We couldn't decide on what we wanted to have so we got 2 each and took the other half's to our friends to try. I decided on the fried chicken Caesar and the lemon pepper chicken (April special). The chicken Caesar sandwich was DELICIOUS if you're a fan of Caesar at all, try this! My husband decided on the Spicy chicken and the fajita, he liked both but definitely favored the spicy chicken we even took one home for our son. The service was so fast and friendly as well, we will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone!

When I walked in, there was a line of people all waiting for their delicious breakfast. Excellent sign! I placed my order and had to laugh with the worker because they were so many hilarious signs around the shop! Of course I had to try the brown butter sea salt cookie. Can you blame me? My sandwich was made fresh and devoured instantly. The focaccia had a slight char, the egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was super crunchy. I didn't love the American cheese, but that's just my personal preference. There's not a lot of seating options besides the one table in front. No biggie - pull up a curb or stand and eat. My sandwich was delicious and I'm excited to go back and try other variations!

The sandwiches are so so so good. Sadly my kid couldn't eat his but I enjoyed my half very very much. They are kind enough to adjust for nut allergies and cut in half and wrap separately so I could drop off for his camp. I can't remember the drink I got from the fridge but it was blood orange and perfect for a hot day. And the amazing chocolate chip cookie. Wow. Which was made up of perfectly fried pork topped with Dukes mayo (my fav), ranch-kraut (my new fav), and dill. You can really taste the ingredients which is such a plus for me as too many ingredients in a sandwhich can get muddy. - They had a special butternut squash soup with calabrian chili which was phenomenal. At only $3 it was a perfect side for winter. CONS: - Pricey. I think at this price point if it added a bag of chips or some time of fruit or a small little side or maybe a can of soda included it would be a perfect meal and a very reasonable price point. My only suggestion.

I…read morehad noticed Deadpan from some foodie articles and accounts - amazingly, they decided to keep their business going due to the massive support they received when they announced their closure a few months ago. The owner was kind and helped me pick between the two sandwiches I was being indecisive about - the Oh Schnitzel and the Hot Chopped Cheese. He asked if I could handle spicy and I said yes. I let him choose a sandwich for me between the two and he chose the Hot Chopped Cheese and said he thinks I'd enjoy it. He described it as a sandwich with chopped-up cheeseburger fillings inside, and they use a lamb and beef patty instead of just beef. Right, he was. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and the meat was spiced and slightly spicy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw. I felt like I had a well-balanced meal out of the Chopped Cheese. Flavor-packed meat, cheese, veggies, bread - that's all you need. The food was delicious, and I don't doubt that the rest of the items on the menu taste great, but the prices feel high, yes, even in this economy. I say this because I was able to finish this sandwich and still felt I had room to eat some more, perhaps a little snack. I almost always cannot comfortably finish my food in one sitting when dining out, so that was a sign to me that this wasn't all that much food, and I could tell from the get-go because the sandwich did look small.

We tried the Cubano and Saigon. Both were filling, interesting, and tasty. The Cubano wasn't as balanced as I would have liked- some more pickles or acid I think would have helped. Their tots come in fun shapes and are hard fried so they aren't super soft and potatoey in the center. I also enjoyed the cucumber juice. It was a little sweet but overall had good flavor. I got it on white bread with fries, and the fries came out crispy and paired nicely with the sandwich. Between the sandwich and the fries, it was a filling meal and I left satisfied. Where it fell a little short for me was the value. My total came out to around $21 with the fries, which felt a bit expensive for a sandwich meal, especially considering the amount of pastrami was fairly modest. It was enough to make the sandwich filling, but at that price point, I would have expected a little more meat to help justify the cost. That being said, I enjoyed the food and would come back to try some of the other sandwiches on the menu. With prices going up everywhere, I understand that eating out has gotten more expensive, but this still felt a little high for what you get. Overall, it was a good and satisfying sandwich--I'd just be more inclined to come back regularly if the portion felt a little more in line with the price.

I was greatly disappointed with the price of the sandwich compared to the size. The 1/2 caprese sandwich was so small and for $8 and there being no meat, I expected more filling in the sandwich. Same goes for the $20 french dipper sandwich, it was so small and left us being hungry. The "side" of orzo was more like a sample taste, it was 2 tablespoons worth. Overall the food was just ok. I don't understand the hype. The portion sizes do not compare with the big price tag for a sandwich.
