Instead, it was one of the most unprofessional services I've ever received. My therapist was the manager . Throughout the massage she repeatedly left the room whenever the door chime went off . Each time she stepped out, the door was left open, which meant I was lying on the table exposed to hallway noise and completely lacking privacy. She never once checked in about pressure, used hardly any oil, and didn't make up for the time she was gone. On top of that, my partner's therapist actually switched out with another person in the middle of the appointment without any explanation. That was shocking and made the entire experience feel chaotic and uncomfortable. A massage is sold by time and by a promise of relaxation and privacy. We did not receive what we paid for. This was supposed to be something special for my birthday and it ended up being stressful instead. I won't be returning and hope the owner addresses these issues.

I appreciate that she listens intently and then formulates a plan to lessen the pain substantially in the selected time session (I've requested an hour each time). I've had some frustrating back issues for several years now (sciatica, scoliosis, bulging disc...you name it), and it's incredibly reassuring to know that Debbie is only a few blocks away when I need her. When is a tip EVER mandatory? & after I write the $3, she grabbed the receipt for me and wouldn't even let me finish writing my total. I asked for it back because I didn't feel comfortable with how she treated me at that moment. I will not be returning. The entitlement is absolutely insane and unprofessional. They take walk-ins, which I love as I have a crazy schedule with my kids and work and never know when I'll have time. And they're open until 10pm which is also amazing. I love getting a massage here. I've had massages at many different places: red door (before they closed at which I've had best and worst), a chiropractor masseur, massage envy (only dug into my shoulder blades lots of pain there). I prefer a little more pressure myself, but I don't like to be in pain. I like the tension release I get here.
