During my evaluation, Dr. Chayet identified an eye condition that had not been diagnosed by physicians in the United States. I had originally planned to undergo a Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) exchange, as recommended by my U.S. doctor. However, based on his findings, Dr. Chayet determined that this would not be the best option for me. Due to macular degeneration, the additional treatments required with LAL lenses could have caused further damage to my eyes--something my U.S. physician had not identified. Instead of proceeding with a treatment that may have been financially beneficial to him, Dr. Chayet provided thoughtful, patient-centered recommendations. He suggested an alternative lens option that would be better suited to my condition and covered by my insurance. He also referred me to a U.S.-based physician he had personally trained who practices near my home. I truly believe his expertise and integrity helped prevent further damage to my vision. Our driver, Alberto, was exceptionally courteous and professional. He communicated clearly in English, navigated traffic skillfully, and ensured we arrived safely and on time to each appointment. Las muchachitas de recepción fueron muy amables, pacientes y respetuosas, cosa que uno valora mucho, sobre todo cuando ya no somos tan jóvenes y necesitamos que nos expliquen todo con calma. Pero lo que de verdad quiero destacar es al Dr. Navas. Qué médico tan más profesional y humano, de esos que ya casi no se ven. Se tomó su tiempo para revisarme bien, explicarme con palabras sencillas lo que tenía y resolver todas mis dudas sin hacerme sentir apurada. Se nota que sabe mucho, pero más allá de eso, que le importa el bienestar de sus pacientes. Me hizo sentir en confianza en todo momento. Las instalaciones muy limpias, ordenadas y con equipo que se ve moderno. Todo el proceso fue muy tranquilo, sin prisas ni malos tratos. EXCELLENT!!! There is no one person to exam you! There is no one equipment that they use! There is not an old equipment! All the contrary! There is a complete team of professionals!! In my case 5 doctors review my case! There is a lot of state of the art equipment that they use!! Facts only facts is what you receive from Dr. Arturo Chayet, Professional is too short to describe his attitude. My case was not an easy one, I had previously saw doctors in Germany and Mexico. I wanted the IOL LAL but I was not a candidate for this type of lens, at the moment I was very disappointed. Also after my surgeries of both eyes I was disappointed. But just a few days after the miracle begin! I could see! and even better than many years before! It's amazing that a person with the experience of Dr. Chayet has the time to answer all your questions, he gives you all the time you need!! For me all the process was EXCELLENT, since I called for the first time till now that already passed 1.5 months after my surgeries. Fui a consulta oftalmológica recientemente y la verdad salí muy satisfecha con toda la experiencia. Desde que llegué, la atención en recepción fue súper buena las chicas fueron muy amables, atentas y te hacen sentir en confianza desde el primer momento. Algo que me gustó mucho es que no te hacen sentir como "una más", realmente se toman el tiempo de explicarte todo y resolver cualquier duda. En cuanto a la consulta, todo fue muy profesional. El proceso fue rápido pero sin sentirse apresurado, y el especialista fue muy claro al explicarme mi diagnóstico y las opciones que tenía. Se nota que saben lo que hacen y que les importa el bienestar del paciente. También el lugar está limpio, organizado y cómodo, lo cual suma mucho a la experiencia. My cataract surgery at Codet Vision was a very positive experience. Dr. Chayet was wonderful, from the beginning, with the initial exam, to the surgery, and follow-up exam. In order to alleviate some post-surgery concerns I had, Dr. Chayet went the "extra mile" to make sure all was well with the concerned eye. I am very pleased with the results. The entire staff was responsive and warmly professional. I also received accurate and very useful advice, including travel, from Rubi, the surgery supervisor, prior to my arrival. I definitely felt that all individuals worked as a cohesive team. Language was no barrier, even by those that were not wholly fluent in english. It totally worked. First time here and I was impressed. Dr. Navas was extremely professional, compassionate and kind. He took care of my needs, prescribed me medications, and scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure the treatment is successful. Came in with severe inflammation on my eyelids, severe watery eyes, and redness, 1 week later my eyes are better than they've been in years.
