Drain was plugged tight and after trying to snake the drain I pulled a piece of the spray foam insulation from it. I then knew I had major problem. I called and spoke to the secretary and explained the situation. She gave me the boss's number to call and I left him a message, never to hear from him. I called the secretary back and told her I would be in touch after I investigated more. I crawled under the trailer and cut enough of the spray insulation to get to my drain pipe. I cut the pipe and it was plugged solid. After removing 3ft. Section I then saw the reason why my drain pipe was clogged. There was a hole the size of a quarter in the pipe and this is where they pumped the foam in. There was even more foam in the uncut pipe so I took pictures and called my plumber to get estimate of running a new pipe. With the estimate in hand I called one more time to get some justice for the malicious act that was committed by what I thought were some nice Spanish guys that work for this company. Once again I got no return call from this company. I guess once you pay they are done with ya. I will never understand what made those fellas do what they did but it was a very painful experience. I hope someone will read this and think twice, maybe three times before using 1st state insulation.

I just slightly tapped my garage door with the rear l of my Kia Soul and it set off a chain reaction that nearly wrecked the whole thing. Seth arrived early in the morning a few days later, working alone, and set the door into its tracks, reset the cable, and even did a quick conditioning/cleaning job on the outside front of the door, making it look almost like a brand new door. In addition, he screwed in a support brace in the middle of the door because it was bowing. This is actually at the home of my elderly mother, and she has not done any servicing on the door for many years. Seth straightened it out and got it running right. The door is over 20 years old and I was almost thinking we would need a new one. Now I know that the door will run at least another 10 years if not longer. I would easily recommend this business to anyone needing servicing on their overhead garage door, thank you ESOD! C&M does not get credit what we've achieved Our experience with this contractor was completely unacceptable THEY ARE NOT CUSTOM BUILDERS we pacifically asked for reinforced concrete for a car lift in the garage, which was on the blueprints. two months later they brought up that they FORGOT to add it. The project began with a signed contract that specified a monolithic poured foundation, yet somewhere along the way that was changed to a block foundation without our consent . A change of that magnitude should never happen without clear communication, written approval, and full transparency. Instead, the work no longer matched the agreement I originally signed, and no proper explanation or accountability was provided. Once the contract was signed, it was like a completely different ball game. Communication deteriorated significantly, follow-through became inconsistent, and getting straight answers became increasingly difficult. It quickly felt like the level of attention and professionalism that existed prior to signing simply disappeared. There is no professional designer involved. They add whatever is cheapest on their end. The construction manager is very unprofessional and if anything comes up he throws an attitude and will not correct whatever got addressed. Once that last draw was made they deny any responsibility in fixing anything still not fully resolved. The most frustrating part was that the two owners were essentially nonexistent throughout the process. Attempts to get clarity or escalation were met with silence or were passed off, leaving no real leadership or accountability when issues arose. Calls, texts, and emails often went unanswered, and important decisions appeared to be made without proper communication or client involvement. A contract is a binding agreement, not a suggestion. When major aspects of a project are changed without proper authorization and communication breaks down entirely, it raises serious concerns about integrity, reliability, and respect for the customer. What should have been a straightforward construction project turned into a stressful and frustrating experience filled with uncertainty and lack of trust. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this contractor to demand everything in writing, verify all changes, and ensure there is clear accountability before proceeding. It's been the worse experience of building our dream home but unfortunately we wanted the land that came with it. C&M is NOT what it was built from years ago.
