Best meal I have ever had at a two and a half star place! More seriously, service was fine. The grouper tacos were actually amazing. I really enjoyed the baked sweet potato with simply butter on it. Nice size for one too. Sitting outside was great as well. Lunch, no drinks, not busy. That alone might have a lot to do with my positive experience.

We loved it here! My grouper nuggets or tenders were far better than I was even expecting and the blackened grouper and coconut shrimp were also loved. The fajitas were not great. The green peppers tasted pretty gross and had to be tossed but everyone else was definitely happy with their food! A lot of the meals come with salad, which was good. You also get rolls with a cinnamon butter, yum. And you get peanuts! There was live music outside on the patio area and the feel was really casual and made me feel like I was on vacation, which was perfect!

Came here after golf to have a dinner with friends and it turned out very well. We had reservoir a specific time and showed up at the appointed time and were seated immediately. Out waitress, cupcake, approached and took drink orders and explained some menu nuances, and off she went to fulfill the drink orders. When she returned, we all ordered our food, and explained the divisions of checks with individual grouping, and we then waited a short time. Those that ordered entrees, receive part of a big bowl of bottomless salad and we all had warm rolls with special butter. Our meals came quite quickly, even though the restaurant was full of hungry patrons. The food was hot, prepared as everyone ordered, and was enjoyed by all in our group. Checks were allocated correctly and settled and off we went after payment to Cupcake, our friendly server.

Best best value is the BOGO on Wednesday for the Fajitas. Absolutely delicious food excellent service from Tiffany and a great experience inside the restaurant Can't go wrong with the drink specials and the live music.

My friend wanted to watch a football game so we met at Cody's. Sports bar kind of experience. Lots of tvs to watch football . Our server was on her first day and did an admirable job. Friendly, pleasant , and efficient. I ordered chicken and steak fajitas. The food was good .,. Steak was overcooked. A little light on the toppings but acceptable. I would go back and try something else. Three stars against similar types of restaurants.

Hostess is not friendly. Manager is rude and obnoxious. Slow service and food is sub par!!! The only thing good was the waitress.

Hello! I spent $80 at this place a couple of days ago. I'm from Colombia and I was so happy to hear…read morethat there is a Latin restaurant close by. I ordered the famous mofongo with churrasco and another with chicken.... The mofongo tasted so weird that we had to toss it. The same with the "milanesa de pollo", we have never tasted something that gross! The churrasco was decent in taste but it was hard on the teeth. Also, we order plantain cups filled with octopus... oh my goodness. This was extra gross: swimming in oil and the consistency of the plantain was of something that has been prepared and frozen and then they tried to revive it with hot oil. So, basically, they tried to feed me zombie plantains with canned octopus and some bitter veggies. Tasteless but bitter, old and swimming in oil... yuck!! We ordered too a cheese flan. It was old and the consistency was thick and sugary. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU KNOW GOOD LATIN FOOD. AND TO BE HONEST, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD CONCEPT OF LATIN FOOD. TRULY YUCKY AND $80 THROWN INTO THE GARBAGE CAN!! The lady at the counter is nice though. I feel bad for her to be the face of a place that serves such "food". And also I feel bad that a place like Lady Lake has a place like that representing our food. I hope you consider my review before wasting your money at that place. Good luck!

Our hostess was friendly and personable and we were seated right away I had the shrimp with a baked potato and French onion soup - EXCELLANT. Hubby had the chicken on the barbie and it was good. He had a salad and baked potato. My sister in law had the same thing. My brothers had the 8 ounce sirloins with baked potatoes. One had a salad and one has the baked potato soup. It is less expensive than many places and reliably good, as it was on this date. The problem was the service at the begining and the end, and with the same person, a dude with glasses and curly hair. He took an extraordinarily long time for him to get to us after we were seated, to the point that I would have left were this not a special occassion and I did not want to drive all the way to the Leesburg location. After the meal was long over he disappeared again, nowhere to be seen, so that finally we asked a passing busboy for a to go box, and paid the bill via the kiosk on the table. The food came out hot because he had nothing to do with it, it was delivered by pretty young ladies who got it right out of the kitchen.

This is our new "go to" lunch spot. I LOVE this place. We went for the $17.76 special that was a 4th of July special. It was $17.76 for a lobster, crab legs, shrimp and corn and potatoes. It was delicious, and a steal for that price. We went at lunch time, so had no issues with them being out of it. They recently offered a $22, 2 lobster special (no sides). I tried to get reservations for that one, but they were ran out of reservations quickly and I didn't want to have to wait in a long line to eat. They offer these great specials with some frequency. If you go around lunch time, they have a Lakeside Lites menu (I'm pretty sure it's only lunchtime and only mon-fri), but they have nicely portioned lunches at a great price. My husband loves the 4oz. burger and fries ($8.99) and I usually get either the fish or shrimp tacos with fries. Most of the items on that menu are under $10 and perfectly portioned for lunch. If you sit outside, the view is amazing of the lake. They have several overhead fans running, so even if it's hot, it's still worth sitting outside. My daughter had the lunch fish and chips and really enjoyed that also. If you're looking for a reasonably priced lunch with a fantastic view and great staff, then this is your spot. I haven't been for dinner yet, as their lunches are just so good. We'll be back again.

Our mistake was then ordering a dozen raw oysters. Our server told us they were fresh and a nice size. No they weren't. Teeny tiny minuscule remnants of something. Thankfully we caught their HH special and only wasted $9.95 for those dozen empty oyster shells. Don't order those again. Our lobster choices were the warm lobster roll with drawn butter and the macaroni & lobster main course. Both had plenty of lobster and were nicely prepared. Well done. For the most part we enjoyed our meal. But selling those empty shells as fresh raw oysters is criminal. They should be immediately taken off the menu.
