If I could give 6 stars, I would. Cody is an extremely talented instructor, but beyond that he is a great person. My experience with Cody started when he approached me at the range and started up a quick conversation. I appreciated his friendliness and willingness to offer a couple tips. The encounter was awesome because in no way was he just trying to promote his business, rather he was interested in meeting a guy relatively new to golf and he was invested in my journey. It didn't take long for me to reach out to him and set up some lessons. He is very communicative, flexible with all kinds of schedules, and puts the player first. Coming from a background of sports, from the very first lesson he made it very easy to understand the lesson and allowed the athlete to work through swing thoughts and feels. I was blown away by his ability to bridge the gap between your initial golf foundation, and offer guidance to get you to where you want to be. He is so great at teaching to your skill level and working within your ability, there is no cookie cutter fix with Cody and he will not let you leave the lesson with any unanswered questions. Beyond his vast golf knowledge and impressive skill, Cody is an awesome mentor and friend. He took my interest in golf to a passion for golf, which is now undoubtedly a love for the game. I started with Cody back in June with a 5 lesson package. My game needed help. I'd returned to golf after retirement, yet after a back surgery and having both hips replaced, it was like I had every swing in the bag, from pretty good to what was that swing. It was like reaching into a box of snakes, never knew which one would bite. The first lesson he evaluated my swing and we discussed my goals. He made a few suggestions and some swing weeks by the end of day one I saw noticable improvement. He wasn't trying to change everything but adding to what was ok to good and refining things. I've made progress substantially since. Added yards and consistency to all clubs. Especially wedges thru mid irons, scoring clubs. On area you f concern was tee shots, after work on driver I had much more solid contact direction and distance, real happy. We recently had a 9 hole playing lesson I had 5 fairways and one green on a par 3. Prior to the lessons I'd have lost 4 or 5 balls off the tee with penalties etc. I'll be continuing my lessons with a 3rd 5 lesson package. Cody has been very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I think Cody is an awesome golf instructor. He was recommended to me. My friend told me that he could fix my swing despite that fact that I have been playing golf for many years. He was right! I just finished taking 5 lessons with Cody and I'm already seeing results. After not breaking 100 in the last six rounds, before my lessons. I have now broke 100 twice (shot 98,98) and I broke 90 once (shot 88!), so far. I already feel like I'm my way to getting better. Cody gave me great lessons and advice that have helped my swing and my confidence. He is so good that I'm glad I drove crosstown to see him. It was my pleasure to take lessons from him. I was shooting low 90's before Cody. Now I am shooting low 80's consistently. Cody took my swing and per my instructions he re-tooled my entire swing. He showed me I was bringing my bacl swing too inside thus I was hitting the ground early and hooking the ball. He started me on a 2 step process that has me flushing my shots. I hit my 8 iron 155 where before I was hitting 135 to 140. I am in play more often on my drives and my buddy I play golf with has noticed my shots are more consistent and accurate. Met Cody for the first time Friday 6-7-24. I am 73 and struggle with my old senior's swing. Been shooting back up in the high 90's and low 100's. Played today Saturday 6-8-24 at Enke and scored an 88 and this was just with 1 lesson. Give this guy a chance to help you out when needed. I will be back for a refresher in a month or so.....
