Came to to COenergy in a panic because I had a horrific experience at a local gas station while filling my propane tank on my mobile grooming van. The week before Christmas is my most business time and I was hoping someone could fix my propane tank. The very kind women inside informed me that they are not licensed to work on the tanks like might that are attached under vans. She gave me many other places to try and I was sitting in the parking lot calling around when Ron asked if he could just take a look! Sure enough he got down there and inspected all the mechanics and to my amazement he said nothing was wrong! He was able to fill my tank and send me on my way! He saved me tremendous trouble and heart ache worrying all my clients pups were going to be dirty and not get their holiday baths! Thank you so much Ron!!! read more

For the last 10 years I have used CoEnergy propane for my home propane service. We have had several issues off and on over the years but out of convenience I stuck with using them. Recently we had a situation where a connection valve on our tank was damaged when we disconnected the tank to fill it. We took ownership for the damage and spoke at length with CoEnergy and they indicated there would not be a charge for a tank replacement. Fast forward to last week when they replaced the tank. The serviceman showed up and verbally told me he brought only about 12 gallons of propane in the tank and he would set up a service call to have it filled up after he set it. I received an invoice the next day for $630 which was immediately deducted out of my account because I'm on autopay. This includes a $150 service fee, a $50 hazmat fee, $307 to replace the damaged part, and 32 gallons of propane @ $3.99 p/gallon. When I called them to question the unexpected bill, their customer service was incredibly unhelpful & just rude. She was eager to cancel my account for me right away when I mentioned the word. To top it off, my gauge only indicates there is about 18 gallons of fuel in it rather than the 32 they are billing me for. They still haven't returned my phone call regarding that matter. The same day I visited Ed Staub in town. They told me they could arrange set up of services in less than a week. There is no delivery fee, no set up fees, no hazmat fee, and I get the tank rental free for a year. To top it off... their fuel prices are $2.69 p/ gallon!! Co Energy is robbing their customers with their prices! I questioned them as to why they are so much higher priced and the customer service girl can only tell me "I don't set the prices". Homeowners beware & do your due diligence before settling! saga continued... I called and asked them to cancel my account and they said it would take up to 30 days for them to pick up their tank. I asked them if I was going to be credited back for the propane in the tank that I didn't use. It took them 2 days to call me back with an answer and then they told me if I wanted to be credited back for the unused gas that they would charge me $150 service fee to pick up the tank, $.50 per gallon restocking fee, and $100 tank rental fee that I haven't paid yet this year. However, if I don't ask for a credit they won't charge me for any of that. I can't believe any company can get away with handling business this way! read more

Don't do business with these people. They cannot keep anything straight. The people we purchased our house from left $700.00 on the account. We called 3 times, explained 3 times who used to own the house and that they left $700.00 on the account for us. Each time Coenergy said ok we have made that update. We even had the previous owners call and write a letter. 3 months later we fill up and they try to charge us for the fill up. We have tried calling 10 times now and continue to get an answering service. These people do not deserve any business. Even if you have to pay more money go to someone else. read more

Went in to buy a flex line and some valves, etc.. Front desk lady refused to sell us anything when we discussed that we had our propane tank bought from a different company... mind you, we are not under contract with that company and we simply needed to purchase some items. We could barely get our words out before she stopped us and was extremely rude about stating she would not sell us the items needed. Based upon this rudeness I would never want to do business with them, but I guess that's ok since they don't seem to want the business in the first place. read more

And, the saga continues.... After arranging a time for CoEnergy to come pick up the tank they left on my property for over two years, they said they would not reimburse me for the gas I had in the tank. It was 65% full which comes to 120*.65 = 78 gallons. At $2.54 a gallon, that comes to $198.12 they were going to simply take (steal) from me. Thank goodness Ed Staub Propane stepped in to help! Their company transferred the gas and stood in as middle man so I wouldn't need to deal with that a__h___ manager they have at Co-Energy Propane. Worst customer service I've ever experienced with any company ever. If I could give them a -5 star rating, I would. read more

For a company that spends a pretty good amount of money on TV advertising you would think they would have some quality customer service. You can't call and talk to anyone that knows about propane products (just the answering service that takes messages) and they WON'T call you back. I went to the Redmond Or. location and must say the guy there didn't want to be bothered and the lady behind the counter definitely needs to attend some serious customer service seminars. They have the best price on propane in town if you bring your tanks to them and the fill guy is pretty good but the lines are unreal. I'll go up the street at only 10 cents more. If I the owner of this company ever reads the reviews, he/she might want to first call the office and then go to the outlet as a mystery shopper. What a disaster. read more

I have never had a problem with Co-Energy. The people in the office are courteous and the service is quick. I think the problem with ratings and reviews is that contented customers rarely bother to leave a comment. read more

Wish I could agree with Dave K. Scheduled monthly service for the winter but for some reason (no one could tell me why) the driver did not fill up my tank the first of Nov. After awhile, I called to find out what happened-it took me two days to get through, even though I left a message with the service to have the office call me- no reply from them so called again on a Fri. Told someone would come out next week- Sunday I finally made it to my tank and found out I was at 9percent-called immediately Monday morning and was told they would be out that day- by 3 pm I called to see where the driver was- well he ran out of propane so now they would come tomorrow- " The check is in the mail." With Thanksgiving in 3 days and my stove and oven on propane not getting a very warm and fuzzy feeling from CoEnergy. As a customer who pays her bill right on time- I expect the company I do business with to hold up their end of our agreement- CoEnergy does not do the job. read more

I tried them to see if they were better than their competition, but I didn't have enough extra money in August to "pre-buy" propane to let them play the comodities market with my cash, so I used their keep full program. When their delivered price per gallon went to $3.089 in winter, I called and asked if there were any discounts or programs to help me with the nearly $400 bill I got from them. They were rude and said, no, your volume isn't big enough. I called around and found that others were substantially cheaper per gallon and began the process to get their tank swapped out. I don't recommend them. read more
