He uses both cool new-tech teaching tools and tried-and-true tips, drills, and common sense. It was a blast, he fixed certain vexing swing issues in real time, and I signed up for a series on the spot. Highly recommend.

I initially reached out Corey because of previous reviews here and on other sites. I was looking for someone with the correct credentials and him being a PGA member as well as having awards for his teaching was a great first impression. I'm currently taking lessons with Corey and decided to write this because of how much much value and improvement I'm seeing as I work with him. Corey is friendly and easy to work with. My favorite part of his instruction methodology is that he combines his experience with TrackMan data. I personally really value the combined experience and knowledge + data driven approach. Everytime I have a lesson with Corey I walk away with personalized notes from him and a plan that helps me further practice and instill what we covered. I'm continuously motivated by the incremental growth I'm seeing. Basically, I'd recommend him to anyone looking to learn and improve.

This is his full-time job, what better golf instructor to get connected with other than a full-time teacher. Cody is available, he is always there at Fred Enke driving range under the tent. If he is not busy with a lesson, you can walk up and start your lesson right away. He has an extreme work ethic, rain or shine he is there almost 6 days a week 10 hours a day. I was looking for a golf instructor that can be flexible with my schedule. Cody can accommodate you at 7am in the morning or 5pm in the evening. With me being somewhat older and brand new to golf is a bad combination, guess what? Cody is your man that can make you a better player, I have witnessed to my own eyes and ears, he can work with a newbie and give me instructions to my level. He can work with advance players and give instructions to their level. Cody has it all, instant replay of your swing, electronic swing analyzer that can tell exactly what you are doing. Most importantly, he has a bag full of training aids that he will use to help you visualize how to improve. Cody has a sense of humor, great personality, most of all, he is known to most of the players in Tucson. Cody has been playing golf since he was a little kid around Tucson so he knows everyone. The reason I am doing this review, people like Cody with that amazing work ethic deserves nothing but the best and you will not be disappointed if you take a lesson with Cody Rathbun.

I love this place. Many years ago, I played my first real game of golf here. In addition to my…read moreaffections for the place because of my history with it, Randolph's golf courses (and all the public courses in Tucson, for that matter) have really stepped it up in their efforts to make Tucson City-sponsored golf really pleasant. The staff is universally helpful, playful, friendly and caring. The facilities and greens are now well-cared-for, and one can tell that staff takes pride in their work. This can be felt in groundskeepers, to barkeeps, to starters and marshals and cart girls, to the folks in the pro shop.

Its legit. Here's the weird thing: I pull into the parking lot at 0700 and I'm getting passed in the lot by grandpa's in their Lincoln town cars and Camrys. They're doing 50 mph in the big parking lot racing for spaces. These old guys jump out of their vehicles before their car comes to a complete stop, they hop out, and in one fluid motion they lace up their sketcher extra wide spikeless, open their clic gear, toss their ping cart bag full of metal woods and wedges with iron covers on the cart and grimly hobble as fast as their reconstructed knees will take them into the proshop to be first off the tee box. It was the angstyest golf scene I've ever seen. But here's the thing. It's well run, the pro shop flows people thru, the starter pairs them up quick and the pace of play on a Friday morning at this high round count track was okay. 18 holes in 4hrs...not bad. Greens rolled true but look like they're recovering. Fairways okay, bunkers for sure need more sand and less clay but hey, it ain't Augusta. For sure worth a round but I might have caught it on a good day as it has the high potential to be a 6 hr round and if the staff changes I can see how you can hate the place...so go soon before anything changes!

Oscar took the time to watch my dad hit a couple balls then spent the next hour with him going through the different clubs he thought might work best. I called the PGA TOUR Superstore/Tucson after the round and asked what the return policy was. I was told that since I had worn them, that I was out of luck, which didn't necessarily surprise me. I commented to the PGA employee that it was unfortunate that I was stuck with a $120 pair shoes, which were now of no value to me, and she laughed for a prolonged period of time. I was not at all amused with that, so I started to politely ask her what she thought was so funny, and she hung up on me. (In all fairness, I'm not sure she heard me asking that question, but she failed to even say goodbye.) You won't miss my business PGA TOUR Superstore. That was the first and will be the last time I step inside your store.
