jus was thick and delicious and made me think someone took great time and effort to make it. It is a casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends, or a solo quick lunch, that can also be a dinner as well. The food is somewhat pricey, but it delivers as a good meal with a creative touch. They could have emptied the garbage can more quickly, as it was more than overflowing, when I went to throw the garbage away. Memorable food, and makes me want to come back to try at least two other sandwiches that I read about.

I saw a faded sign for the restaurant, checked the reviews and photos and said well let's try it! On arrival my dining mates (husband and another couple) looked at me like I'd lost my mind - it's eclectic for sure! But they had good drinks and the food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was a trip and it's everything I want from small town, old school Florida. Great option to check out after you go to Island Grove Winery! I also wanted to address some of the other reviews insinuating poor service based on race. As a table of ghost white people sat in the back dining room when the whole place seemed pretty empty....the service was not at the pace of a chain that's trying to flip tables as fast as possible. Even with three exhausted kiddos with us close to bed time we just ordered another round, let the kids explore the taxidermy and the books.

My husband liked their sweet tea, and I had a gin and tonic, which was really full of gin! We had no room for dessert, but the ones that walked past the table looked amazing. I really recommend this restaurant.
